(Almost forgot to ask for monthly tickets again this month!! Gentlen, now asking for monthly votes—also, I’ll probably forget by the end of the month, just don’t forget when the ti cos...)

I had thought from the beginning that, sooner or later, I would have to let Milia’s family know our true origin. At least they have the right to know where Milia has been in the past month, but I didn’t expect that I would have to disclose this so soon.

It was Bingdisi’s trouble-inviting power that played a decisive role in this process.

"In other words, Milia has been living in another world for the past month, rember, another world, not an alien planet, but another universe." I didn’t know if the native Mobrans had discovered the existence of otherworld, so I patiently added this comnt.

Uncle Zaku’s face showed disbelief but, considering our group’s peculiar behaviors, especially that otherworldly power, and Milia’s unclear explanations about her disappearance over the past month, he could only nod half-believingly, "Another world? You co from another world? This is really incredible. The scholars of Mobra once speculated whether there is another universe beyond our own, but no one has dared to officially declare this field of study, after all, we can’t even fly out of our star system yet, and now all that seems like nonsense. But I never imagined, otherworlds really exist?"

Not only do they exist, but their numbers are beyond your imagination, uncle.

We confird our identity as guests from anotherworld and explained that we ca along with Milia when she returned, which obviously went beyond Uncle Zaku’s expectations. He and Biluna were marveled, but both didn’t forget that there are still many more mysteries to unravel.

"Alright, guests from anotherworld, to be honest, I still find it hard to believe. Don’t mind , I am a skeptic. Unless I really see you travel through ti and space, it’s difficult to be fully certain about that otherworld you ntioned," Uncle Zaku scratched his ssy hair, and his dark, large face suddenly twisted, "Regardless of whether it’s anotherworld or not, you destroyed a Holy Relic!! Do you realize how serious a cri that is? Coming from anotherworld, perhaps you don’t feel much for Holy Relics, but anything left by the Holy Sage is considered sacred by the people of Mobra, in this world two things are strictly protected by both the Church and scholars: Ancient knowledge and Holy Relics. Now you’ve caused a major ss."

"So, are you also a devout worshiper of the Holy Sage?"

I did not respond directly, instead, I lifted an eyebrow, showing a keen interest from the side.

The uncle pursed his lips, "Not exactly a devout worshiper. We ordinary citizens are more concerned about our daily als than a sage race from tens of thousands of years ago. But ordinary citizens also have their beliefs, The creations of Holy Sages are not to be desecrated. ssing with them carelessly will lead to big trouble; this belief is deeply ingrained."

The uncle shrugged towards the end, clearly, to him, the "Holy Sage" was just that, a super civilization that stayed on this planet in the ancient era, their level of developnt beyond the wildest imaginations of modern Mobrans, thanks to their legacy, the civilization of Mobra was able to quickly advance to its current level. So one might not say he worshiped them fervently, but there was certainly reverence, compounded by a fanatic Canglan Church controlling the world’s situation. Anyone offending the Holy Relics would turn to ashes, that was enough to make the uncle very worried about our "desecration."

But after knowing we ca from another world, he was just rationalizing our actions through his understanding.

"Holy Sage," I scratched my cheek feeling sowhat uneasy, noticing that Milia, who had stayed in Shadow City for several days, was making faces from an angle the uncle couldn’t see. This girl had already lost the initial reverence for the "Holy Sage" words, "Honestly, hearing you say it over and over, I’m really not used to it. Bubbles, stop playing around, show him."

Uncle Zaku was baffled by my words, but when little Loli suddenly piled a stack of things in front of him, he couldn’t stay calm.

First, Bubbles casually created a dozen communication terminals, including the disc-shaped one like Milia’s, as well as triangle, oval, square, doughnut, shoehorn, and big-eyed shapes, covering every type of interest a commander might have for their custom terminal. Then she began to produce single soldier cannons, ghost energy crystals, and ghost energy shield generators until finally, three shiny, brightly gleaming Xyrin single soldier fighter jets crashed right in front of uncle with a clang.

"In strict terms, everything in this world belongs to our family."

Bubbles raised a finger in the air and waggled it, "Including that crazed soldier we dealt with today—he’s part of my child’s dad’s property."

Over the next several minutes, with Milia as the person involved explaining, Sandora and I answering questions in person, uncle Zaku finally grasped the true origins of this calamitous bunch that had fallen from the sky. The expressions on his and Biluna’s faces were quite a sight, and could no longer be categorized into any specific emotion. Clearly, imnse shock was crashing through their minds, and these honest Mobran citizens needed so ti to calm down.

During this ti, I pulled out a piece of paper from my embrace, firmly believing that Lin Xue’s influence should have manifested sothing by now unless my own bystander halo had grown strong enough to affect a prophet’s prediction capabilities. Sure enough, this ti instead of the pancake face that I had almost morized, a door appeared.

Below it, in crawling handwriting, it read: "The wheel of history has turned, and you have opened a new Chapter—there should have been an illustration of a wheel here, I drew it wrong, Wood, just make do."

This line made deeply worried about the empire’s future.

A few minutes later, uncle Zaku and Biluna seed to have sorted out their thoughts a bit, and their gaze towards us turned even more complicated. They opened their mouths but ultimately said nothing; Biluna’s serious face beca much more cautious, while uncle couldn’t help but make a grimace—an utterly inappropriate reaction which led Milia to jab him in the side. Still, I could sowhat understand their predicant of not knowing how to start the conversation.

After all, not everyone has Qianqian’s terrifying nerve, nor does everyone lack the adequate reverence for Holy Sages as Milia did as a Mobran. Most people would feel utterly lost upon learning that the neighbor selling pancakes, Uncle Sun, had a Buddhist na called Wukong back in his youth, just like how years ago when first attending high school I felt out of sorts discovering that the older guy I used to go to the internet café with during holidays to play Warcraft was actually my geography teacher.

So, not knowing how to express their confused feelings, uncle could only make a grimace at us.

"I know this is a bit complicated," I nodded understandingly, "because you’ve deified the Xyrin Apostles too severely. Actually, the whole matter is quite simple: our kin left this planet many years ago but didn’t manage to take everything with them before departing. Then new civilizations developed on this planet, and primitive people tend to use mythology to explain the supernatural phenona they see, leading these simple myths to gradually evolve into a religion. Unlike typical religions, however, your worship of the ’Holy Sages’ is founded on actual ancient technology. Thus you view the so-called ’return of the Holy Sages’ as sowhat miraculous, but really it’s just this: we’re rely checking whether the items we left behind are still intact."

What I didn’t say was that it seed the situation had indeed escalated significantly.

This plain and simple explanation was easy to understand, and Uncle Zaku smoothly adjusted his mind, but his gaze remained complex. Yet that wasn’t important anymore. With the appearance of ancient relics and the uncontrollable Revenge Army fighter, the situation had already evolved towards a more sophisticated direction, and little attention was paid to fine details. Still, Big Sister politely reminded Uncle Zaku to keep our identity a secret for now—if not absolutely necessary, we didn’t want to disturb this very research-worthy latter-day civilization.

A civilization developed entirely within the imperial relics, how it would evolve was now listed as a research topic by Taville.

Uncle Zaku and Biluna didn’t know what plans the "Holy Sage" they revered was concocting, but they still agreed to heed Big Sister’s warning.

Uncle Zaku, Biluna, and Milia were after all ordinary people. Even though Biluna, as a Rebirth Person, had slightly stronger spiritual power, they were exhausted after a night of sleepless, thrilling adventure and soon went back to their rooms to rest: of course, the first two might have needed to find a quiet place to sort out their thoughts, but that was none of my business.

We, however, couldn’t calm down enough to return to sleep. The developnt of events had gone sowhat beyond expectation. This world had once been a colony of Sandora, and all of her forr vassal races had been exterminated. Astonishingly, it was highly likely her Revenge Army that had carried out this dark deed. We even encountered a Revenge Army warrior who showed no signs of control by the Abyss, yet he brazenly attacked his own queen and treated us all as invaders. Lin Xue had warned us before we set out that very formidable enemies were hiding in this world—now it seed her prediction was startlingly accurate, as the enemies were extrely difficult, not just because of their power.

"I don’t believe that soldiers from the Xyrin Empire would ever betray," I declared emphatically, reflecting everyone’s thoughts.

"Exactly, race traits, soul structures, and life forms all ensure that a normal Xyrin Apostle would never betray," Sandora said softly, arms crossed over her chest. Although she seed the most affected by the situation, her expression remained the most serene, as if nothing could disturb her calmness on critical matters, "My soldiers must have been influenced by sothing that distorted their external perception. If a sufficiently powerful enemy, such as the Fallen Emperor, had misdirected them by warping the Apostles’ perceptions, that would explain a lot. Not to ntion, I too could make ordinary soldiers among the Fallen Apostles massacre each other through mind twisting."

"But now I’m worried about how many of your soldiers are controlled and for how long they have been under such influence," I said anxiously to Sandora, "That ancient relic has a long history, and after adjusting for the unequal ti relationships between worlds, it’s almost imdiately after the Empire went dormant. And the imperial combat aircraft suppressed within it must have been sealed around the sa ti too. Right now, let’s not think about why an ancient civilization would suppress a re imperial soldier and a single soldier fighter jet so heavily within a relic—they might have just wanted to find a thod to combat their forr rulers. If the Revenge Army warriors had already lost control back then and began slaughtering their own people, and this uncontrolled state is still ongoing..."

"I’m afraid my entire army has already been compromised."

Sandora calmly concluded my pessimistic deduction, her voice devoid of much emotional fluctuation.

"Now let’s not indulge in pointless speculations about this issue," Big Sister interjected, "What’s coming will co, and the enemy might... In any case, we should accelerate our preparations of defensive lines and increase our fleet in this universe, for the enemy might be remarkably formidable. Sandora, how many troops do you have in this world?"

"I can’t be sure," Sandora shook her head, "I’ve told you this world is abnormal. My mory of this universe isn’t like this. The great collapse of the Old Empire might have caused many worlds to collide, much like shattered building blocks thrown together carelessly. If my original territories happen to be jumbled together, our current military strength is indeed quite dangerous."

During the conversation, Sandora had co to accept that the enemy could likely be her forr subordinates.

It was a disheartening situation. Knowing Sandora was in low spirits, I tried to console her, "Sandora, think positively. After all, current intelligence shows that your soldiers aren’t controlled by the Abyss, and we’ve only seen one uncontrollable Revenge Army warrior. It doesn’t an they’ve all gone mad. Plus, even if a battle does break out, as long as we can prolong the conflict to give researchers ti, we might soon find a way to restore them to normal. We don’t necessarily have to fight your forr subordinates to the last man."

"No, Ah Jun, never hold back," Sandora said, shaking her head as she looked into my eyes, "That would be an insult to the soldiers on both sides, and any restraint during a battle against the Imperial Army is extrely dangerous."

Well, there Sandora went educating again.

Just then, Bubbles suddenly spoke up, interrupting our increasingly tangled conversation. She raised her little hand and waved it in front of everyone, shouting loudly, "Alright, alright! Let’s pause the depressing topic. I’ve received information from the intelligence network and have finished sorting through it, which might give you so hints about this Mobra Planet."

This finally brought us out of this terrible topic for a while, and everyone imdiately cast their curious glances toward Bubbles.

"Although the ti was short, the agents still gathered quite a bit of information about the natives of this world, much of which confird our current findings and guesses. Ah, perhaps so have already guessed — agents found the Revenge Army’s insignia in many relics..."

As Bubbles shared the organized data through a spiritual connection, she explained the things that needed attention, which were insights she had determined through calculations to have hidden value—

Imperial agents and a group of spies from a civilization community adept at intelligence collection had already technologically penetrated most of Mobra’s databases, even scanning the databases of the Holy Hall of the Canglan Church that ruled over the whole of Mobra, where they found many astonishing things. anwhile, another group of agents conducted deep scans of all the planets in this constant star system; the things they discovered might not be so straightforward but were even more thought-provoking.

There were more Imperial relics within the Mobra star system than previously anticipated; indeed, this place was a colony of the Old Empire. From these remaining relics alone, one could imagine the once brilliant scenery of planets studded with steel fortresses. However, now they seldom appeared before the eyes of the world, one reason being—most relics were buried deep within the planets, deeper than you would think.

The most striking example was the agents’ discovery on the first planet of Mobra, known as the Living Purgatory.

Over eighty percent of the Imperial relics there had suffered lethal attacks and were subrged deep within the Earth’s crust or even below in the mantle. A small team of agents conducted a deep search on that magma-covered planet and incredibly found a fragnted outpost near the core, and according to the residual structure of the outpost, they determined that it was not a star core facility but a surface station.

This pointed to a chilling fact: the first planet had once been thoroughly lted; for a considerably long period, it had been liquid, while the originally surface-built Imperial outpost, due to its sturdy structure, had not been destroyed by high temperatures. They floated in the lted butter-like magma, gradually sinking due to gravity and then suspended within the solidifying planet, like amber.

Other observations also showed that this desolate planet had undergone violent orbit changes; its trajectory completely inconsistent with what this star system should have naturally exhibited after formation.

According to the data already acquired, Bubbles made the most probable deduction: the first planet of Mobra had suffered bombing from EOP-03, and under the influence of so gravitational weapon had been pushed toward the sun; it should have crashed into the corona, but due to unknown reasons, this gravitational attack seed only half-executed, and the planet that was supposed to burn in the star survived barely but beca a horrific mortal hell due to its proximity to the star.

To this day, it is still covered with magma and volcanoes, too close to the star, without an atmosphere, its internal high heat unable to escape, and it has a dangerous elliptical orbit— the first planet has one hundred ninety-six days a year, during seventeen of which it passes extrely close to the sun, and at those tis, the side facing the sunlight almost returns to the molten state it was in when just attacked by the star-lting bomb, hence living up to its na of Living Purgatory.

This condition has been ongoing for untold tens of thousands of years, and its orbit is still gradually getting closer to the sun—according to Bubbles’ calculations, in at most another thousand years, this planet will plunge into the corona.

"It used to be brimming with life," Bubbles unfolded a holographic star map in front of us, "this is its natural orbit that it should have; these data are from its environnt before suffering the attack. So of the Imperial relics found inside the first planet were for carbon-based life habitats, indicating that this planet also had natives, but EOP-03 and the gravitational weapon destroyed everything."

"And these are from another planet."

As Bubbles spoke, she presented another set of holographic images before everyone, this ti appearing, was a gas planet enveloped in thick clouds. (The end to be continued.
