You quicken your pace, but suddenly, the monkey is in front of you, blocking your path. He applauds you with a mocking grin.
“Well done, well done! I don't know if it was pure luck or your intelligence, but you have triumphed over my trials. I will therefore reward your exploits.”
With an amused smile, he takes the purse hanging from his belt and his nimble fingers rummage through the gold coins inside. He pulls out a small empty jar and tosses it into the air. In a short ti, he closes the small bag and reattaches it to his belt, then catches the falling container. Pulling out three of his hairs, he puts them in his mouth. After chewing them a little, he inserts them into the jar. With a movent too swift for you to defend yourself, his clawed hand grazed you, and he spilled a few drops of your blood into the small bottle, murmuring sothing in an unknown tongue, then sealed it.

“Take this: it may co in handy if you ever find yourself short of allies. If you discard these hairs I’ve enchanted, doubles of yourself will appear and aid you in battle. Even so, rember that you are not as strong and handso as I am: avoid going straight into the dragon’s lair and instead stick to the passages on your right. It will be longer but safer for you. Oh, and also: avoid drinking or eating anything you might find there: it wouldn’t be good for your frail body. Good luck!”
With that, the monkey left you and returned to the cave. You resud your journey in 143.
Add 3 Monkey King Hairs to your Treasures. At the start of a fight, you can throw as many of these hairs as you want. Each one will create a perfect double of yourself with a single Endurance point. They will help you for the duration of the fight before disappearing.
