The Mad AI is a headache-inducing character, which the Great Governor especially resents, but overall, it hasn’t escalated to a conflict: no matter how crazy and unruly that guy is, at least as a soldier, she’s worthy of the word "loyalty."

Seventy thousand years after being decommissioned, she still rembers to charge for the General, which even makes the Great Governor pay tribute to this military spirit.

Even though now this military spirit is circling around Sandora, the sight of two planet-sized objects orbiting each other at high speed within less than half a kiloter is truly astounding—a scene that would drive at least two stadiums’ worth of astrophysicists mad if it reached Earth. Luckily, she rembered to turn on the gravity isolation system and other random barriers, or else Sandora might have kicked her into the Void. The Mad AI was just rambling to the Great Governor about splattering people with gravity when Sandora sohow "tapped" her lightly, making her settle down. From a distance, the two celestial bodies, both with significant gravitational pulls, chatted side by side, mostly with the War Song rambling on as Sandora couldn’t be bothered to respond to her.

"Speaking of which, how do you feel about this crazy guy? In all aspects,"

I stood on the Great Governor’s second antenna array, relaxing as I asked.

"Pretty good in battles, though lacking tactics, her intuition is quite accurate, and she adapts well to her new body’s complex systems. When intercepted by the enemy, it was she who promptly pulled the fleet into a world air bubble, avoiding greater losses," the Great Governor spoke with a conscientious style, offering an objective assessnt of the Mad AI, "But she’s too reckless, chaotic in combat, and even tried to ram the War Song into the enemy—her excuse was to verify the damage definition system’s robustness. Also, she’s too noisy, our public channel almost never gets a mont’s peace, as you also heard how much she talks. She occupies the high-level permission channel of the War Song, and even when I receive authorization from Her Majesty the Queen, I can only temporarily block but not close this channel."

"Ha, sothing created by Visca, it’d be strange if it were normal."

"And there’s one thing that makes most uncomfortable: she still doesn’t acknowledge loyalty to Her Majesty the Queen."

"Hmm?" My tone heightened, "Does she an she won’t listen to Sandora? Then why does she obediently co to support?"

"She said, ’This ship only pledges allegiance to the General,’" another Governor of the Revenge Fleet pinched their throat, mimicking the Mad AI’s sharp voice, "She only acknowledges General Visca’s command and coincidentally acknowledges General Visca’s brother, that is, you, as a leadership authority, while obeying Her Majesty the Queen’s orders requires two detours: General Visca listens to you, Her Majesty the Queen is your partner, so she can listen to Her Majesty the Queen—truly sothing that makes one both laugh and cry but also leaves everyone helpless."

"Looks like she’s a super stubborn one," I chuckled helplessly but wasn’t bothered, "In essence, it’s not a bad thing; after all, she was originally created by Visca, and Visca is her superior, which is unquestionable. My sister stands on the Empire’s side, and that guy’s loyalty is almost maxed out, naturally unquestionable as well."

"But anyway, being half the core of the War Song, she should at least acknowledge Her Majesty the Queen’s authority..." the Great Governor rambled on, and I didn’t respond, just observing Sandora and the War Song now floating over two hundred thousand kiloters away. The sight of two celestial bodies, each with a radius of several thousand kiloters, drifting together was terrifying: "Although I’m already accustod to the Empire’s surreal daily life, seeing my own wife turn into a light ball over five thousand kiloters in radius and still chatting with her normally, it’s indeed quite an unbelievable thing. How long will it take for Sandora to recover?"

The Great Governor pondered: "It won’t be more than half a month, maybe even less than ten days at the fastest. You don’t need to worry about Her Majesty the Queen’s current form, considering you’re talking to sothing akin to a hundred-kiloter-long coffin right now, aren’t you?"

: "..."

I didn’t say anything else; I just continued to watch the soldiers clear the battlefield.

Clearing the battlefield is quite a boring task, and there’s hardly any soldier who enjoys such chores. There’s no military rit to speak of, and it feels sowhat like cleaning toilets. However, the Servant Army is always diligent in clearing battlefields for a simple reason: it’s their best chance to enhance their personal collection. New Empire’s military regulations have specific provisions: any unowned equipnt collected or recovered by the Servant Army on the battlefield can belong to the individual if it’s single-soldier-level equipnt, and anything above that level could belong to the finder’s group. Don’t think that what you pick up from the battlefield is just akin to scrap collection; quite the opposite, often these items are as good as new. The Empire equips its regular military personnel so abundantly that any soldier can pull out an artillery group for saturation bombing. Consequently, after a battle, the number of weapons floating on the battlefield can exceed the number of participating soldiers several tis over. Even if only a tenth of these items are intact, they represent a massive fortune—for the Servant Army.

In nearly every vassal world, being able to carry an Empire Army Emblem-issued Ghost Energy Rifle is a matter of pride, although it’s quite difficult for the holders to maintain and recharge these treasures: vassal worlds generally lack the requisite technology and resources. For the military experts there, refurbishing a Ghost Energy weapon is highly technical; even just a rifle requires engineers from the military R&D institute to know how to replace its focusing crystals (of course, they’re happy to do it; no one would dare to touch the focusing crystals applied for through the Military Integration Departnt, but what’s left after replacing parts for the soldiers can be used as research material), illustrating the face value of Empire-issued equipnt in the Servant Army—and indeed, they are formidable.

In comparison, the Servant Army of the Commonwealth World is the most prestigious among the Servant Armies, even though the Military Integration Departnt theoretically provides soldiers of all vassal races with the sa level of gear, there’s still a distinction in combat effectiveness. The quality of the pilots also determines which level of equipnt they can use. Pilots of the Commonwealth Fleet use the most excellent gear, and even elite pilots can directly pilot small Empire-standard warships to battle; anyway, the Empire Army has a slight overproduction of such things. Basically, the first batch of new gear from the Military Integration Departnt goes to the Commonwealth soldiers, only after they are fully equipped does it go to other units. Many envy, but envy does no good; the Servant Army has a saying: Envy those madn? Fine, as long as you’re willing to fly your craft into the enemy’s mother ship, you can also get an identical set on return!

Only the Imperial Soldiers and Commonwealth pilots can keep a straight face while doing this, so those who envy continue to be envious.

"The landing team has reached the surface of the ’Green Star,’ and we are setting up detection devices. The surface is covered by a very hard material, and there are complex energy feedbacks below; scientists suggest not rashly breaking the Earth’s crust."

Vega’s report ca through the Spiritual Link, and I turned to look in another direction, noticing that the large debris on the green planet’s orbit had been cleared, preventing it from crashing onto the planet and possibly destroying important relics. Several non-combat spaceships were now hovering at the equator, identifiable only by one as a research ship, and the remaining two likely so kind of force field generators, with large circular rings at their tails, several crystal-like wing plates slowly rotating around them, a model I hadn’t seen before, likely so high-tech device resurrected by Taville once again.

These scientists are indeed always following right behind the main forces, almost arriving at the post-war sites alongside the subsequent troops, probably only Empire scientists would like to do this.

"Green Star" is a temporary na for the planet that the Defense Army desperately protected during the final battle. The Fallen Apostle’s attack on the Imperial Mainland was intended to destroy this inconspicuous planet. Now I finally have the ti to focus on this planet properly to see what kind of mystery it holds: reportedly capable of revealing the secrets of the "Great Enterprise"?

Vega has already led the landing troops to the surface of the Green Star. They are to directly explore this planet at the closest proximity. The mother ship in outer space seems to have encountered trouble in scanning the planet; there’s a layer of an energy shield beneath its crust strong enough to blur even the Empire-manufactured scanners. The scientist team in the space lab has been working for dozens of minutes, and they have sent so intel, helping shed so light on this inconspicuous planet.

The size of the Green Star is slightly larger than Earth, but its gravity is only four-fifths of Earth’s, possibly indicating it has a large number of hollow structures inside. It is positioned within a cloud of dust with no celestial bodies, and in a fairly large region, no remnants of star systems or constant stars were found. This suggests that the Green Star might be a rogue planet, originally a mber of a star system family, but for so reason was flung out of its original orbit and has wandered the universe for many ages before arriving at this dust cloud belt. Such rogue planets are not uncommon in outer space; given the imnse ti scales and countless star systems, various accidents might cause a planet to leave its orbit, perhaps being knocked away by a passing Dragon God or so God nad Dingdang. However, we cannot yet determine whether the cause of the Green Star’s solitary nature is human control or a result of a universal traffic accident — scientists found a gigantic circular mountain on one side of the planet, which could even be referred to as a planetary scar, but this doesn’t prove that the Green Star was hit by sothing reckless; what if it’s the socket for so primitive planetary propeller?

No oceans or other landforms were found on the Green Star, and even mountains and rivers are quite smooth, making it appear rather "sleek," and no traces of life have been discovered either. The planet’s surface is covered with a thick layer of crystalline-like material; its green color cos from this substance. These things, resembling crystals in form, have a surprisingly soft texture, contrary to their visual effect. Vega reported that walking on the surface of the Green Star feels like stepping on a hard carpet; it’s quite comfortable: all six of her legs felt cozy. That girl didn’t need to emphasize that.

Under the crust of the Green Star, there are complex energy reactions, which might indicate that the planet has been deeply transford by a high-level civilization. Ancient devices might be operation hundreds of kiloters underground. However, no remnants of civilization have been found on its surface: the planet’s surface is spotlessly clean, not even a stele is found. There’s a question of whether anything might be revealed if its green exterior were peeled away — in any case, if soone dared to do such a thing, Taville would surely carry a twenty-ton bomb to fight it out with them.

In fact, until the situation clarifies, even making a hole on the Green Star would be strictly prohibited: this is a consensus reached after a spiritual network eting involving my whole family and eighty percent of the scientists.

The Green Star should be the most precious trophy captured by the Imperial Army: though it initially seed to belong to the New Empire. Lin Xue’s prediction indicates that the planet was closely related to the Xyrin Apostles during the Old Empire Era, but it is not a creation of the Empire itself. It hides secrets of the Fallen Apostle’s grand operation, which is quite a vague statent; what does it an to hide secrets about a grand operation?

A piece of text, a mory chip, or even a rock painting turned fossil could all be considered things hiding secrets. We know it is hidden on the Green Star, but we don’t know in what form it exists, not even Lin Xue can precisely foresee this, given it’s a top-secret docunt from tens of thousands of years ago. Under such circumstances, who would dare to ss casually with the crust of the Green Star? Vega and her landing team can only be extrely cautious, not even daring to knock away any strange rock blocking their path — because what if the so-called secret is hidden in a stone?

Scorpion Sister was very aggravated because she led at least a reinforced company of scientists, and in terms of exploration, every scientist had more say than her straightforward mind. A blunt Armored Scorpion, suppressed by others to the point of not daring to kick even a stone on the road, having to constantly stop and wait for the scientists to scan the stones on the ground with various devices, could drive her insane.

The Imperial Admiral finally and slowly brought the entire fleet over after more than half an hour, and the combat alarm was already lifted since the battle had ended. There was no need for Qianqian to accelerate the whole fleet. When the Defense Army and the Royal Fleet joined, the Imperial Admiral directly stopped near the equator of Yurasis Imperial Power; all the channels were silent.

"I feel a bit embarrassed." Sandora’s voice first broke the silence.

Qianqian’s voice sounded particularly lively: "I feel quite magical!"

Lin Xue’s half-dead voice interjected: "I feel so terribly aweso."

Kenser picked up half a sentence: "Very good, very good — really bright."

The Imperial Admiral was adjusting its position by the equator of Yurasis Imperial Power, seemingly looking for a landing place. After much effort, Sandora irritably said: "Stop looking, the outer layer of Yurasis Imperial Power is three thousand kiloters of light and energy, and submachines like sparks of consciousness are born from this sea of fire. Only beneath three thousand kiloters is the physical core. I accidentally activated the ’Glory’ form; the glow layer is out of control, and coming in rashly might be assimilated by my spirit."

Qianqian beca dejected: "Ah, what a pity, I really wanted to see what it looks like inside you, golden and splendid, it must be quite magnificent inside! You’re much bigger than Visca..."

I slapped my forehead: This peculiar girl, can she discuss any incredible topic so calmly? Sandora transford into a Planet Fortress just smaller than Earth, and this girl’s first thought was to dive in and explore!

Moreover, I also thought of what kind of expression Pandora and Visca might have now. It’s said their Glory Starships are the smallest in size among the Xyrin Apostle’s Glory Forms; the Visca Barrier Star is like the moon, and standing with the current Yurasis Imperial Power, it’s like comparing a ping pong ball to a waterlon... Am I infected by Qianqian? What am I thinking?

Bingdisi and I returned to the bridge and found that everyone except Sandora and Lin Xue had gathered here, their faces showing exhaustion, including Qianqian. Although her inner ntal state remained excellent. The most dangerous battle was over, and a relaxed atmosphere began to spread on the bridge, despite countless troubleso matters needing handling. Compared to the fierce assault of the Fallen Apostles, it all seed insignificant. Everyone already knew what happened during the Green Star defense battle. This urgent battle of less than an hour had huge events, and my sister, looking at the brilliant Yurasis Imperial Power in the holographic projection, her gaze changed several tis, finally whispering, "Really dangerous. Is Sandora okay?"

Just as I was about to answer, Sandora’s voice cut in directly: "I’m fine, except this guy next to is rather noisy. She wants to have a contest to see who has a bigger gravitational pull; Ah Jun, control her."

"... How do I control her! Except for Visca, no one can handle her, right?"

"She’s already surnad Chen, and you can’t control her?" replied Sandora with a helpless tone, "I’m quite embarrassed right now."

Wiping cold sweat off, the War Song had been tangled up with Yurasis Imperial Power for so ti now. That Mad AI was notably eager, having never seen such a peculiar planet battleship before. You could hear the babbling chatter as soon as you opened the public channels: "... Eh, don’t ignore , is it not okay that this ship is a bumpkin? I haven’t seen sothing so majestic before... My radius is slightly larger than yours, but you seem to be the big sister... His Excellency the General also has a Glory Form, this ship thinks concentrated essence is the best..."

Then I noticed a shadow flash by my side, and Visca was gone; monts later, the mad AI’s lanting voice ca through the public channel: "Ah — Your Excellency the General! Please stay calm! This ship has sincere intentions... Ah! not this way! This is dangerous! Ah! My sensors! My scanning ring! My data accelerator... my newly replaced Star Gold Stone Inhibitor!"

And then the whole world beca quiet. (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to vote with recomndations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation.)
