A hallway, once beautifully decorated, plunges into the mountainside. You notice that what you took for massive rocks to your right and left are actually the collapsed remains of an ancient stone door.
Then hell breaks loose.
Hordes of goblins burst from their hiding places, brandishing sharp objects they call weapons (in any case, they are dangerous). Worse: two enormous wolves accompany them, apparently well-trained. You cannot flee.
If the situation is theworst possible, the two Wolves and six Goblins face you alone, while your companions are occupied by the rest of the horde (their success depends on yours). The Wolves’ Dexterity is set to 4 as long as both are alive!
If the enemies are only alerted, the forces isolating you consist of a single wolf and three goblins.

If the enemies are not alerted, your group is not separated and you face six Goblins together (and there are no wolves). If you are alone, this number drops to 3.
You cannot flee, and these Goblins are either stupid or terrified enough to fight to the last. If you survive, go to 348.
