Following him closely, his assistant asked, “What do we do now?”
Lu Nanze squinted and paused. He gave an icy laughter before instructing, “Book a ticket back to Suzhou.”
The assistant was dumbstruck. “Are we going back right now?”
Lu Nanze lowered his gaze, saying, “The gentleman knows not to place himself in a dangerous position. Just as he knows this, I do too.”
He gave an icy smile.
Qiao Lian, I shall wait for you in Suzhou.
