As it was ti to clock out, Song Xing Xing gathered her things and checked at her phone again.
The last that Lu Xun had texted her was in the afternoon. He told her that he was going to be busy attending so conference and later, he will need to et so important people.
Song Xing Xing clicked on the ssage icon and hesitated. After a while, she decided that it would be better if she did not disturb him.
From the studio, Song Xing Xing took the cab and headed to the mall. When she arrived, she looked at the directory and quickly headed to the shop.
The mont she arrived, a male shop attendant greeted her at the door. The shop attendant gave her a look over and sneered upon noticing Song Xing Xing's casual dress up.
Most of the items in the shop are expensive. The shop attendant looked at the custor and thought that soone like her would not have enough money to spend at the shop. His eyes narrowed at the thought that this girl had probably co to their shop to shoplift.
As the thought ca to his mind, the shop attendant was planning to keep his eyes on Song Xing Xing. As long as she made a move to steal, he was going to catch her red-handed.
"Hello," Song Xing Xing greeted with a smile. "I was wondering if you can help ." She took out her phone and showed the shop attendant the picture of Lu Xun's coat. "I'm looking for this design. Do you still have this one in your shop?"
The shop attendant glance at the model in Song Xing Xing's phone and his face shifted a little bit. He has been working for the shop for years and had recognized the model in her phone.
It was one of the expensive models the shop sold.
His suspicion about Song Xing Xing heightened up. However, before this girl made any move, there was nothing that he can do to her.
"Miss we still have this design."
Her eyes brightened up upon hearing the shop attendant's words. "Then can you help show it to ?" She scrolled her phone and said. "Wait, I still have the size."
The shop attendant narrowed his eyes when he saw the notes in Song Xing Xing's phone. "Miss, are you going to planning to pay for it?"
Song Xing Xing thought that the man's question was a little strange."If you have the design as well as the size that I requested, of course, I am going to pay for it."
The shop attendant was still having doubts. However, a while later, he let her wait at the lounge while he went inside to find the model that Song Xing Xing had requested.
As the shop attendant was away, Song Xing Xing spent her ti looking around the place. This was the n's clothing shop and naturally, there was nothing inside the shop that attracted her.
Just as she was heading toward the sofa, a familiar face walked into the shop. Their gazes t and each of them was looking at each other in surprise.
"Song Xing Xing?" the man spoke. "I didn't expect to run into you here."
Song Xing Xing forced a smile and greeted him politely. "Brother Qiu Yang."
Qiu Yang is her friend, Qiu Ling Yi's brother. The last ti they t was during her grandfather's birthday banquet. That ti, her mother had tried to set her up with Qiu Yang. Seeing the man again made Song Xing Xing feel a little awkward.
"You're here to buy sothing?" Qiu Yang spoke. "Sothing for your boyfriend?"
"I ruined soone's coat and ca over to replace it," Song Xing Xing said.
Qiu Yang's mother and her mother were close. Song Xing Xing was worried that Qiu Yang would talk to his mother and soon, her mother would learn about her boyfriend as well. She did not want her mother to confront Lu Xun this early.
Even if she wanted to introduce her boyfriend to her mother, she should wait until their relationship is a lot stable, right?
"So, it's like that." Qiu Yang smiled brightly at her words.
At this ti, the shop attendant returned with the design that Song Xing Xing had requested earlier. His gaze shifted to the new custor and his lips curled into a wide smile. "Master Qiu, hello. I have been waiting for you."
Qiu Yang nodded to the shop attendant. Then, he looked at Song Xing Xing again. "It was rare for us to et in Capital City. Xing Xing, let's go out and have a al later."
"Alright." Song Xing Xing agreed perfunctory.
The shop attendant turned to Song Xing Xing in surprise. Seeing the way the two acted, the shop attendant could guess that the two had a good relationship. As he thought of how he had suspected that the girl might be a thief, the shop attendant began to shiver in fear.
Fortunately, he did not do or say sothing that would offend this female custor.
Song Xing Xing looked at the garnt in the shop attendant's hand. After ensuring that it was the sa size and the sa design, she quickly walked over to the cashier to pay.
"Let pay for this."
Song Xing Xing quickly stopped him. "No. I'm buying this for soone. It would be inappropriate for you to pay for this."
Qiu Yang stared at her for a few seconds before he retracted his card.
Song Xing Xing handed her card instead and settled the paynt. Once everything was completed, she grabbed the paper bag and bid her goodbye to Qiu Yang.
Qiu Yang saw the way the girl seemingly trying to escape from him and chuckled.
A breath of relief escaped her as she finally left the mall. Song Xing Xing cursed her luck for running into Qiu Yang. Fortunately, they had not exchanged contact numbers and there was no way for him to contact him.
Song Xing Xing took the cab and headed straight to her apartnt. She was planning to head ho, took a long bath, and then wait for Lu Xun to call her.
The cab soon pulled over as they reached her apartnt.
She alighted the vehicle and walked over to the apartnt building. However, her step soon halted the mont she saw the familiar vehicle parked at the entrance. Just beside the car, the man she has been missing stood up straight.
Song Xing Xing blinked a few tis as if she could not believe her eyes.
As if noticing that soone was staring at him, Lu Xun then turned around. His lips turned up into a smile as he called out, "Xing Xing."
The mont she heard her voice, she quickly snapped out of her trance and walked over. As seconds passed by, her steps accelerated.
His face paled as he watched the girl sprint towards him. Worried that an accident might happen, Lu Xun spread his arm to catch her.. Just like that, the two of them were pulled into each other's embrace.
