733: Chapter 94 Did It Really Succeed?

_1 733: Chapter 94 Did It Really Succeed?

_1 As Pannis’s voice faded, Vivian finally woke from a deep sleep.

Just as her consciousness returned, but before her body was fully awakened, the young Mage felt a strange sensation.

It felt as though she was imrsed in a warm bath.

Rather than feeling suffocated or confined, it was a comforting warmth, like being back in a mother’s womb…

deep and inviting, tempting her to sink back into sleep.

Subrged in warm water?

Realization sparkled in Vivian’s mind as she initially felt numbness recede and tactile sensation return.

The feeling was painfully familiar, reminiscent of sensations from decades ago.

The warm ‘water’ gently pressured every inch of her skin, as if she was receiving a gentle massage.

“Is this…

my sense of feeling?

And it isn’t painful?” Exhilaration caused Vivian to tremble from head to toe.

She then discovered that she could even move her body, the control wasn’t just limited to the muscles of her face anymore.

Every muscle in her body tingled in unison – an experience she had been deprived of for years.

Such an intimate feeling, yet so foreign.

After her initial surprise, Vivian started to co to her senses from the long sleep and opened her eyes.

The light was dim, indicating that she was still in the healing device with its closed lid blocking the exterior light.

Thoughtfully, the goblins had installed a dim light within the box to avoid disorientation after the treatnt.

Through the faint light, she realized she was indeed imrsed in a liquid.

It wasn’t water, but a special substance that allowed her to breathe freely.

She could feel the liquid slowly retreating, exposing a part of her body to the cold, dry air.

Vivian concentrated and heard sounds from outside the device cover filtering in.

Recognizing a slightly hoarse voice led her to break into a warm smile.

It was Lina’s voice reciting her daily prayer.

The familiarity was because Lina recited it every day.

Despite its brevity, the prayer was repeated continuously to the point of Lina straining her voice.

Vivian knew that in this situation, Lina’s endless praying was for her healing.

It was Lina’s unique way of contributing to Vivian’s survival.

The following sounds were a small disagreent between Freya and Catherine.

They disagreed on when to use the device.

Catherine insisted on waiting until Vivian was fully awake and then opening it from the inside to avoid any potential harm.

Freya, on the other hand, argued that since Ava had said the treatnt was over, the cover could be opened.

This would save unnecessary ti and prevent potential injuries in the dark.

As Vivian was eavesdropping, she noticed a sudden brightness before her.

She discovered a hidden Crystal plate inside the healing device cover that lit up displaying Ava’s image, “It seems you’re awake, congratulations.”

Ava’s voice was still monotone, reminding Vivian of machinery, yet it sounded warm to Vivian.

Seeing Vivian’s smile, Ava blinked with surprise but continued, “You were in a critical condition, but you overca it.

You’re considered a normal person now.”

With a ‘click,’ the healing device’s cover opened amidst Freya and Catherine’s argunt.

The three girls hurried to the device, their eyes nervously peeking inside.

They saw Vivian, smiling but with uncontrollable tears streaming down her face.

At that instant, Catherine felt dizzy and had to lean on the heal device’s wall for support.

She wanted to ask sothing but was unable to voice her words.

After a few attempts, she finally stamred with a shaky voice, “Y-you…

you’re awake?

How do you feel?

Do you feel unwell anywhere?

The device’s alarms went off, Ava said you might not survive the last treatnt step.

But you seem stable now even though your condition was fluctuating.

Do you feel better?

Can you hear ?”

Peering through the narrow therapeutic cabin, Vivian saw Catherine’s face.

Her complexion was ashen, yet her facial expression was one of extre joy and disbelief – characteristics of survivors once the danger had passed.

She extended her trembling hands to touch Vivian’s cheeks, but retreated halfway, fearing that it could all turn out to be a re dream and physical contact could shatter the illusion.

“Sister…” For the first ti in over a decade, Vivian spoke using her own strength.

Her voice sounded strange, and it was difficult for her to speak, but it was indeed her voice, “I had a very long dream.”

“Hmm, it’s all in the past, now you’re awake.” Catherine wiped the tears from her cheeks, choking back emotion as she nodded, “Let’s treat the past pain as just a dream.

Now, let’s both embrace the new life.”

“Silly sister.” Vivian noticed that since waking up she always can’t suppress the smile on her face, “I’m not sighing, I an it was real.

I had a very long dream while I was being treated, I dread of us when we were kids, when you used to wear long skirts and dresses.”

“That ti?” Catherine blinked, revealing a nostalgic smile from her mories.

She whispered “I also rember that little girl who always stayed at ho.”

“I suddenly thought of sothing, sister.” Vivian spoke softly, but clearly, “I just realized, you being so nice to after our parents died, taking on the responsibility of looking after , could it be because you thought you jinxed with your words that I would fall ill and beco bedridden, and felt guilty that I really did fall ill?”

“Did I say sothing like that when we were kids?” Catherine tilted her head in confusion, “I don’t rember.”

“Never mind, it was just sothing from a dream.” Vivian laughed and shook her head, “I want to get out now.”

“Okay, I’ll help you up.” Catherine helped Vivian to sit upright from the healing device.

Despite the faintness of it, the young knight could feel Vivian’s own strength.

“Thank you, elder sister.” Vivian pushed Catherine gently with a slight exertion of strength, “Let try to stand up on my own.”

With hesitation, Catherine let go of Vivian.

The young Mage seed to enjoy the feeling of standing on her own strength.

She hung her head in enjoynt for a mont, and just as she was about to move, she felt a wave of dizziness and helplessly fell into the arms of Catherine who had anxiously co forward.
