"Xia Yu, soone is here to see you."
Xia Yu was working on her report when her colleague ca over into the office with a playful smile on her face. Xia Yu blinked in confusion and asked, "Looking for ? Who is it? The professor?"
"It's not the professor." The nurse laughed. "You will know about it if you co out. Co on. That guest is waiting for you in the lounge," The nurse left before Xia Yu could ask her more about it.
After saving the file, Xia Yu walked out to the lounge and saw the person she has been missing. Her eyes lit up and Xia Yu lunge over to his side. Just like that, she was caught in his embrace.
Sensing that there were people staring in her direction, Xia Yu quickly get pulled away and hid her face in her hands. Turning around, there were a few of her colleagues hiding behind the wall to peek at her.
Huo Yun Chen laughed when he saw her reaction.
"When did you get here?" Xia Yu asked. "You didn't tell you're coming."
"It's a surprise." He stretched his hand and pinched at her cheek. "When will you get off from work? Let's head ho together, alright?"
Xia Yu lowered her head and saw that there was still less than an hour before it would be ti for her to clock out. "There are still half an hour left."
"Then, I will wait for you."
"But it might take longer," Xia Yu said. "I still have to finish my report. Why don't you head ho first?"
"It's fine. It's better if I wait here with you," Huo Yun Chen said. He leaned over and whispered, "It's too lonely to wait at ho when you are not around. At least, I can look at you."
Her cheek flushed as the person was flirting with her. After talking to her colleagues, Xia Yu let Huo Yun Chen rest in the office while she was completing her report.
Once in a while, her gaze would shift to the man. However, Xia Yu quickly shook her head and forced herself to focus. Huo Yun Chen probably arrived a few hours ago and headed straight to the hospital to find her.
She wanted to finish her work quickly and let him go ho and rest.
When she finally finished her report, Xia Yu turned around and found that the man was sleeping on the sofa. Her gaze turned warr. Xia Yu walked over to his side and planted a kiss on his lips, causing him to stir in his sleep.
The man opened his eyes slowly and smiled at her. "Xia Yu. Are you done with your work?"
"Mhm... Co on. I'll go and get change. Then, let's head back together."
Huo Yun Chen tugged at her hand and pecked at her lips. "Go on. I'll wait for you here."
Xia Yu went to her locker and get changed. Then, the two of them leave the hospital together.
The couple was holding hands as they walked along the street. On their way back they both stopped at the nearby supermarket and brought so ingredients.
It was rare for Huo Yun Chen to visit her in F Country. Xia Yu wanted to pamper her boyfriend a little bit with her cooking.
However, the mont they arrived ho, Huo Yun Chen went into the kitchen and decided to cook instead.
Xia Yu stood at the entrance of the kitchen and laughed as she watched him cutting so vegetables. His cutting was rough, but it wasn't all that bad.
"What are you doing? Aren't you tired after staying on the flight for hours?" Xia Yu asked. "Co on. Move away, I'll do the cooking instead."
"It's fine. I'll do it." Huo Yun Chen shifted away to avoid her from taking away the knife in his hand. "Didn't you say that you were going to support and let be a househusband? I still need to show you that I will be good at this job."
Xia Yu laughed upon hearing his words. "Are you going to cook instant noodles for again?"
"Of course, not. Recently, I have been practicing my cooking and learned to cook a few dishes." He leaned over and pecked at her lips. "Go out. You have worked hard with your report. Let cook for you. I'll call you when I'm done."
Xia Yu walked out and decided to set up the table instead. When she returned to the kitchen again, Xia Yu fund that she was unable to look away. They say that a hardworking man was best-looking. Seeing how Huo Yun Chen was working hard in the kitchen made her heart flutter.
Besides, his back view was too attractive and sexy.
Subconsciously, Xia Yu walked over to his side and wrapped her arms around his waist, giving him a back hug. Her nose was pressed against his body as she inhaled his familiar scent.
His movent halted. But after a few seconds, Huo Yun Chen began to continue to move around again. This ti, he deliberately move slower so that he could work on his cooking while enjoying her hug.
"Huo Yun Chen?"
"Hmm?"
"You sll good."
"Are you sure you were not talking about the food? Just wait for a while. The food will be ready in a while."
Coincidentally, her stomach started to growl.
Huo Yun Chen laughed. "Are you hungry?"
"Mmm... I'm hungry. The sll of your cooking is very good."
"Well, I'm hungry as well. But I'll have to feed you first."
Xia Yu watched him in puzzled, wondering why does it feel as if there was sothing wrong with his words. However, once Huo Yun Chen began to fry the steak, Xia Yu quickly stopped thinking about this matter.
Because they were moving slowly, it took him a while to finish his cooking.
"How long are you going to stay in F Country this ti?" Xia Yu asked.
"Brother Xiang let take a break after what had happened in the past few weeks.. This ti, I am going to accompany you for a while longer."
