NEXT Group Headquarters

Special Assistant Bei Yuan heaved a sigh of relief the mont he saw the familiar vehicle entered the parking spot. Swiftly, he jogged over to the vehicle, ready to greet the man.

President Lu Xun has been absent from the company for a few days to accompany his sister who ca for a vacation. In these past few days, it was Bei Yuan who had to go through all docunts for Lu Xun.

Each ti a problem arose, it was Bei Yuan who had to help the president to settle everything.

Bei Yuan wanted to cry each ti he thought about the torture he has to go through. Fortunately, the big boss had returned. As he thought of how his workload will lessen, Bei Yuan had the urge to laugh happily.

"President Lu, good morning," Bei Yuan greeted the mont Lu Xun stepped out of his car.

Lu Xun nodded before he walked over to the elevator to head to his office.

As the elevator slid close, Bei Yuan swiftly gave the man his report of what had happened in the past few days during Lu Xun's absence. After reminding Lu Xun about his eting in the morning, Bei Yuan finally noticed that sothing was not quite right.

At this ti, Lu Xun was leaning on the elevator wall while looking at the phone.

Bei Yuan heard the music coming from his boss's phone and knew that he was playing a ga.

His eyes widened in surprise.

Although Lu Xun had never looked serious whenever he was at work, Bei Yuan had never seen his boss playing gas on his phone. For a while, Bei Yuan did not know how he should react or respond.

"President Lu," Assistant Bei Yuan was finally able to make a sound. "You're… playing gas?" He tried to peek at his boss's phone, but that man shot him a dagger look when he was blocking his light.

Lu Xun continued to look at his phone screen and killed so monsters. By the ti they arrived at his floor, he had managed to complete the quests and could deliver the items that the NPC had asked him to collect.

As he slid the phone back into his pocket, Lu Xun stepped out of the elevator. Sensing that the person behind him was not making his move, Lu Xun raised a brow at his assistant. "Are you not going to co out?"

Assistant Bei Yuan snapped out of his trance and ca out of the elevator.

Once Lu Xun had started to look into the docunts piled up on his desk, Bei Yuan finally heaved a breath of relief. As he was about to leave the office, Lu Xun called out his na again.

"President Lu?"

"Assistant Bei Yuan, did you play mobile gas?"

Bei Yuan was startled upon hearing his boss's question. "Yes. Occasionally."

"What kind of gas did you play?"

Bei Yuan ntioned a few card gas that he played online. Then, he imdiately bit at his lips upon noticing his boss staring back at him in disgust. "President Lu, why did you ask?" He recalled the scene he saw in the elevator and quickly ca up with the reason. "President Lu, are you interested in mobile gaming?"

"That's right." Lu Xun nodded. "These past few days, my nephew, Jia Xuan has been teaching to play mobile gas. I looked at them and thought that mobile gaming is a profitable industry."

He thought about the amount of money that the players are willing to pay and could almost imagine the profit he could make.

Bei Yuan was finally relieved.

Previously, he had thought that it was strange for Lu Xun to play gas. It turned out that his big boss was playing gas to make more money! As expected of the big boss of the NEXT Group!

"President Lu, what kind of gas did Jia Xuan teach you to play?"

"An MMORPG called 'Legend of the Sky'. Assistant Bei Yuan, have you heard of this ga?"

A slight frown appeared on his face. Bei Yuan thought that this ga sounded very familiar to him. "President Lu, isn't that the ga that Huo Yun Chen was endorsing for?"

Lu Xun nodded. "That's the one. Assistant Bei Yuan, I need you to research mobile gaming," Lu Xun said. "I am planning to invest so money into this industry."

"President Lu, leave this to ."

In the evening, Bei Yuan went to find his boss again. When he walked into the office, he could hear the music from the ga his boss was playing.

Bei Yuan stared at his boss speechlessly. It seed that each ti he entered the office, he would catch his boss playing gas. From the look at it, Bei Yuan was almost positive that President Lu is addicted to mobile gas.

"President Lu, you're… playing gas again?"

"I'm trying to level up as quickly as I can." Lu Xun answered without looking up. "I needed to be in the top ranking player."

"Why?"

"I have my reason."

Bei Yuan heard his answer and knew that he should not probe further into his boss's business. "President Lu, then, why don't you consider buying a player's account. This way, you can be a top-ranking player without spending a lot of ti on your phone."

Lu Xun paused when he heard Bei Yuan's words. The mont he looked up, he was attacked by a monster and died.

"You can do that?"

Bei Yuan nodded. "Of course you can." He had done his howork and knew a little bit about the kind of ga that his boss was playing.

A slight frown appeared on his face. Lu Xun thought that he needed to change his strategy.

He snapped out of his thought and looked at his assistant again. "Bei Yuan, why are you here?"

Assistant Bei Yuan cleared his throat. "President Lu, did you forget that you are supposed to head to the studio today? You promised Director An that you will visit the shooting and have dinner with him and the cast."

His heart skipped a beat upon hearing that. Visiting the studio ant that he would have the chance to run into Song Xing Xing, right?

However.... as he thought of the way he had parted with the girl last week, Lu Xun began to hesitate.
