1317: Chapter 103: Dissatisfied Girls 1317: Chapter 103: Dissatisfied Girls “Indeed, the queen would not concede so easily.” Pannis pressed his temples in frustration, groaning as he said, “That must be what she ntioned in her letter to you as well.”

“No, you’re mistaken.

In the letter, she rely inford us of your plan.” Catherine said with a sly, triumphant smile, like a victor, “Actually, even if she didn’t tell us, I could have guessed your plan.

Do you rember the day we got back to the Elven Royal Court, you went out in the afternoon to et Her Majesty Flare?

After that, I didn’t ask you about the Undead War anymore, nor did anyone else.

Didn’t you find that strange?”

“Of course, I found it strange, but I thought you all were so clever that you must have guessed part of it, which is why you didn’t ask .” Pannis said with a bitter smile, “You not asking was a relief I hadn’t even had ti to enjoy.

Even though I knew there was a problem, I couldn’t possibly just reveal it voluntarily.”

“Hehe, there indeed was a problem, because that very evening, I had secretly t with Her Majesty Flare.” Catherine suddenly stopped speaking and turned to the few spectators eagerly watching, “Generals and officers, we have a small private matter to settle with Mr.

Kyle here, could we trouble everyone to…

“It’s going to turn into an oven here soon.

It’d be better to change the location.” General Dreide, completely fitting her youthful characteristics, eagerly watching, her eyes gleaming with excitent.

Hearing Catherine’s request, the General struggled to suppress the urge to refuse and said regretfully, “I will take you to the conference room.

It’s cooler there and definitely empty.”

“That is much appreciated.” Catherine responded with the standard knight’s courtesy, gratefully saying, “You have really saved us so trouble this ti.”

“Suddenly, I think I’m better off searching for an oasis instead, pursuing such illusory hopes is the romance of n.” Pannis thought of the terrifying possibility that the two won he was most helpless against might have already put aside their disputes to form a solid alliance, the more he thought about it, the more his head hurt, eager to leave the place.

However, just as he turned to leave, he found he could not escape—the ivory-like delicate hands were tightly grasping the hem of his coat, and looking down, he saw Ava looking up at him, her normally emotionless large blue eyes strangely carrying a hint of rare grievance, as if silently accusing him: are you going to abandon again?

His face twitched continuously, and he could only manage a helpless, bitter smile: “Fine, let the oasis be damned.”

“Yay,” a sudden burst of cheer startled everyone around, Pannis silently watched the two cheering girls, Lina and Freya high-fiving in celebration, their cheers filled with the joy of victory, the proud princess exclaid, “I told you, the impact of such a stark contrast, even a heart carved from stone wouldn’t bear to refuse.”

“Haha, exactly.” The priest girl gave Ava a thumbs up, praising, “Well done, Ava, all that mimicking you did on the ship wasn’t in vain, absolutely perfect.”

The artificial girl Ava had already regained her usual expressionless face, standing still, but her white hands were still tightly clinging to Pannis’s hem, not letting go.

“Both of you, idiots, did you really think it was just mimicking?” The bedridden mage girl disdainfully glared at the two celebrating fools, seeing Pannis vigorously nodding in agreent, she couldn’t help but clenched her teeth and cursed, “And you, you’re the biggest idiot of all, what do you think of us?

Damn Pannis.”

“Eh?

Weren’t you scolding them?” Before Pannis could even profess his innocence, his words were swallowed back by Vivian’s fierce glare, continuously nodding, “Yes, yes, you’re right, geez, how can an alchemist beco as grumpy as an Elent mage, has the world’s rules changed?

No, no, I said nothing, I an, you’re right, damn Pannis, Pannis is a damn.”

“Hmm,” the mage girl huffed heavily, grabbed Ava by the hand, and turned to leave, “Ava, let’s go, don’t stick around these idiots, you’ll get infected.”

“Um, Vivian,” Pannis could not hold back any longer and, raising his voice, he called out to the fuming young mage as she stord toward the barracks, “I just want to ask you, do you know where the eting room is?

You couldn’t find it without General Aide leading the way, could you?”

“You, you…” Vivian halted in her tracks, her body slowly turning like a rusted puppet, her overcast expression could easily scare a child, she ground her teeth and said syllable by syllable, “Big idiot, go die, just die, die, die.”

Cone-shaped hellfire burst from the tip of the young girl’s raised magic staff, crystallizing the sand it touched.

As the primary target of the flas, Pannis scread and ran around Catherine and the Elven female general to avoid the blaze, until Catherine could no longer stand his shouts and kicked him down onto the sandy ground.

“Serves him right.” This was the unanimous verdict of all the young ladies, their almost tangible resentnt radiating from them, which even General Dreide, who knew nothing of the matter, could feel.

“I think I understand why you ca in two groups now,” the female general nodded thoughtfully, “Little guy, though you ant well, leaving these girls who care so much about you is simply an unforgivable sin.”

“Hey, Aunt Aide,” Pannis rubbed his waist and said while lying on the ground, “we’ve been friends for over a hundred years, and at a ti like this, you actually take their side.”

“Of course, while I may look like this, I am still a woman at heart,” the General caressed the scar on her face and spoke softly, “No matter what, I still have a woman’s heart.

I can completely understand their feelings, so of course, I am on their side.”

“A woman?

Hahahaha!” Pannis burst into laughter suddenly, “A woman’s heart, hahaha, Aunt Aide, you’re getting better at telling jokes…

Hey, are you trying to kill soone?”

“You little guy, you’re becoming less and less adorable,” Dreide drew a second arrow and notched it on the bowstring, her gaze as nacing as a starved magical beast in the wild, “It looks like I need to teach you a lesson again.”

“Whoosh,” the mont the arrow flew, both people, along with the flying arrow, vanished from the spot, entering into their personal domains.

“How is this guy still alive?” Knowing that the two weren’t actually going to fight to the death, the officers weren’t anxious at all and even had ti to discuss in low voices, “If I talked like that, I probably would have been beaten to death not long after I was born.”

“Heh, he just doesn’t know how to face and needs so ti to cool down,” behind the discussing officers, Catherine fidgeted with her bar as she said with a smile, “But he still doesn’t understand that what must be faced, will always need to be faced.”
