With Song Xing Xing's instruction, Lu Xun finally found a parking spot. He ca out of the vehicle and suddenly understood why his wife wanted to stop by this place.
Lu Xun turned to the girl beside him and raised a brow. "Xing Xing, is this your high school?"
"Mhm." Song Xing Xing nodded. "The Last ti when we were in C Country, you took around the city and showed the place of your high school. This ti, I'll take you around to look at my high school, alright?"
Hearing her words, Lu Xun found that he was interested to look at Song Xing Xing in her school uniform. He seed to rember seeing a picture of her in the uniform before.
Back then, Song Xing Xing would often tie her long hair into a high ponytail. Her fair and long neck would be visible. She looked lively and cute.
He could almost picture a group of young boys trying to win her attention.
Although he was her first love, Lu Xun was sure that there would be a lot of young boys who had a crush on her.
Lu Xun suddenly beca a little unhappy as he thought about the love letters and confessions that Song Xing Xing might have received in high school.
"It's late. The guard won't allow us to go into the school compound." Song Xing Xing said, completely unaware that the man beside her was eating vinegar again. "Let's just walk around the place."
"Alright." Lu Xun nodded. He held her hand tightly in his as she led him to her high school.
Because they could not enter the school compound, Song Xing Xing decided to show him around the place she usually hang around with her friends around the school area.
Song Xing Xing showed him around the area and continued to tell him a little bit about her school life.
Seeing the way her eyes sparkled as she looked at him, the unhappiness in his heart gradually disappeared.
A while later, they reached a street where there were a lot of small cafes and restaurants.
Song Xing Xing looked around the area and felt a little nostalgic as she had not visited the place for years.
A lot of things have changed.
The ice cream shop where she often hung around with her friends was no longer around. The shop was now replaced with a cute milk tea shop. Outside the store was a long queue line. Most of the custors who lined up to buy this milk tea were young girls.
"Would you like so milk tea?" Lu Xun saw how she has been eying the shop for a while and asked.
Song Xing Xing shook her head. "It's fine. Let's just walk around for a little bit."
At this ti, a familiar scent wafted to her nose. Her eyes brightened up suddenly. Without saying a word, Song Xing Xing dragged Lu Xun until they reached a small restaurant.
Lu Xun tilted his head to look at the signboard and quickly understood why she had dragged him over. When he turned to her, Lu Xun accidentally caught the sight of her gulping.
A peal of deep laughter escaped him. "Let's go in and have our late-night snack."
Song Xing Xing rubbed her tummy.
His suggestion sounded good but less than two months before the wedding, Song Xing Xing had promised herself to control her weight.
A while ago, she had found the wedding dress that she liked and the seamstress had taken her asurent to make so alterations. If she suddenly gained weight, then she would have a problem fitting into the dress.
Lu Xun seed to understand what was going into her mind. "Let's just eat a little bit before we go back. Anyway, it's not every day that we get to co over to this place. Hmm?"
Song Xing Xing pondered over his words and agreed. In the past, she had often co over to this restaurant to eat. She kind of missed the taste of their spicy crayfish.
His lips curled into a smile.
At this ti, there were still a lot of custors coming to eat.
As they entered the restaurant, Lu Xun did not miss how a few young boys were looking at his wife. He imdiately led her to a table at the corner of the restaurant and blocked their gazes from looking at her.
After waiting for a while, an auntie walked over to their table to take their order. The auntie's eyes brightened up when she saw Song Xing Xing. "Hello, Miss. I haven't seen you in a while."
"Auntie, you rember ?" Song Xing Xing smiled.
The auntie nodded. "You were one of our loyal custors. How can I forget you." The smile on her face widened. She shifted her gaze to Lu Xun and nodded to greet him. "And this is...? Your boyfriend?"
Song Xing Xing laughed. "Auntie, this is my husband."
A look of surprise appeared on her face. "Young miss, you are already married at a young age."
Hearing the auntie's words, Lu Xun felt a little unhappy. What was this auntie trying to say? That he's a little old?
"Co. What do you want to eat? Since it has been a while since you co over, Auntie will give you a special discount."
Song Xing Xing ordered a small set of spicy crayfish and so drinks.
The auntie looked at Song Xing Xing and hesitated. "Will that be enough?" She seed to rember that in the past, this girl could eat a large set all by herself.
"Auntie, that will be enough. I'm watching my weight."
Once the auntie left to attend another custor, Lu Xun turned to his wife and raised a brow. "It seed that you are a frequent custor at this restaurant in the past."
Song Xing Xing laughed. " In the past, I usually ca over with a few of my classmates. Their foods are good and the auntie always gave a little discount for students."
He was suddenly reminded of the question he had in his mind earlier. "Tell the truth."
Song Xing Xing blinked. Finding that Lu Xun was staring at her with a dangerous look in his eyes made her heartbeat accelerate.
"In the past, how many love letters did you receive?"
Her expression turned blank. It took her a while before she could react. Song Xing Xing burst into laughter. "I don't know."
"How can you not know?"
"Because I don't pay attention to this matter. Each ti I found sothing that did not belong to , I'd throw them away."
"Really?"
Song Xing Xing leaned forward and narrowed her eyes. "Then... Let ask you. Hubby, how many love letters did you receive previously?"
Lu Xun was pretty popular and had a lot of fans. He was about to answer when the girl suddenly spoke again.
