Chapter 57: Chapter 57: Let Her Suck

"Go to the inner circle eting at dawn," Kai instructed, keeping his voice low so the passing waiters would not hear.

"Tell them everything you know. Give them the vampire supply routes, the hidden operation in the village, and the infiltration list. Use Mira’s na to get through the door, and do not take no for an answer."

Eevy frowned deeply, her eyes searching his face.

"And if they do not listen to ?"

"Then you have to make them listen sohow," Kai said flatly.

As he watched her process the orders, Kai thought about the world’s tiline.

’The first stage of the ga is about to start,’ he thought to himself.

In his original ga, the story started with the protagonist’s family getting slaughtered by the vampires marching toward the outer walls.

That specific tragedy was how the whole ga started.

The revenge toward his family’s killers was what kept the original hero moving forward.

The original protagonist spent the entire storyline fucking every species he saw and then brutally killing them to gain more power.

Ultimately, the final boss of that bloody path was Millenia Raviel.

But stopping the vampire army before they even hit the capital changed everything.

’I could change the ga’s flow right here,’ he thought to himself.

’If I stop the vanguard early, the tragedy never happens, and the original tiline shatters.’

Eevy reached out and grabbed his wrist.

Her grip was tight and desperate.

"Kai."

He looked down at her hand, understanding what she was silently asking him.

She wanted him to walk away from the succubus.

"I know," he said softly.

She turned around and walked toward the exit without looking back.

Kai stood in the shadows and watched her until the shifting crowd swallowed her up.

He had his path, and she had hers.

Kai left the Duke’s estate a few minutes later.

He followed Millenia’s instructions and made his way to the upper district alone.

Her residence sat at the end of a very quiet street.

It was a tall, narrow building that looked quite modest from the outside. It blended in perfectly with the normal rchant hos.

But the mont Kai stepped through the front door, the space opened up into an enormous interior. It was a clever architectural illusion designed to hide her true wealth from the neighbours.

The staff inside the house bothered him right away. The servants moved far too quietly across the rugs, and they did not quite blink right.

Their eyes were fixed and empty, lacking any real human spark. Kai kept a running tally in his head as he followed a silent maid up the stairs.

He clocked four of them as mind-controlled thralls before he even reached the main sitting room on the second floor.

The sitting room was decorated with dark wood and plush velvet.

Millenia stood near a small table holding a crystal decanter. She poured two glasses of wine herself rather than calling a servant into the room.

"You counted them," Millenia said.

She turned around and handed him a glass.

"Four thralls," Kai replied.

He took the wine but did not drink it.

"There are probably more hiding in the lower floors."

"Six," she corrected him smoothly.

"The cook and the groundskeeper are under my control as well."

She walked over to an armchair and settled into the cushions with perfect ease. The red dress draped beautifully over the furniture. She looked up at him over the rim of her glass.

"Does that frighten you?" she asked.

"It tells

I am not a prisoner," Kai said.

He remained standing near the door, keeping his escape routes open.

"Because if I were a prisoner, you would have used them to restrain

already."

She smiled.

"Smart."

She crossed her legs and took a delicate sip of her wine.

"So here is my proposal, Kai. The vampire army moving toward the capital is not mine. Those soldiers belong to the Eastern Bloodline. They are a rival faction I have been at war with for sixty years."

Kai lowered his glass.

’Huh?’

"They are using the capital’s political chaos to push through the borders," Millenia continued.

"I want them stopped."

"You want

to stop them," Kai clarified.

"I want us to stop them," she said softly.

"I have resources in this city. You have the Devouring Seed, and you apparently possess the instincts of soone who has seen this exact kind of war before."

A long pause settled over the quiet room.

Millenia studied his face closely, searching for any cracks in his confident mask.

"But here is the problem," Millenia added.

"Where are you actually from, Kai? And please do not say the Southern Provinces, because your accent is fascinating and entirely unplaceable."

"Sowhere far," he said simply.

She accepted this non-answer for now and did not push him for details, which only proved how patient she could be.

A familiar blue light flickered in his vision, illuminating the dark space between them.

Millenia set her glass down. She stood up from her armchair and walked slowly across the rug toward him.

The crimson dress hugged her busty figure perfectly as she closed the distance between them.

Kai sat back in the leather chair near the window to hold his ground.

He watched her approach, keeping his muscles tense and ready to react.

"So...," Millenia whispered, stopping right between his knees.

"We have an alliance now. But alliances require a show of trust. I want to feed on you."

Before he could give her an answer, she shifted her weight and straddled his thighs.

She sat right down on his lap. Kai gripped her hips instinctively to steady her, and a quick spike of surprise hit him.

Despite her lush curves and the full breast pressed against his shirt, she weighed almost nothing at all.

It felt like holding a feather in warm silk.

’She uses magic to lighten her physical weight,’ Kai thought to himself, his hands tracing the soft fabric on her waist.

’It makes her much harder to throw off if she ever needs to fight.’

Millenia leaned forward.

Her vibrant red hair cascaded over his shoulders, creating a curtain around them. She tilted his head to the side, exposing the pulse point on his neck.

"Don’t worry," she murmured, her soft lips brushing against his skin.

"I only take what I need."

She opened her mouth, and her sharp fangs pierced his neck.

The bite did not hurt at all.

Instead, a rush of intoxicating heat flooded straight through his veins.

She drank from him slowly, shifting her hips against his lap to deepen the highly intimate connection.

Kai closed his eyes, gripping her waist tighter as the pleasure pulled at his mind.
