Chapter 147 - The Sensations

"Well, we are gathered here after a long ti." Dante walked toward the two figures—a man and a woman—who were sitting on tal chairs, their breathing heavy.

"We are not going to beg for rcy..."

"Shut up, sister, let do the talking."

Dante looked at the pair of siblings with an icy glint in his eyes and said, "Well, you two... What do you think now that your lives are in my hands? Diego, I found out that your plan was to blow yourself up along with many of my soldiers."

At that mont, his face showed a mix of bitterness and resentnt. "Who would have thought you were more than just a distributor for Felipe Lobos? I didn’t learn the truth until your soldiers stord my mansion and massacred all the hitn I had prepared!"

Diego, who had spoken those words, spat out bloody saliva, trying to stain Dante, who was just a few feet away. However, the little strength he had left prevented him from succeeding.

"In this life, we placed our bets and lost. As the winner, you should just end this quickly," Alicia said, looking at Dante with murderous intent. She knew it would be useless to plead for rcy from a man who clearly intended to kill them.

Diego looked at Dante more clearly now that he had stepped closer.

"Alright, gentlen..."

As Dante moved even closer, he put on a pair of black leather gloves. Then, he adjusted the lights in the room to brighten slightly.

"My na is Dante!"

"And why the hell should we care?!"

"Who the fuck are you, and why the hell are we tied up right now? Dante, you’re screwed once my people find out I’m here."

Dante showed an emotionless smile. His gaze was cold, but his lips curled upward, forming a wide grin. He looked at Diego, who was sitting before him, and said, "You should care because you’ve been attacking my organization with the help of other pieces of trash... trash I’ll be burying later."

"Wow, don’t waste our ti. Are you filming a movie or sothing?" Alicia eyed him, unimpressed by his calm deanor.

"What do we do, Alicia?" Diego, sitting across from Alicia, was terrified. He had woken up in this room without any mory of how he got there. But Alicia wasn’t in a much better state—she rembered losing consciousness and then waking up in this place.

"You better not say a damn word!"

But Dante couldn’t have cared less. Sooner or later, he would find out whatever he wanted, and nothing these two could do would stop him.

"Interesting..."

"What did you say?" Diego locked eyes with Dante, refusing to look away.

Dante, on the other hand, took out a knife and said, "I usually don’t kill my enemies with my own hands, but since you know my na and have seen my face, you must die."

"Then what the hell are you waiting for?" Alicia asked angrily.

"I have just one question for both of you. If your answer is satisfactory, I’ll let one of you live." Dante still had doubts about who the Twelve Monkeys were and what they wanted from him.

"I accept..." Diego knew that the only way for Dante to let one of them live was if he got sothing in return.

"We’re not answering any questions." But Alicia didn’t seem convinced about giving in to the enemy.

Diego looked at his sister and warned, "Don’t talk."

"He’s lying. Obviously, he’ll kill us the mont we answer his questions," Alicia said with certainty.

"Are you sure about that?" Dante asked, holding a long knife.

"Of course, I am."

"Hmm, then I suppose you haven’t heard of the biggest trafficker in Europe and how his entire empire fell into my hands. Thanks to that, the man now gets to enjoy fine wines." Dante referred to the man who had once been an enemy of the Glass family.

So might think leaving certain enemies alive was a mistake, but the only reason for doing so was the absolute confidence that no one could touch him.

The closest anyone had co to harming them was these Jiménez siblings, but even then, in less than a month, they were sitting before him, waiting for death.

"Don’t listen to my sister. Ask your questions and let her live." Diego wanted to save his sister.

"Don’t answer his questions."

Dante didn’t have to say anything before several people entered the room and drugged Alicia.

"Alright, now that Alicia is asleep, tell —how did the Twelve Monkeys contact you, and what do you know about their organization?" This was the only enemy he wasn’t sure about—whether they were just a source in the United States.

"Looks like they’re giving you a hard ti!"

Dante’s expression turned cold, and he looked over at Crocodile, who nodded and handed a pair of pliers. "I just want to know one thing—how many are involved?"

Without waiting for an answer, he approached the woman sitting across from Diego and said, "Hold her head steady!"

"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?! If you hurt her, I swear I’ll kill you and cut you into a thousand pieces."

"Alicia, right? I’ll start with her front teeth, so there won’t be much blood at first. But as I move toward her molars, the infection, hemorrhaging, and pain will spread to her brain!"

"No, please! I’ll tell you what you want, just don’t hurt her!"

"No, I want you to keep playing gas."

"No, please! The Twelve Monkeys are twelve sources who joined forces to kill you."

"Twelve sources?" Dante set his tools aside, walked toward Diego, and pressed a knife against his chest. "Do you know these sources?"

"Of course not. I only know that there are Russians among them. They contacted —surely you yourself created enemies you never completely eliminated."

Dante fell into deep thought. He imagined many possibilities and only recalled taking over the city that once belonged to Viggo Tarasov, who had long since been dead.

But that didn’t an the Russian mafia was entirely gone—they still held significant power in Russia.

It was true that the assassin John Wick had been wiping out the Russians in the U.S., but that didn’t an they wouldn’t retaliate.

"Is Viggo’s brother still in the U.S.?" Dante turned his gaze to Crocodile, who handled certain matters to lighten William’s workload.

Crocodile thought for a mont and said, "Mr. Wick has been exterminating the Tarasov family all over the U.S. We’ve taken over their businesses. It wouldn’t be surprising if they mistakenly believe we employed John Wick to seize their operations."

"But the story about the dog is the real reason..." murmured Diego, who had heard tales of John Wick and how he had co out of retirent to destroy the Russian mafia after they killed his dog.

"Yeah, well, the Russians aren’t buying that story..."

"I’ll have to speak with Viggo’s brother about this," Dante said, lost in thought.

Before Viggo’s death, Dante and SAMCRO had maintained a good trade relationship. They respected each other’s businesses, and there was no conflict of interest.

But when Viggo died, Dante struck a deal with Felipe Lobos and began taking over the territories that had once belonged to the Tarasov family.

"Hey, is that it?" Diego didn’t understand what was happening.

Dante turned to Diego and said, "I’ll follow the trail from there... Next, I’ll cut off the head in xico."

"Huh?"

...

Outside the room, screams and curses echoed nonstop. So soldiers exchanged glances but chose to remain silent.

The legends about Dante were terrifyingly dark, and those who beca his enemies suffered the worst fates.

Crocodile, who had just stepped out of the room, walked toward the improvised command area and told the officer in charge, "William, these are the orders we need to follow in the coming days."

William took the paper and said, "Oh, you’ll get those answers as soon as the drug traffickers agree to the eting."

But just as Crocodile was about to crack a joke, a chilling roar echoed through the building.

"NOOOOO!"
