Inside the palace.

The flas on the Firebird grew more intense, and within the fiery clouds, the illusory cries of the Phoenix echoed.

Suddenly, an endless stream of crimson flas, like a pouring rain, cascaded down, attacking Lu Xuan and the others in the palace.

The handso young man opened the Peacock Sword in his hand, and dozens of sharp flying swords shot out in a fan-shaped array. The continuous and unbroken sword intent effortlessly slashed all the approaching flas into nothingness.

The graceful woman frosty white spiritual shield enveloped her, keeping the invading fiery flas at bay.

In the hands of an ordinary-looking young man, a massive black sword emitted a dark glow, constantly devouring the falling red flas from the air.

In Lu Xuan's dantian, the Xun Thunder Sword pellet spun rapidly, emitting nurous subtle black sword rays that converged into a hurricane. Centered around him, it spun continuously, instantly shattering any fla that entered it.

After resisting the initial fla attack, the three unleashed their techniques, aggressively advancing toward the nurous Firebirds dancing in the air.

Occasionally, a Firebird would explode, turning into tiny flas.

After clearing so of the Firebirds, the three freed up their hands and flew towards the fiery clouds.

Inside the fiery clouds, the illusory Phoenix pair danced faster and faster, and the charred wood hidden within the clouds emitted a dark golden light.

Suddenly, the Phoenixes rged into one, transforming into a gigantic Firebird several dozen yards long, with its wings covering most of the palace's roof.

With a gentle flap, dark golden long spears, each burning with red flas, descended from the sky.

A fist-sized milky-white bead flew out of the handso young man's storage bag, rapidly rotating, extending its chill to ten yards away.

As the long spears fell into the cold area, their speed slowed significantly, disintegrating section by section from the tip to the tail as they approached the young man, finally crumbling.

"Roar."

A clear and cold dragon roar echoed as a water dragon, over ten yards long, surged out from the elegant woman and shot rapidly towards the enormous dark golden Firebird in the sky.

Not far away, a pale-white giant net quietly closed in.

"It seems these three senior brothers and sisters ca prepared."

"Whether it's the bead, the water dragon, or the giant net, they all contain rich water spiritual power, exerting significant restraint on the illusory Phoenix. With their seamless cooperation, it seems they will soon overpower that Phoenix."

Lu Xuan, while using the mini hurricane ford by the Xun Thunder Sword rays to defend against the fla invasion, carefully observed the situation.

"How can I get my hands on that mysterious charred wood?"

He silently pondered a strategy.

Two mid-level Foundation Establishnt cultivators, along with a well-prepared early-stage Foundation Establishnt cultivator, joined forces. Even with the advantage of the ho field, the special Phoenix wood gradually couldn't withstand their attacks.

"Whew..."

A mournful cry sounded, and the gigantic dark golden Firebird transford into scattered flas. A pair of illusory Phoenixes shot out from it, piercing through the fiery clouds and diving into the charred wood.

The thick fiery clouds showed signs of dispersing.

"Now is the ti!"

Suppressing his inner excitent, Lu Xuan transford into a floating light and flew towards the location of the charred wood.

The other three reacted equally sharply. The handso young man opened his hands, and a giant illusory palm grabbed towards the charred wood. The elegant woman's white long ribbon instantly reached the wood's side.

Although Lu Xuan's cultivation was weaker, watching the illusory palm and the ribbon about to grab the charred wood, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration. The pale-blue light mass in his dantian rotated at the fastest speed, emitting a rich blue light. Wood source energy was a natural fit for spiritual plants.

Since the charred wood was a high-quality special spiritual species, it was likely to be attracted by the wood source energy.

Sure enough, the struggling charred wood, sensing the rich wood aura emanating from Lu Xuan below, instantly exuded a layer of dark golden light on the surface. Its speed increased several tis, breaking through the encirclent of the handso young man and the elegant woman, piercing through the giant net, and landing in Lu Xuan's hands.

Only then did Lu Xuan have the opportunity to closely examine the charred wood.

The charred wood was a little over a foot long, about three inches wide, with many fine dark golden cracks on the surface, resembling marks left by intense flas.

In the central area, nurous tiny cracks ford a dark golden pattern, remarkably similar to the previously seen dark golden Firebird. With wings spread, it appeared as if it were soaring.

Feeling the rich wood source energy from Lu Xuan, the dark golden pattern flickered with a spiritual light, as if undergoing subtle changes, looking vivid and ready to co to life.

"Junior Brother Lu, could you give this piece of charred wood to ?"

"This is the main target for my entry into the Blessed Land. It holds great significance for . If you can bear to part with it, I will surely offer you a satisfactory reward."

The handso young cultivator, with a calm deanor on the surface but bleeding internally, landed gracefully in front of Lu Xuan and spoke gently.

Although he appeared composed, internally, he was in anguish. After all the preparations and efforts, collaborating with the other two, they thought obtaining the Phoenix wood was almost a sure thing. Unexpectedly, it fell into Lu Xuan's hands at the last mont.

How could he endure such a situation? With his current attitude, he already showed considerable restraint.

"Senior Brother wants this dark and mysterious wood? Under normal circumstances, it wouldn't be impossible."

Lu Xuan turned the charred wood in his hands, changing the topic.

"But this piece of charred wood suddenly fell into my hands, indicating a deep connection between us. Giving it away would be against the will of the heavens."

"Moreover, it's just a piece of charred wood. This palace contains nurous high-grade spiritual minerals and fire spirits. Senior Brother can focus on those."

He spoke calmly.

This piece of charred wood could alert a fifth-grade Demon Ghost Vine from such a distance. It was undoubtedly extraordinary. Lu Xuan casually found a reason to politely decline the handso young man's offer.

"Well, Junior Brother Lu, how about exchanging this charred wood with a rare third-grade flying sword I have? What do you think?"

The young man took out a golden long sword from his storage bag, a hint of urgency in his voice.

Not far away, the elegant woman and the ordinary young man silently approached, standing on either side of the young man, subtly showing signs of encircling Lu Xuan.

"Sorry, Senior Brother, I'm not interested in anything else except spiritual plants. This piece of charred wood piques my curiosity, and I won't exchange it for any other treasures."

Seeing the situation, Lu Xuan took two steps back, his tone firm.

"Junior Brother Lu, the three of us are all direct disciples of a Nascent Soul realm elder in the sect. You recently advanced to the Foundation Establishnt stage. Are

you sure you want to have an unpleasant encounter with us three?"

The elegant woman spoke coldly.

"Is Senior Sister threatening ?"

The rotation speed of the black sword rays on Lu Xuan's body quietly increased.
