"Delivery?"
Shen Mochen opened the door and received a parcel that looked like a set of docunts.
"What delivery?"
Cai Yuncui also curiously ca over.
Shen Mochen handed the parcel to Cai Yuncui, who opened it and her face lit up with surprise: "Eh, it arrived so quickly!"
Shen Mochen leaned over to take a look: "What is this?"
"An application form, I applied early, didn't expect it to co down this fast."
Cai Yuncui waved the docunt in front of Shen Mochen.
"What kind of application form, can I take a look?"
"Sure, go ahead."
So Shen Mochen took it, glanced over it, and realized he was holding a voluntary enlistnt contract for the military reserve of Buque.
The main target audience for this contract were superpower users who were not current mbers of Buque, under the age of 28. Successful applicants could draw a salary that wasn't particularly generous, about equal to the average inco of a common person in Yupi Country, barely enough to be considered welfare.
For superpower users, this amount of money was really not much; according to what Cai Yuncui revealed, First Middle School paid her a bit more than what she used to earn at Buque. Logically speaking, she wouldn't apply for this for the sake of money.
Moreover, after applying for the reserve, it ant that in "necessary" tis, the applicant was obliged to unconditionally obey orders from superiors. Although such commands were extrely rare, once issued, it implied an urgent situation. For a group of superpower users who had already passed their peak, such scenarios could be quite dangerous, so not many signed this contract, and those who did were mostly under twenty.
For soone like Cai Yuncui to sign up until the "old" age of 28 as a superpower user was indeed very rare.

"You know?"
"What you want to say, Chaoyan and the others have already told , you all care about , right? Think I shouldn't sign this, all of you hope I can be safe and sound!"
Shen Mochen managed a smile: "Yes, if Sister Cai had been a normal retiree, then only signing up for reserve duty for three to five years, I could understand. But you are a graduate, already not quite suited to the intensity of fighting monsters, and now you have abruptly signed up for the maximum term, it could be very dangerous if you're called up in the future! And... there are quite a lot of superpower users, if you don't do it, there will be others who will."

He walked over and silently helped Cai Yuncui wash the dishes.

Shen Mochen hesitated for a mont, "Cai sister, can I ask what your superpower is? Oh oh, but if it's inconvenient to answer, then it's okay not to say!"
"There's nothing inconvenient to answer about it!" Cai Yuncui extended her hand in front of Shen Mochen. To his surprise, that fair hand slowly transford into a beast's claw.
"Is this beastification?"
Shen Mochen's eyes widened as he observed Cai Yuncui's hand. He recalled that in the cinema, she seed to transform into a similar figure, with cat ears and a cat tail and all that.
"Sort of..." Cai Yuncui smiled as she retracted her hand, "My superpower allows to transform into creatures like monsters. What you just saw was an incomplete transformation, I can transform my whole body when I fully unleash my power!"
"That's amazing, do you fight monsters after fully transforming?"
"Yes, my speed and strength both increase significantly after transforming. Sotis when I encounter flying monsters, I can even turn into a big bird and fight them!"
"Amazing, amazing!" Shen Mochen energetically clapped his hands, marveling in admiration.
Cai Yuncui shyly readjusted her hair, a blush on her face, "Don't be like that. Chaoyan and the others have more powerful and convenient superpowers than mine! Especially Xingshuang, she is the truly amazing one!"
Xiao Xingshuang, Shen Mochen had heard Cai Yuncui ntion her more than once, and by the sound of it, Xiao Xingshuang seed to have strength that clearly stood above the rest of the team mbers. He wondered who was more powerful compared to Yin Caiyu.
Shen Mochen's face showed admiration, "I think Cai sister is already quite impressive. By the way, monsters are generally very large, right? How large can you beco when you transform?"
"The size can actually be controlled by myself. The smallest would be about the size of a person. The maximum isn't certain, at my strongest level of superpower, I could grow to about twenty or thirty ters tall!"
"That big?"

"Hehe, pretty impressive, huh!" Cai Yuncui puffed out her chest with pride, but a touch of lancholy quickly flicked across her eyes, and she laughed softly, lowering her head, "But not anymore, now I can only reach about seven or eight ters tall."
