"Chen Huangpi, what did you do to ?"

The brass oil lamp shook its dog head, horrified to find that it was actually barking.

"That's not important!!"

Chen Huangpi and the brass oil lamp had mastered the Dog Rearing Scripture, and their minds were connected.

The Dog Rearing Scripture had an upper and lower scroll.

Chen Huangpi practiced the upper scroll, the master.

The brass oil lamp practiced the lower scroll, the running dog.

However, at this mont, he naturally had no ti to explain.

The transformation of Chen Huangpi and the brass oil lamp was too sudden.

Whether it was the evil god, the other four deities, or Twelfth Madam and Granny Tang, all were stunned.

However, this change was only for an instant.

Although Twelfth Madam and the three deities were unaware of the details, they imdiately seized this opportunity.

"Attack!!!"

Flying swords, nail hamrs, and a Geomantic Divine Compass appeared around Twelfth Madam.

The wooden temple rose from the ground and floated above her head.

Wisps and streams of incense qi drilled out of the temple, divided into three parts, and entered the bodies of the three deities.

One deity held a bamboo slip and pointed downwards.

The earth suddenly bulged high.

The surging yellow mud was blocked.

One deity opened its bloody maw and blew hard, and a fierce wind suddenly rose from the flat ground.

The next second, the yellow mud rolled back like a suspended river.

The last deity snorted coldly.

A clap of thunder exploded.

The mud people controlled by the evil god all let out a miserable cry, and along with the evil god, they all exploded.

However, this evil god had been polluted by the yellow mud and was impossible to kill.

After exploding, large swathes of yellow mud scattered in all directions.

"Mountain God, help !"

Granny Tang, possessed by the deity, threw out the staff in her hand, which was empowered by the mountain god's strength. In the blink of an eye, it grew with the wind, turning into a towering tree that blocked most of the yellow mud.

However, when the yellow mud splashed on the tree ford by the staff, it was like magma. In the blink of an eye, the entire tree collapsed, completely corroded.

"Wah..."

Granny Tang's face was pale, and a mouthful of yellowish blood imdiately spewed from her mouth.

At the sa ti, the fox mountain god that had possessed her also spat out a mouthful of divine blood. Before the divine blood could hit the ground, it turned into yellow mud.

The mud seed to have a life of its own.

In the blink of an eye, it gathered together.

The mountain god, covered in yellow mud, once again erged from the mud.

It was simply unkillable!

Moreover, the surroundings were already covered in yellow mud. Wherever the mud passed, it was a deep abyss, a hell. Touching it would lead to pollution.

"It has already taken shape. If it seizes the temple, it will beco a Yellow Peril!"

The deities all warned the cultivators.

"Run, run as far as you can!"

Chen Huangpi also heard the voices of the deities.

However, he had long known that this evil god was unkillable, and he didn't think the four deities could protect them.

"Huang Er, listen to my command!"

Chen Huangpi leaped onto the back of the yellow dog that the brass oil lamp had transford into. The latter couldn't even be bothered to curse. Under the urging of the Dog Rearing Scripture, it bared its teeth and roared.

The sound was not like a dog's bark.

It was mixed with a certain demonic nature.

"Fire, co!!!"

Chen Huangpi and the brass oil lamp's minds were one. He unleashed the power that originally belonged to the latter. The essence qi that was constantly circulating between his two kidneys to forge the kidney temple was all drawn out and poured into the latter's body.

The brass oil lamp's dog body continued to expand.

Its throat swelled, and a stream of bright yellow flas shot out with a boom.

The evil god stared at the brass oil lamp, its expression changing. It instantly rolled up a stream of yellow mud and pounced.

However, the flas were not a cultivator's true fire.

It was the lamp fire of the brass oil lamp. Plus, with Chen Huangpi's essence qi from his two kidneys constantly urging the Dog Rearing Scripture, the lamp fire beca even more strange.

The yellow mud, upon contact with the lamp fire, instantly solidified, falling to the ground as if it had turned into ordinary mud.

"Huang Er! Give it a fierce one!"

Chen Huangpi shouted, and the essence qi between his two kidneys dissipated like water being released.

The brass oil lamp, transford into a large dog, its eyes burning with golden fire, opened its mouth and spat a huge fla at the evil god!

The mud on the latter's body instantly solidified.

Everyone's hearts filled with joy.

But in the next second, the solidified mud sculpture on the evil god cracked, and countless streams of yellow mud poured out from within.

"Not good, let's go!"

Chen Huangpi urged anxiously.

Huang Er directly spat out a fla that was one person wide and over a hundred ters long. Wherever it passed, not a single flower, grass, or tree was damaged. Instead, it burned a dirt path through the endless, sea-like abyss of yellow mud.

In the blink of an eye, one person and one dog disappeared into the darkness.

"Quick, quick, follow him!"

Granny Tang shouted to the few remaining remnants.

The remnants, as if waking from a dream, hurriedly fled along the yellow mud path that had been burned dry by the lamp fire.

As for the cultivators brought by Twelfth Madam, they did the sa.

This was a battle between deities and an evil god.

They had no right to participate.

Twelfth Madam did not stop them, because she couldn't get past at all. The evil god's target was the temple that housed the deities above her head. How could it give her a chance to escape?

The three deities' expressions were also ugly.

They were all cultivators who had reached the Nascent Soul realm and could not advance further, so they could only beco deities.

This temple was their dao field and their foundation.

It was important, but not sothing that couldn't be abandoned.

It was just a matter of starting over.

However, if they dared to abandon the temple now, the evil god would imdiately occupy it. At that point, it would beco a Yellow Peril, and they would no longer have a chance to resist. It was even possible that the mont the latter moved into the temple, the deities who hadn't had ti to sever their connection would be polluted by it.

"Granny Tang!"

Twelfth Madam gritted her teeth and shouted, "Invite your mountain god into the temple. Life or death, it's up to our own abilities!"

The gate of the temple above the Nascent Soul instantly opened.

Granny Tang did not hesitate in the slightest.

Or rather, her will was the mountain god's will.

The yellow fox deity statue turned into a stream of light and plunged straight into the temple.

The temple was a world of its own. In the main hall where the deities were worshipped, the three deity statues trembled, making way for a small area for the mountain god to move in.

In addition, there was a cultivator who looked exactly like Twelfth Madam sitting cross-legged on the ground.

Granny Tang was sowhat astonished.

She recognized that it was Twelfth Madam's true body, which ant that the Twelfth Madam outside was actually a Nascent Soul.

A Nascent Soul the sa size as her true body.

This Twelfth Madam had clearly also cultivated to the end of the Nascent Soul realm.

The temple trembled!

The mont the deity statue moved in, wisps of incense qi rushed out of the temple.

The mountain god phantom behind Granny Tang opened its mouth and sucked hard, and a stream of incense qi entered its mouth.

The mountain god recovered a breath of vital energy.

The sky was already half-bright, revealing the fish-belly white of dawn.

A certain obscure, inexplicable great power was gradually awakening.

All evil entities would be suppressed by that great power.

Including this evil god that had not yet beco a Yellow Peril.

This was the only chance!

"Heave-ho!"

"One, two, three, four, already in the pot!"

The evil god suddenly grinned ferociously, shaking its head like a scholar.

"What?"

Twelfth Madam was stunned.

Granny Tang's heart also pounded.

Although she only had Golden Core cultivation, she had served a deity for many years. Unlike a pure cultivator like Twelfth Madam, her spiritual sense was often sharp.

At this mont, an image suddenly flashed in her mind.

Before dawn, the evil god had first stepped into the deities' protection range by taking advantage of the earth dragon turning over. Twelfth Madam was tainted by the yellow mud and only survived by using a peach wood doll as a substitute.

At that ti, everyone just thought that was the extent of the evil god's thods.

But earlier, Granny Tang, possessed by the mountain god, had only resisted the yellow mud mobilized by the evil god for a mont without any substantial contact, and was almost polluted.

But Twelfth Madam had really touched the yellow mud.

A peach wood doll could substitute for death, but could it substitute for Twelfth Madam being tainted by the yellow mud?

Granny Tang's thoughts were just turning, but the mountain god possessing her body was controlling her to scream in terror.

"Quick, quick, open the temple gates, let out!!!"

The three deities also roared in terror.

"Guangqingzi, quickly open the temple gates!!!"

The wooden temple floating above Twelfth Madam's head suddenly shrank violently, like a person's stomach sucking in air, and then rapidly expanded. The temple's gates and windows all showed spots of yellow stains.

Bang bang bang!

The temple gates were being pounded on.

The true gods of the four deities, as if they had gone mad, wanted to escape from inside.

The evil god, wrapped in yellow mud, was still laughing wantonly.

Four deities, plus a temple.

It wanted them all!

"I will take over the temple and beco a Yellow Peril. From now on, I will not eat the incense of the human world, but will feed on deities."

"Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!"

Twelfth Madam's face beca extrely ugly.

Granny Tang shouted anxiously, "Madam, quickly open the temple gates."

Twelfth Madam said, "I... I..."

She kept trying to urge the temple to open its gates.

But there was no reaction at all. The temple was already out of control, or rather, it was now being controlled by her true body, which had beco a puppet of the evil god.

The four deities were already in the pot.

There was no escape.

Granny Tang and Twelfth Madam's hearts were filled with a cold and uneasy feeling.

The evil god laughed loudly, completely ignoring the two of them. With a wave of its hand, the temple flew in front of it and landed heavily on the ground.

The evil god took a deep breath, and four streams of incense, like rolling smoke, entered its nose and mouth.

"Fragrant, so fragrant!"

"Slurp..."

It was the sound of slurping saliva.

Granny Tang and Twelfth Madam stared at the evil god. Was it going to eat the four deities?

The evil god, however, looked behind it with a blank expression.

The sound of slurping saliva ca from the darkness.

Just then, a great sun rose from the horizon, and the light rapidly swept across, dispelling the darkness.

In the evil god's mud-filled pupils, it saw a figure.

Dressed in a white Daoist robe, its mouth wide open, saliva dripping onto its collar, looking at it as if it were so delicious food.

"Fragrant, so fragrant!"

The mountain god's terrified scream suddenly sounded in Granny Tang's mind.

"It's him, that evil entity is him!!!"

...

On the other side.

Chen Huangpi rode the brass oil lamp, rapidly traversing the mountain forest where dawn and night intertwined.

Behind him were the remnants, scrambling to follow him for survival.

Further behind, a rumbling sound echoed, as if a mountain was collapsing.

No, it wasn't a mountain collapsing.

It was the yellow dragon turning over.

The earth shook, and streams of yellow mud spewed from the cracks in the ground.

Chen Huangpi activated the Dog Rearing Scripture and shouted, "Fire, co!"

Whoosh!!!

A stream of bright yellow lamp fire, before the yellow mud could even erge, had already covered it.

The lamp fire of the brass oil lamp was extrely strange.

The yellow mud was directly burned until it solidified.

Then, Chen Huangpi urged Huang Er again, and it spat out a tongue of fire backward, reinforcing the yellow mud path they had co from.

The lamp fire couldn't destroy the yellow mud, it could only temporarily solidify it. It would soon return to its original state.

"Chen Huangpi, don't worry about them!"

The brass oil lamp let out a series of barks.

"I don't have much lamp oil in my belly. If you keep wasting it like this, when that evil god becos a Yellow Peril and cos to kill us, we'll both be finished!"

"I know!!!"

Chen Huangpi pursed his lips and glanced back at the remnants.

Granny Tang was a good granny.

In the place protected by the deities, she had accepted Chen Huangpi and given him a place to stay.

That's why he didn't mind helping these remnants.

"I can't help you anymore. You must run faster and not fall behind."

As he spoke, Chen Huangpi ford another hand seal and urged Huang Er.

The latter unwillingly widened its eyes, lamp fire surging in them. The golden light dispelled the surrounding darkness.

The range of the light was extrely large.

The remnants, who were already exhausted from fleeing, were instantly relieved of all their fatigue the mont the golden light shone on them. The gloom and fear in their hearts were soothed by an invisible force.

They were filled with strength and gratitude again.

"Young master, thank you for your kindness."

"I will rember this life-saving grace!"

Chen Huangpi did not respond to the remnants and directly urged Huang Er to speed up.

Because if he helped these remnants one more ti, his conscience would start to go bad.

That was not good, very not good.

A small favor is a kindness, a big favor is a grudge. He would be tempted to take back the favor.

Chen Huangpi looked up at the sky. It was already bright. He hadn't gone back to cook last night. His master must be very hungry.
