The dragon awakens and glares at you with anger.
“Hey! Thief! That treasure is mine!”
You may face it at the number youRecall.
Otherwise, you can try to flee by taking the princess on your back and making an Evasion Check with a difficulty of 14. Reduce this difficulty by 1 for each companion present: each one presents a potential distraction for the beast.
Each of your companions (except the princess) will also make an Evasion Check with a difficulty of 18: anyone who fails will be shredded by the dragon. Those with a partial success will only lose 1 point of Endurance and be left behind (if you manage to escape, consider them dead. Then gain 1 point of Infamyin total, and each abandoned companion will also cost you 1 point of Honor). Those who succeed completely will escape with you or stay behind if you fail to flee (except companion C7: he would then abandon you and his code C7 is replaced by E7. Moreover, his Evasion Checkdifficulty is only 10, as he is used to it…).

For your own Evasion Check: failure prevents you from fleeing and costs 1 point of Endurance. Partial success allows you to flee but still costs 1 point of Endurance. Total success lets you escape without trouble through narrow passages where the dragon cannot follow.
If you manage to escape, go to 598; otherwise (or if you do not want to abandon so of your companions and lose reputation), face your fate at the number youRecall.
