You've Got The Wrong House, Villain Chapter 15

15

In the end of the novel, Lakis didn’t kill Hestia, who was living together with Annmarie. He returned Hestia, who got kidnapped back to Annmarie. It wasn’t such a bad choice to do that.

Because Annmarie didn’t know that Lakis wanted to harm Hestia, she regarded him as her benefactor. It’s pitiful indeed.

Lakis looked down at Xenos and moved around him slowly. At his words, Xenos flinched for a second. Lakis bent down.

He grabbed Xenos’ soaked red hair, and lifted his head up. Lakis looked into his eyes with a twisted smile on his beautiful face.

In the midst of the pouring rain, his voice was sing-songy and soft.

Thwack! Bam…!

The next mont, he slamd his rugged fist into his head and into the rain-covered floor, several tis.

Xenos’ blood covered his hands. The noble man, who claid to be the knight of Annmarie, had beco a broken rag and was bleeding miserably. Still, his distorted eyes were glowing more than before.

Lakis mockingly smiled at him.

(T/N: i’m going to use first person perspective from yuri’s side for this bc i think it’s supposed to be that way…)

It was a clear, sunny morning. I woke up at the sa ti as usual.

I frowned. It’s weird…… I’m having a hard ti rembering the dream I had last night. I don’t rember what it was. When I opened my eyes, I couldn’t rember the contents of the dream, so I’m kind of worried about it. Sohow it seed like soone familiar was in the dream…but I just opened the door and left to go to the living room, brushing it off.

It was a sunny morning, but it was dark inside the house because the curtains were covering the windows. I went to the kitchen to get a cup of water, just like every morning.

Rattle.

Trickle……

I grabbed my cup of water and pulled a thread out with my other hand while walking through the room. It was to pull up the curtains. At that very mont, my eyes t with soone else in the living room.

Stop.

“…”

“…”

I stopped. For a mont, I was speechless.

Wow. I was a little surprised this ti.

That’s right. There was soone else living in my house now, right?

No, when you wake up, you’re either drowsy, or you forgot about stuff because you’re still half asleep.

Ssssk……. (T/N: a soft sound or describing the movent of sothing scraping against the floor.)

I pulled the thread back into my fingertips.

…Did he see it?

The house was dark and I only pulled a few threads out, so he might not have seen it.

“You’re up, Mr. Lakis.”

I just said my morning greetings.

My attitude was calm and collected like always.

“How are you feeling?”

I approached him. Lakis was still half leaning against the sofa in a light shirt. He must have felt a little stuffy during the night, so he unbuttoned his shirt sleeves and shirt collar loosely, so now I could see his forearms and neck.

A very thin outline of his body could be seen dimly lit through the curtains, it was still in perfect pristine condition today. Perhaps because he was the king of the dark world, that dark background seed to suit him terribly well. His blue eyes, which were shining vividly in the dark, were silently staring at . They were narrowing slightly. Perhaps he was awakened by coming and going out of the room.

“If you don’t mind, I’ll open the curtains a bit.”

I walked to the window and moved my hand. I thought it was a bit cumberso because I had a habit of using the fragnts’ powers, but I couldn’t do it now.

Rattle.

Like I said before, I pulled the curtains slightly down and turned around, I could see Lakis’ face, which got lighter because of the sunlight.

He stared at standing by the window, covering his eyes with his hands as if he were blocking out the sun. It was like a gleaming figure. He was badly hurt, but the scene in front of seed to be like a photo shoot. As expected, the term “fashion” is aningless to a handso face.

In a way, it was like a picture even though it was a bit ssy. I just lifted up the curtains, and the mood did a 180, since it was dark a little while ago. Suddenly, it felt like the black swan had beco a swan, or it felt like Hyde had beco a guardian. In the morning sun, Lakis was showing off the innocent vibe of the man that I saw yesterday in front of .

In the dark, his eyes that were shining alone, gave off a vibe of a wild animal hunting for its prey, but now the Lakis in front of mr was just… like a cute little kitten that had just woke up from it’s sleep. Of course, there was a danger of being slaughtered by this villain, so I couldn’t say this out loud. I don’t know if he saw my web or not because there was no sign of that.

“Sorry if I woke you up. I have to get ready for work.”

Lakis heard and stretched out his arms to pull the paper and pen left beside him. He wrote sothing down and showed it to .

[It’s okay. I don’t mind.]

With the personality of the Lakis in the novel, I thought he would throw a pen at my head, but what followed was a thoughtful and courteous answer.

In this way starting a conversation with him was easy. When he first woke up, I casually said, “I know about your situation, so I think it would be better for you to not overwork your vocal cords.”

There aren’t any vacant rooms in the house, so Lakis was still occupying the sofa in the living room. There was space in the basent/storage room, but there were dolls stuck in it… I think I’ll clean it up later when Lakis isn’t looking.

When I told Lakis yesterday that I didn’t have a vacant room, he said that using the living room was fine. He was fully aware that he was an uninvited guest. But I was still suspicious of his habits.

“Did you sleep well or did you still feel sick?”

This ti, he shook his head.

“It may be a bit early, but I have to leave so breakfast will be ready shortly. If you aren’t hungry, you can eat it later.”

Lakis was still sick, but that wasn’t a reason for to be absent from work. It’s a different story if he were a fragile creature that needed all of my care.

But he was a villain with a pure appearance and a life force of a cockroach. At least he was a strangely well-mannered villain. Well, it’s better than being arrogant, and ordering to do this and that.

“Please wait a minute. If you need anything, just let know.”

I said so and headed for my room. First of all, I had to change out of my pajamas.

His blue eyes stuck to Yuri retreating back to her room.

‘What was that just now?’

Only

He frowned, questioning what had happened a little while ago. In fact, he was awake before the door even opened and he could hear the sound of Yuri moving about.

—She’s going to work again today. Do all the eastern kids get up and go to work all day like ants?

Lakis was a pessimist, who never knew when or where he would be beaten to death.

No matter how injured he was, he couldn’t fall asleep anywhere.

—Fuck, a life like that is no fun. Yeah. When I see kids like that, I want to give them the luxury and entertainnt of the people of Carnot.

When he ca into this house, he was stunned that soone was taking care of him, but…It was an exception because he was so exhausted that he fell asleep.

He was watching her every move in the dark living room. He was especially surprised to see her out of her room in her pajamas.

T/N: sorry for not updating yesterday, i was sick & tired. nothing much happened this chap… but i hope you enjoyed:)
