As compared to his Maserati, Song Xing Xing thought that this scooter bike was a little humble.
Lu Xun smiled. "Well, it's mine. This is the first scooter that I bought with my first paycheck. It might seem a little old, but it is still functional. I'm having a hard ti parting with it. When I move over, I decided to bring along this scooter to Capital City." He sat down and turned to his girlfriend, motioning her to sit behind him.
After a brief hesitation, Song Xing Xing slid onto the scooter and gripped his shirt tightly.
Lu Xun laughed. He pulled her hands and wrapped them around his waist. "Hold on tight. Just like this."
Before she was able to say a word, the scooter had already moved forward. Song Xing Xing yelped. Her body jerked forward and Song Xing Xing subconsciously held his body tighter.
Growing up, she had never ridden a scooter or a motorcycle. Therefore, she was a little worried that she might fall when the vehicle had suddenly moved forward.
The scooter bike stopped imdiately.
Lu Xun was about to turn around when he began to notice that Song Xing Xing had her face and body plastered to his back with no space between them.
His throat rolled. "Are you alright?"
Song Xing Xing opened her eyes slowly and realized that they had not left the guard's house. "Sorry."
"Are you scared? Is this your first ti riding a bike?"
Her face turned a little red. "Un."
Lu Xun chuckled. He patted at her hand and spoke. "Don't be afraid. I'm here. Xing Xing, I won't let sothing bad happen to you."
Song Xing Xing took a few deep breaths to calm down. Then, she loosened her grip around his waist and eased up. "Alright. I trust you."
