You look around and discover a landscape unlike any other: a grim, stony plain with jagged rock formations resembling desperate hands reaching towards a gray sky swept by dust storms. The air is barely breathable, but this is not part of your ho world, nor one you would consider habitable.

Spinning around, you see glowing red eyes appear amidst the fissures and natural caves, shelters from the biting wind. Slowly, black silhouettes, shrouded in darkness, form behind the eyes as the beasts advance towards you from their hiding places.
Barely larger than cats, these creatures are nonetheless one of the most feared species across the worlds: the Chaotiuns, who once served the Mad Titan. Telepathic and possessing powers beyond imagination, they were but a minor threat among far worse in these places from which you will likely never escape.
Sensing your despair, the Beasts of Chaos lick their lips, feeding on your emotions. They decide to leave you free and alive for the ti being: it will be amusing for them to follow you on your wanderings in search of a vain hope of salvation.
