Just as the call ended, Lu Xun entered the bedroom and walked over to the bed. He looked at the phone in Song Xing Xing's hand and spoke, "Were you on the phone with mom and dad?"

Lu Xun pursed his lips into a thin line. His heartbeat was erratic as he wondered whether his parents-in-laws had so opinion about him after what happened.

"What did they say?"

Song Xing Xing looked up and placed her phone on the table. The corner of her lips tilted up upon seeing the anxious look on his face. Song Xing Xing lifted up his part of the blanket and patted the mattress with her hand, gesturing him to get on the bed with her.

Lu Xun walked over and slid into the bed. He lay on the pillow and the couple stared into each other just like that.

"I told them what happened in the police station just now and they were all worried about you," Song Xing Xing said.

Lu Xun lowered his gaze and let out a breath he did not know he was holding. Feeling her warm palm against his cheek, Lu Xun raised his gaze again.

As their gaze t, Song Xing Xing leaned over and pecked at the tip of his nose.

"Dad says, Eldest Uncle will help to urge the lab to test yours and Chen Yu Xi's DNA. You should get the result soon and clear your na."

Her arms wrapped around his waist and she snuggled closer to give him warmth. "Are you alright?"

"I'll be alright." Lu Xun forced a smile. He felt sorry that Song Xing Xing had to face these things while she was with him. However, he was glad that she had stayed around and trusted him.

He could still rember how the mont she had seen him, the first thing she did was to give him a hug and ask if he was alright. She did not think to ask whether what she was seeing on the internet was true or false.

She trusted him that much and he was glad for that.

He could not help but feel that getting together with Song Xing Xing was one of the good decisions he ever made.

Lu Xun chuckled. "Of course." She could ask him of anything. As long as she stayed with him, he would not hesitate to give it to her.

Song Xing Xing bit her lower lip, wondering if she could ask this question. It doesn't seem appropriate for her to ask but she was very curious.

Since Shi An Na had left Lu Xun to marry soone else, then she should work hard to protect that marriage. Song Xing Xing was curious to know why the couple had chosen to separate.
