You blink, montarily blinded by the sunlight reflecting off countless tal signs. You find yourself on a wide street lined with large stone houses with red-tiled roofs. While many side streets are chaotic labyrinths, remnants of the area's long history, the main road seems to lead straight to the royal castle. High atop a hill, the fortress combines solidity and elegance. A wall divides the city in two, evidence of its considerable expansion over the years, but the gates of this second wall are open without any particular control. A guard post is stationed there so that citizens know where to go if needed.
