This operation was much simpler compared to the previous hydroelectric station.

Initially, Xu Lin and the others were sowhat tentative, fearing that a few oddly looking zombies or Mutant Beasts might spring out from those workshops or warehouses.

But until they knocked the last zombie to the ground, no accidents occurred.

The whole process was so easy it was hard to believe.

The dozens of workers gathered in the workshop had all turned into zombies long ago.

With the help of the bodyguards, the remaining twelve combat team mbers took less than twenty minutes to deal with all these zombies.

When Zhang Ye saw the signal and stepped out of the car, people inside had already begun clearing the bodies.

Since it was a food processing factory, they had to pay so attention to the sanitary conditions, otherwise, an accident might lead to a large number of casualties among the company's survivors.

The sixty zombie workers brought with them left only ten at the hydroelectric station.

With their professional skills, they were already able to handle so simple equipnt maintenance tasks without the assistance of human employees.

The remaining fifty workers were all brought to this factory to beco workshop workers.

The workshop director was the factory manager who had already turned into a zombie.

At the sa ti, the warehouse was stocked with a large amount of flour and cooking oil, not a huge quantity but more than fifty tons.

So hotel survivors had also co along.

All of them were technical personnel related to electricity and had now all joined the Energy Departnt, becoming the right-hand n of the chief engineer, referred to as Handiwork Geng.

These people would be responsible for the factory's line debugging and the subsequent power supply issues.

Now everything was ready, only ti was lacking.

Two days passed quickly.

Inside the workshop, the rumbling sound of the machines caused everyone's brain to throb painfully.

Only when soone brought a few pairs of earplugs from the storeroom did it get better.

Zhang Ye stood at the forefront of the crowd.

As he shouted the phrase "start working" at the top of his lungs, the workers waiting in front of the conveyor belt imdiately entered their work state.

Their movents were incredibly skillful, not inferior to workshop workers who had been at it for over a decade.

Beyond that, everyone was wrapped up very tightly from head to toe.

The purpose was only one.

That was to prevent contamination of the products on the production line.

The workshop director, with hands clasped behind his back, constantly patrolled the area, occasionally leaning over the conveyor belt to check the quality of the products and always keeping an eye on the workers' physical condition.

Once a worker on the verge of breaking down was found, he would imdiately drag it away from the production line.

And then quickly find a new worker to fill in.

Whether they were workers, the workshop director, or the technicians responsible for daily maintenance, they would all continue working at this factory until one day their bodies could no longer support them and they completely broke down.

Besides, three survivors would work at this factory.

The factory manager, Zhao Dechu, was a middle-aged uncle over forty, while the two accountants were relatively younger, under thirty.

There was no helping it, as the zombie employees currently didn't have the intelligence to perform high-difficulty tasks, so they had to select appropriate personnel from among the hotel survivors to take on the roles.

To ensure loyalty, after deliberately winso affinity from Zhang Ye, the three were promptly added to the employee roster.

Additionally, a team of zombie guards was specially assigned to ensure their personal safety.

"Little Zhao, from now on, this place is in your hands,"

"This instant noodle factory is going to be a major artery for our company in the future, you must hold it tight!"

Zhang Ye gripped the man's hand, speaking earnestly.

His eyes full of trust made this uncle, who had diligently worked in the production line for over ten years and was finally promoted and got a raise today, so moved that tears stread down his face.

"Rest assured, Director Zhang!"

"I, Zhao Dechu, will definitely not let you down!"

"Entrusting with the instant noodle factory is your greatest trust in !"

"Even if it costs my life, I will surely exceed and surpass the task you gave !"

While speaking, the man patted his chest in assurance.

If one were to judge by his expression alone, one might think he was being sent to block an enemy machine gun!

The survivors present all looked at him with great envy, after all, a cushy job like at a noodle factory was not sothing just anyone had the chance to take on.

Who would have thought that a man who had starved in a hotel the day before would turn his luck around and beco a factory director today?

It really did validate that old saying.

Life is unpredictable.

A tangled ss, indeed.

Before it's pulled out, who knows whether it will be a mosaic or a stone.

The day went by quickly.

But the workers in the workshop were still working, showing no intention of resting.

The noodles, just off the production line, were imdiately carried onto the trucks by workers waiting outside and then transported to the company's base.

Most of the periter wall around the base had now been completed; only a part of the west side remained unfortified.

Inside, there were a total of thirty-two villas.

Aside from Zhang Ye's residence, all the others were being used as warehouses.

"Ye Zi,"

"Our warehouses are full; we need to find new ones,"

Liu Qingqing promptly reminded him as the delivery truck had just driven away.

Zhang Ye thought for a mont, and it seed that this was indeed the case.

It appeared that when they had chosen the villa area as their base, the company had only been the two of them.

Using those villas as storage for supplies was naturally more than enough.

But now the company already owned a factory.

And in the future, there would be even more.

The daily output of the noodle factory alone could reach ten tons.

Enough to completely fill up one villa.

At this rate, in less than a week, the remaining villas would be full, and then the supplies would have to be placed outside.

Being exposed to the wind and sun... clearly wasn't a solution.

What was needed were dedicated warehouses.

Zhang Ye thought for a mont and imdiately assigned the task to Tian Gou and two others from the Market Intelligence Departnt.

The three of them were now wandering outside every day, sotis not returning for two or three days at a ti.

Thanks to the relentless efforts of the trio, the number of zombies Zhang Ye could command continued to grow, drawing closer to the system's requirent of five hundred.

anwhile, the survivors hiding in various corners of the city center were all brought back to the hotel by the combat team, with the number reaching one hundred and fifty.

In addition, the three of them also bore the responsibility of scouting information about the surrounding areas and getting a clear understanding of the road conditions in the city center.

When Tian Gou received the notice from Zhang Ye, he was sitting in the car.

"A warehouse?"

"Okay, I got it boss,"

"Leave this to us brothers, heh heh,"

Tian Gou put down the radio, and Zhang Wei imdiately asked:

"What's up, Gou Brother?"

"New task from the boss?"

Seeing Tian Gou nod, the worry on his face deepened a bit.

"But right now we—"

Before he could finish speaking, Tian Gou had already slamd on the gas pedal:

"Scared of shit!"

"Our won at ho are still waiting for us!" Continue your journey on empire

"I refuse to believe that this thing really can't be killed!"
