As you approach the village, you notice a heavy silence, occasionally broken by the cawing of crows. The wall is in ruins, and several houses appear to have been burned. As you enter the site, you better grasp the extent of the disaster: everywhere, doors and windows are smashed open, and here and there, the corpses of villagers of all ages lie scattered, already partially devoured by scavengers.
