Sing Xing Xing lanted that she was too slow to stop Lu Xun from opening the door.
She should have known that the person who would co over to her apartnt to find her early morning would not be soone simple. The last ti, it was her brother who had showed up at her apartnt, giving her a surprise. This ti, it was Song Yi.
Song Xing Xing had the urge to hide in her room and never ca out again.
Unfortunately for her, Song Yi had already stepped into her apartnt. He stopped in front of the dining area and stared at her with a blank look in his eyes.
Seeing the way he was looking at her, Song Xing Xing felt her scalp numbed.
"Cousin Brother." Her voice sounded fragile.
Song Yi shifted his gaze between the two of them alternately. Finally, his gaze stopped at her bandaged ankle. "What happened to you?"
"I sprained my ankle last night," Song Xing Xing answered. "Cousin Brother, why are you here?"
A frown appeared on his face as Song Yi continued to look at the injury on her ankle. Pulling a chair, Song Yi then sat across his cousin. "Last night, soone had recognized you at the hospital."
Song Xing Xing looked at her cousin in horror.
"Don't worry. That person is a good friend of mine," Song Yu quickly explained. "He saw you at the hospital and told that you were injured. I tried to call you when I found out, but your phone was off. Your sister-in-law was afraid that you might pass out while living alone."
Song Xing Xing wondered if it was not because of her sister-in-law, would this cousin be concern about her?
"It's good to see that you're breathing and well."
The corner of her lips twitched at his words. She wondered if she was blood-related to this person.
"Now," Song Yi sat up straight. "What's going on with you two?" He looked at Lu Xun and asked, "What is President Lu Xun doing in my cousin's apartnt early this morning?"
One glance at Lu Xun, Song Yi was able to tell that he did not co to see Song Xing Xing early in the morning like him. Looking at the slight crease on his white shirt as well as his unkempt hair, Song Yu had guessed that Lu Xun should stay a night at her cousin's apartnt.
A man and a woman staying the night together. What else didn't he understand about?
"That…" Song Xing Xing spoke before Lu Xun could say a word. "President Lu was with when I accidentally injured myself. He was worried, that's why he stayed to look after ."
Song Yi thought that her words were nothing but gibberish. If he wanted to look after his cousin, there are a lot of ways he could have done so. He did not have to stay the night.
As the thought ca to her mind, Song Yi turned his head to Lu Xun. This ti, he was waiting for Lu Xun's explanation.
He could still rember how shocked he was upon seeing Lu Xun's appearance at the door. He had almost thought that he had arrived at the wrong house.
"I am seeing your cousin."
Song Xing Xing stared at Lu Xun with wide eyes. She was not expecting that Lu Xun would be this straightforward!
"It has only been a while, but I am dating Song Xing Xing." Lu Xun decided to tell the truth. Since Song Yi had seen him in his cousin's apartnt, there is no reason for him to deny their relationship. Moreover, Lu Xun sincerely wanted to be with Song Xing Xing.
anwhile, Song Xing Xing was embarrassed. All she wanted to do now was to cover Lu Xun's mouth with her hand and prevent him from saying another word.
Of all people, the person who would find out about her relationship with Lu Xun would be Song Yi.
Song Yi studied the two of them. One of them had an embarrassed look on her face, and another had a resolved look on his face. Finally, Song Yi heaved a long breath and turned to his cousin. "Relax. Why are you so tense? Song Xing Xing, let talk to Lu Xun for a while."
"What are you going to talk to him about?" Song Xing Xing was worried that her cousin might be here to make trouble. Suddenly, she was worried about Lu Xun. What if her cousin spoke sothing that would make Lu Xun leave her?
It was only last night that Lu Xun had told her about the cheque and his ex-girlfriend. If Song Yi pulled a move similar to that or threatened him with Song's family's power, wouldn't Lu Xun hate her to death?
She did not want that!
Seeing that his cousin stayed unmoving, Song Yi narrowed his eyes, warning her to quickly made a move. "What are you afraid of? It will only take five minutes at most."
Facing her cousin's fierce gaze, Song Xing Xing lowered her head, admitting her defeat. She did not dare to do anything against Song Yi. This person is just too scary. "I can't move. My ankle is still injured."
Song Yi chuckled at her excuse. From the corner of his eyes, he watched as Lu Xun stood up and supported her cousin to return to her bedroom.
Lu Xun returned to the dining table and sat across Song Yi. The two of them sat like that without saying anything for a long ti. Lu Xun was aware that at this ti, Song Yi was scrutinizing his every move.
Although he was considered one of the wealthy people in Capital City, his wealth and reputation could not win against the Song family. Lu Xun did not doubt that if Song Yi wanted him to disappear, then he would have to disappear.

I just wanted to let you know that Song Xing Xing is the cousin that I watched growing up. I won't allow you or anyone to hurt her. Lu Xun, you are close to Zhang Yu Han. You should know what our Song family can do."
Lu Xun sat up straight. "I know. You can rest assured. I am serious about Song Xing Xing.. I won't do anything to hurt her."
