Chapter 97: A Mysterious Rich Lady Wants to Buy , the Takeout Boss?

The sign-up sheet was quickly filled.

Qu Xiaoya looked at the notebook full of nas and smiled happily. Everyone in the class had signed up, not a single person left out.

To her, this ant the whole class acknowledged her work as class rep.

“Jiang Zhou, thank you for your help.”

“? I didn’t really help. Wasn’t it Ding Yue who helped you?”

Qu Xiaoya shook her head. “I ant, thank you for helping with my family’s business.”

Jiang Zhou suddenly understood. “Oh, you an the advertising thing? Well, it was for the class trip anyway, no need to thank .”

“Then let treat you to lunch? We can talk more about the trip.”

“Lunch? Nah, I’m eating with Siruo. Right, Siruo?”

As Jiang Zhou turned to look at Feng Siruo, she brushed past him like she hadn’t heard a thing, quickly walking out of the classroom.

“What’s up with her?” Jiang Zhou looked at Ding Yue in confusion.

Ding Yue raised three fingers and huffed.

“Three…? What three?”

Jiang Zhou frowned slightly. “You an a three-way? I’m not interested in you.”

Ding Yue’s face turned red. “What the hell is going on in your head?”

“But you understood what I ant?”

“Go to hell, scumbag. Figure it out yourself!”

She flipped him off and stord out of the room.

Jiang Zhou was left puzzled.

What was with the number three?

He lit a cigarette and thought about it for a long while, but still couldn’t figure it out.

Was it so kind of hidden aning?

He rembered Feng Siruo’s birthday was during the New Year, so it probably wasn’t that.

Besides, girls always had a few days every month…

Still, this was the first ti Feng Siruo had shown so attitude, and he actually found it kind of cute.

He had always hoped she’d beco a bit more expressive, and this counted as progress. Even if she was still timid, at least she was bold enough to be upset with him now.

anwhile, Qu Xiaoya looked at him again.

“She’s not coming anymore… so, do you want to have lunch with instead?”

Jiang Zhou looked up and noticed her cheeks were rosy. “Are you sick or sothing? Why’s your face so red?”

Qu Xiaoya fumbled nervously. “Ah… no, I’m just naturally like this.”

“Born like that? Amazing. Can you change colors too?”

“This is my face, not a traffic light…”

“Oh, sorry. My bad.”

She bit her lip slightly. “So… lunch?”

Jiang Zhou thought for a second. “Better not. I’m dieting at lunch. See you, class rep.”

“Oh… alright.”

She looked a bit disappointed as she quietly watched him walk downstairs.

They always said Jiang Zhou was a scumbag with unusually high emotional intelligence.

So why couldn’t he even understand when a girl asked him out to lunch?

At that mont, Jiang Zhou left the teaching building and headed straight for Ganfanren.

Su Nan was inside, reviewing recent order data with the finance lady.

Both of them looked pretty pleased, so business must be going well.

Jiang Zhou poured himself so tea and walked over casually. “Yurong, how are the food street vendors’ sales doing lately?”

“Not bad. Things are starting to stabilize.”

“Good. As long as sales aren’t dropping drastically, that’s a win. Thanks for your hard work.”

“Thank you, boss! I’ll keep working hard!”

Jiang Zhou nodded and returned to the sofa, motioning for Su Nan to co over.

She seed to have nothing to do at the mont, but as a boss, he couldn’t allow his employees to slack off.

She walked over obediently, looking confused. “What’s up?”

“Rember how long it’s been since you last danced that ani girl routine for ?”

“It’s been about a week, but it’s not my fault! I’ve been so busy lately.”

He pointed at the room. “Well, looks like you’re free now.”

She snorted. “There are others in the office too, you know!”

“Then I’m docking your pay.”

“I’ve already been exhausted these past few days. You can’t do this to !”

Jiang Zhou sipped his tea. “Then find ti later and make up for it. You’ll still get paid.”

Su Nan looked indignant. “No way! I’d break my legs dancing that much!”

“Not my problem. That’s your main duty. How can an employee neglect their job?”

“Asshole… I don’t even know why I agreed to this in the first place…”

Jiang Zhou smirked. “Wanna find an empty classroom and start now. Dance till sunset?”

She pouted. “Those classrooms have caras. If I get fild, I’ll go viral!”

“Nope. Get back to work, slacker!”

“You jerk of a boss, I will quit soday!”

“Quit? What, go work in the cafeteria? Don’t let anyone know you were once my employee, how embarrassing!”

“When I graduate and get a good job, I’m coming back just to roast you.”

Just then, a beeping sound ca from the front door.

Jiang Zhou looked up.

Sure enough, Lu Qiang, head of the delivery team, had arrived on his bike.

Their team was supposed to operate out of the smaller brick building, but with the recent flood of orders, Lu Qiang had been running around constantly.

“I’m here, boss!”

Jiang Zhou put down his tea. “What is it?”

Lu Qiang pulled out a al box. “Another outside order. Sa person as last ti, Yin Shuya.”

Yin Shuya?

Jiang Zhou froze for a mont.

That na sounded unfamiliar.

“Who’s Yin Shuya?”

“I told you before. She’s ordered from us three tis now.”

“Oh, the rich lady living in the villa?”

Lu Qiang nodded. “Yeah. Didn’t you say if she ordered again, you’d deliver it?”

Jiang Zhou thought for a mont. “Right, I did. Alright, send the address.”

“I already did. Sent it before I got here.”

“Cool. You get back to work, I’ll go drop it off.”

He wasn’t overthinking it.

Better to be proactive and et this person.

It wasn’t about whether she was rich. The important thing was figuring out her motive.

Ordering frequently, always from different addresses, this wasn’t normal.

Especially with the upcoming startup investnt conference, she could pose a potential threat.

And threats should be resolved sooner rather than later.

Jiang Zhou grabbed his keys and the delivery and left.
