We grew our voice so it could be heard... So it could talk about everything no one thought Marianne would ever tell or confess...

"After we survive tonight... it’s all up to your will, Marianne... My help can only get to this point." — Moving, so while sitting I could hold our own hands with supportive squeeze, I fondly tried to convey that it was ti for her to do what her old self could not do. — "If you finally decide to do it... rember that you won’t be alone... It’s your truth and your choice if you want to tell it to those who love you and you love... No matter what it is you decide... I’m to be with you... always. I’ll always be supporting you, sweetheart."

With the will I wasn’t in charge of, our hands tightened their hold of each other, and I felt how a knot of conflict Marianne and consequently I have been holding inside slowly loosened to dissolve pleasantly.

The sensation felt... wholesoly liberating... and it was enough for the pleased drops falling down our tightly closed eyes to know, she was also ready to release the hidden secrets she has been keeping from those that never stopped loving her.

My soul and hers fluttered with joy and pride at an untold yet conveyed decision. Marianne’s self from the ti I first noticed her existence... is so very different to what I can rember... and even my own character, I can tell has gone through so interesting changes as we gradually beca closer and shed stronger with each other that arriving to this point things feel new to our skin.

"We will do our best as we have done until now... Difficulties... we can overco them together."

Both of us knew that the odyssey to co wasn’t going to be easy, and yet... both of us were fine with that. Perhaps we even were excited at it because of its significance to our lives.

"Phew~... Alright."

My hand wiped the few tears that out of emotion had been let out, giving little slaps to our cheeks and squeezing them together to make ourselves change the mood... because soon, the door would open with our Lovely Paige’s visit, who would carry with an innocent but anticipating smile the breakfast we would need to devour so this day could be actually survived.

"We should leave the emotional stuff for later! Today has only just started, darling- wo~ah?! Haha~!" — Standing up a little too quick I lost a little balance yet laughed at it since my eagerness was at fault. And so... The day of the Autumn Ball, has officially started.

’Everything that will happen... who I’m to finally et... Gosh... it’s scary how thrilling this is!’

*******

Preparations today were completely on our own, unlike the previous ones where the Princess would co and prepare alongside us, making us so good company.

As usual, the day was busy with such preparations but given the kind of day this ant for us specially, I can tell now as the preparations are over that if not for preparing on our own the exhaustion would be more than the one I already feel since following the Princess’s conversations is a hazard I hadn’t noticed was so heavy.

The sunset was already on its majestic plenitude when we finally were able to take a break and solely wait for the scheduled ti to make our entrance. The carriages entering the palace’s grounds were gradually decreasing as fewer nobles were left to arrive for this awaited Autumn Ball. And while I could peek from my balcony at the carriage’s parade, I wondered which was the one that carried the original Female Lead to this Ball she was to debut at.

’Karina is probably already here while I think about this...’ — I thought slightly unsettled by the idea. After all, the true Female Lead was to finally appear and start the original story tonight... and yet my presence was already making this start so very different that uncertainty was making wonder how things would turn out the more this day advances in ti.

’I know for sure that she has been staying at Clente’s ho... It happened in the novel but the Princess also gossiped about Karina staying there the other day... That bit of the story hasn’t changed at least...’ — Concerned, I pondered.

What I knew about the story, even if slightly different, was repeating... Clente being how he is and how I recall the Female lead to be, they shouldn’t have interacted much... but it was tonight that truly mattered as a whole.

’Honestly... I don’t think she’s a good woman... doing stuff like that with two n at a ti doesn’t feel right to ... but that’s why I was only alright with it since it was a novel... fantasy is fantasy, but reality is sothing else.’

The fact that I’ve t the people she’s supposed to lead this novel with makes this opinion even stronger.

If they were fictional characters... I could just read it for the sauce, the drama and the dirty entertainnt... but I’ve interacted with these guys... none of them deserve to be part of such a plot. Actually, no one does... unless they like debauchery, because then I guess it would be fine. But from what I can tell about Clente and Zeleskiaz that shouldn’t be the case, haha...

... Or is it? I an... they are still n... but not all n are into that... right?... Argh, why am I having these thoughts now?

At tis like these, I shouldn’t doubt what my eyes and very self could see before her appearance.

It was useless overthinking and it was only unsettling , who had been weirdly calm throughout the day.

’... I’m sure it will be different to how the novel said it would... It has to be... I’m counting on it...’ — Going back inside, I went for the luxurious little coffer Mada Fannie Moody had handed today while helping us get dressed in the piece she had confected.

Taking it preciously in my hands I raised it to my chest as if a silent pledge was told. Caressing the velvety red with hope... and saving it in the inner pocket of the frail dress we wore. Making sure I was not to forget it.
