"Haah~"

Shen Mochen yawned as he walked downstairs, followed by a series of sighs.

It wasn't that he disliked attending classes on Monday—in fact, he treasured his life at First Middle School. Since his transfer there, the frequency of Yin Caiyu's ho leave had visibly decreased.

He knew that must have been a sacrifice Yin made for him to transfer to First Middle School. Therefore, Shen tried his best to cherish every day at First Middle School, because every minute and every second he spent there was exchanged for by Yin at the risk of his life.

So actually, Mochen quite liked Mondays.

The reason he was annoyed now was naturally because of his girlfriend who was the beauty of First Middle School, Miss Catherine.

Deep down, Shen always felt that Catherine shouldn't have taken an interest in him, even if she knew he was that so-called "mysterious boy," she shouldn't be that superficial.

Moreover, if she really liked him, they wouldn't have just started dating and already spent a weekend without a single text or phone call. Shen Mochen enjoyed the peace. Moreover, didn't it also prove that neither of them was interested in each other?

But these were, after all, just Shen's subjective guesses, filled with personal optimism.

Maybe Catherine really only cared about looks, maybe she really liked him for so reason?

Before Yin Caiyu slept with him, Shen just considered Catherine a minor annoyance. But now, Catherine had beco a burden Shen was eager to shake off.

Who was she to him, anyway? They weren't close at all!

But Catherine wasn't so easy to get rid of, considering her status. It wouldn't be much harder to snuff him out than to squash an ant, and it could even involve Yin Caiyu.

Thinking about it made Shen curse inwardly again. Yin was insane, too—just after sleeping with him, he forced him to get along with a girlfriend he didn't like.

Do you have so kind of cuckold fetish? Do you get excited seeing with other girls?

Yin even threatened him, saying if he didn't comply, he would tell Catherine about their bedroom affairs... If you want to die, don't drag down with you, okay? Even if we did sleep together, you were the instigator and I was just an accessory!

Since when does an instigator threaten an accessory?

As for Yin's claim that Catherine already knew everything, Shen thought it was mostly a bluff. But he still explained things to her yesterday. Regardless of the truth, Shen didn't want any misunderstandings with Yin since they've always been open with each other.

Having thought so much, what was he supposed to do about Catherine's situation? Shen definitely couldn't keep dating her, but with her overwhelming influence and Yin's coercion...

It just made him more and more irritated!

Shen quickened his steps downstairs, pushed open the building's main door, and morning sunlight poured onto the trees at the entrance, gently swaying the spotted tree shadows on the ground, the wind whispering through the leaves, bringing a refreshing coolness.

After the rain last night, the morning air was moist and fresh, mingling with the scent of the earth. Shen inhaled deeply, ready to ride his bike to school, when suddenly soone else ca down from the building.

"Are you... Shen Mochen?" The person's voice carried a hint of surprise.

Hearing the familiar voice, Shen slowly turned his head, and was taken aback. Wasn't this... the very kind person, Cai Yuncui?

"Cai... Teacher Cai?" Shen stuttered.

A joyful smile appeared on Yuncui's face as he quickly approached Shen and patted him on the shoulder, "It really is you! I thought you looked familiar. Lucky , we're living together!"

"Uhm... Uhm..."

Shen responded awkwardly, thinking this was quite unfortunate!

Yuncui's eyes were smiling happily, "I just moved in yesterday, I'm in 301 now. Which floor do you live on?"

"302..."

"Wow, right across! That's really quite a coincidence!"

Oh, that's just my lousy luck! Shen Mochen wailed inwardly.

Due to Yin Caiyu's nonsensical ramblings the night before last, which made people think Shen Mochen was a young boy secretly pining for his pretty teacher, now facing Cai Yuncui was excruciatingly awkward.

The only consolation was that Cai Yuncui was not a weirdo like Catherine, and probably wouldn't take advantage of the situation to try and date him.

Having just moved in and running into an acquaintance, Cai Yuncui was quite happy, contemplating the whims of fate. At that mont, she noticed Shen Mochen's hesitant speech and, with a twinkle in her eye, she guessed that he might be shy.

After all, he liked her! When eting soone you fancy, it's always a bit embarrassing!

What a timid and adorable boy... Cai Yuncui thought to herself.

Having already felt a sense of affection for Shen Mochen after talking with Yange, her feelings only deepened at this point.

In her efforts to be a good PE teacher, Cai Yuncui had done her howork, aware that it's normal for high school students to have crushes on older teachers.

And as a teacher, even if just a PE teacher, it was her duty to guide him on the right path!

Cai Yuncui resolved shyly to do just that.

"How do you usually get to school? It so happens we t today, let drive you," Cai Yuncui said.

Shen Mochen thought for a mont, although it was a bit awkward with Cai Yuncui, the route to school was uphill, and pedaling his bike every day was particularly tiring, taking a ride indeed seed like a great alternative.

"Okay... Thank you, Teacher Cai!" Shen Mochen gratefully replied.

"No problem, it's the least I can do. Your sister and I are close friends, you know!"

Hey hey hey, don't so easily consider a bad woman you've only t once as a good friend! You won't even know if she sells you out later! Shen Mochen complained inwardly.

Should I say you're too trusting, or that you really are a big sap!

Before long, Cai Yuncui ca out pushing an electric scooter and handed the only helt to Shen Mochen, patting the back seat: "Hop on, we're taking off!"

The corners of Shen Mochen's mouth twitched ever so slightly—so what you ant was two wheels! With two wheels, don't use "drive," just honestly say "ride," okay?

Regretting it now was too late, and besides, even an electric scooter was less tiring than a bike. Shen Mochen had no choice but to put on the helt and huddle on the back seat of the electric scooter.

"Wrap your hands around my waist, don't fall off," Cai Yuncui instructed.

Shen Mochen hesitated before lightly placing his hands on Cai Yuncui's waist.

Cai Yuncui got a little thrill; it was the first ti in her life a man had touched her waist, and she hadn't anticipated her own sensitivity.

He's just my student, only my student... Cai Yuncui silently chanted to herself, twisting the throttle.

Bright sunlight fell on Cai Yuncui's blushing cheeks, her ponytail whipping Shen Mochen's face in the wind, her body carrying a coconut fragrance.

"I ran into your sister the night before last, did she tell you?" Cai Yuncui's bangs flew in the reflection of the rearview mirror.

"Yes, she did," Shen Mochen replied, his hand on Cai Yuncui's waist but not daring to step out of line, even though they were quite close already.

"Hehe, that's good. From now on, just like your sister, you can tell anything, okay!"

Cai Yuncui faced the sunshine with a radiant smile, and the gates of First Middle School ca into view.

Shen Mochen thought, are you sure you want to be like her? To sleep with like she does?

A cool breeze sneaked up Shen Mochen's neck, and he suddenly felt a dangerous vibe unconsciously. Turning his head to look around, he was instantly petrified.

A tall figure stood at the school gate, bathed in sunlight, their eyes like lakes, silver hair flowing, quietly watching the two of them.

"Cat-cat-catherine..."
