A group of n dressed in their business suits greeted him as soon as he arrived at the NEXT Bright Entertainnt office. Their expression tensed as the man stepped out of the vehicle.
Soon, Director Fei stepped forward to welco their big boss and ushered him into the building.
He was led into a room where a group of new faces was lining up at the side.
As most of them were new talent, the group could not hide their nervousness when they saw their big boss walked in.
Lu Xun watched the group and saw that the company had decided to hire bring in the four n and three won into the agency. As Director Fei introduced the new talents to him, Lu Xun only nodded in acknowledgnt.
As it was rare for their big boss to visit the office, a few talents who were at the agency ca over to greet their President as well. Zhen Qi, one of the top models under NEXT Bright Entertainnt ca over to greet Lu Xun. After Actress Mu Xiao Xiao, Zhen Qi was the most valuable talent in the agency. Naturally, she would not waste her chance to make an appearance to please the big boss.
Seeing the junior lining up at the side, Zhen Qi exchanged a few polite words and gave so encouraging words. As the top moneymaker for the agency, naturally, Zhen Qi was invited to join President Lu and a few higher-ups to have a al at a private restaurant.
The eting venue had changed from the office to the restaurant. As they waited for the food to arrive, the big bosses discussed a few matters regarding the growth of their agency.
As they had signed with a few new artists, the agency had requested the President to help them promote their new talents through their studio.
Fortunately, President Lu was easy to talk to and this discussion did not last for too long. Once he heard the briefing from Director Fei, Lu Xun finally left the scene with Assistant Bei Yuan.
Lu Xun was about to enter his vehicle when he heard Director Fei called his na.
"President Lu."
A slight frown appeared on his face as he watched Director Fei and the model, Zhen Qi approached him together.
Director Fei let out a cough before he held out a few envelopes to Lu Xun. "President Lu, the committee from Red Entertainnt Award had sent out VIP invitations this morning. Will you be coming to this event as well?"
"When is the event?"
"Third June," Director Fei answered. "Will you be available?"
Lu Xun glanced at his assistant. Once he saw that Bei Yuan had nodded, Lu Xun turned to Director Fei and gave his green light. "I will attend."
Director Fei smiled. "President Lu, will you need soone to accompany you this ti? I think Zhen Qi should be a good candidate. Recently, her popularity has risen after she was picked as C&C brand ambassador."
Lu Xun shifted his gaze to Zhen Qi. Then, he pushed his glasses with a finger and spoke, "No need."
Although he had already expected this outco, the smile on Director Fei's smile did not waver. Director Fei always wanted to arrange for one of their artists to accompany the President on the red carpet. However, each ti, President Lu Xun would reject his arrangent.
Zhen Qi was used to President Lu's treatnt and did not mind his rejection. However, her expression still turned a little red from embarrassnt as she was rejected to appear with President Lu Xun again.
"Then, I should reserve only one VIP invitation for you as usual?" Director Fei asked. He was about to put away the invitation cards in his hand when he heard the President speak again.
"Let have two invitation cards."
Director Fei's movent halted. "Ah?"
Except for Bei Yuan, everyone was wondering whether they had misheard things.
President Lu Xun always asked for one invitation. Each ti that he attended an event such as this, President Lu Xun would always attend alone. He never let anyone accompany him nor had he invited anyone to go with him. Even Assistant Bei Yuan had never attended this kind of event with their big boss.
"President Lu, you need two invitation cards?" Director Fei asked again.
"Un." A frown appeared on his face. "Is there any problem?"
"No. No. Of course not." Director Fei quickly pulled out two invitation cards and handed them over to their big boss. Because he was too curious, Director Fei could not have to ask, "President Lu, are you planning to invite soone? Will Assistant Bei Yuan be going with you?"
Lu Xun rely glanced at the director. He took the invitation cards from Director Fei and glanced at them. "Thank you."
Director Fei looked at his big boss's expression and thought that he should not be too curious.

Song Xing Xing was walking towards her apartnt building when she noticed a familiar vehicle parked at the side. She stared at the vehicle with a dazed expression and watched as the bespectacled man alighted.
"I called you but you did not pick up."
Song Xing Xing quickly fumbled to reach her phone in her purse. "Sorry. I didn't hear it." She finally took out her phone and saw that there were a few missed calls from Lu Xun.
"It's fine." Lu Xun flashed a smile.
"Why are you here?" Song Xing Xing asked. "Didn't you said that you would be busy eting so people?"
"The eting ended earlier than I thought. I thought about asking you out for dinner." Lu Xun paused and glanced at the shopping bags in her hands. A few stalks of green onions peeked out from the bag. "It seed that you already had sothing else planned."
She followed his gaze and smiled. It was the end of the month and Song Xing Xing was planning to stretch out her money. She had already eaten sothing expensive for lunch. This ti, she should eat sothing light for dinner.
"Then, how about inviting for a dinner at your place?"
Song Xing Xing thought that she had perhaps misheard his words. How could this person suddenly ask her to invite him to her place? At this ti, shouldn't he convince her to go out and have a al with him?
"Now that I think about it, I haven't t Mr. Fluffball for a while," Lu Xun said. "The last ti I ca over, Mr. Fluffball seed to like very much."
The corner of her lips started to twitch.. Song Xing Xing wanted to applaud Lu Xun's shalessness. He had even used her cat as an excuse!
