Daloric (pronounced dah-LOHR-ik) is the only known taste exclusive to Hera.

It is not related to any of the previous eleven. It is not sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami, fatty, starchy, tallic, kokumi, calcium-like, or watery.

Those who experience Daloric describe it as:

“like tasting shape”

It is not pleasant, but it is compelling.

Origins and Exclusivity

Daloric cos from a mineralized bio-crystal called mirephage, found only in deep volcanic strata on Hera.It cannot be synthesized.Native flora seems to be the only producers of Daloric with the yellow tobo fruit of the Gusabo region being the highest concentrate of the substance yet discovered.

EYNIOBB scientists attempted to infuse Daloric into Bug Bars, hoping to enhance soldier performance or prestige.

It was a disaster.
