Capítulo 1587: Chapter 1587

The shuttle crash-landed on the surface of the Imperial Admiral, still billowing thick smoke due to Qianqian’s magical driving style. I won’t even ntion how many ships she’s wrecked in the past—she’s even driven the autopilot and ergency halt systems crazy. I’m just relieved she never managed to pass her navigation and piloting courses for dium-sized ships, otherwise, we’d have to set up a production line just to deal with her wrecks.

A bunch of autonomous machines are busily clearing the debris on the armored belt, while I’m hiding with everyone else in the atmospheric field at a distance, watching and listening to the chatter. The few crash victims who got caught up in the ss just finished wiping their faces clean, and Lin Xue, full of resentnt, remarked, “I was the one flying originally, but Qianqian thought it was too slow and snatched it away. I understand her eagerness, but wasn’t accelerating ti on a ship in the Void a bit extre? She can handle it, but the ship obviously couldn’t—the tiline rupture drove the shuttle’s mainfra mad.”

While handling a doll-like girl who was climbing all over like a little monkey, I glanced up at the dark outer space and asked, “Isn’t Lilina with those Divine Race officers? Why aren’t they here yet?”

The main Imperial Army is moving a bit slowly, so the impatient ones at ho have already sped over using various high-speed transit options. The group in front of us arrived on a shuttle, while those Divine Race individuals chose to take Lin. Lilina considers herself half of the Divine Race, so she went with them—though I heard the real reason was that she got thrown off the shuttle during a scuffle with the little doll.

“Lin’s speed shouldn’t be slower than the shuttle’s,” said my sister, looking a bit puzzled as she gazed at the sky, “She was following the shuttle’s order field mark, there’s no way she could get lost, right? It’s been over ten minutes.”

Thinking about Lin’s intelligence, and then considering that Bingdisi might be on the back of that dumb dragon making a ss of things, I thought perhaps they did get lost—though where could you possibly get lost in a universe that’s just one big zone?

Just as that thought crossed my mind, a loud voice ca over the Imperial Admiral’s relay channel: “Hey! Hey, hey! The guy who calls himself the General’s brother! This is the Heavenly God’s Forge, do you hear ?”

The Heavenly God’s Forge hadn’t yet been rged into the New Empire’s data network, so they could only contact us via a public relay channel. Everyone heard her voice, and Lin Xue raised an eyebrow: “Oh? Is this the ‘Madman No. 2’ you ntioned? I have to admit, she does sound a bit like a certain madman… It’s a pity that Visca is with the main forces and will take so ti to get here, otherwise sothing exciting would happen now!”

“I just hope she doesn’t team up with Er Fengzi to cause us trouble,” I muttered, picking up the communication from the Heavenly God’s Forge, “What’s all the fuss about?”

“This vessel has two questions for you. First, when exactly will the General arrive? We detected the world barrier of this world opening once, but the General didn’t appear! You’re not fooling this vessel, right? This vessel now has a radius of several thousand kiloters, aren’t you scared?”

“She’s with the main forces, she’ll be here in the second wave,” I replied, feeling a bit touched by the thought of how devoted she seed to her General, “And what’s your other question?”

“Oh, are there more of you coming? A group of Divine Race mbers with an unknown carbon-based race child amongst them, riding on a Golden Dragon with two heads.”

My face twitched as I realized what might be happening: “…Did they end up at your place?”

“This vessel isn’t sure if they ca here on purpose, but that Two-headed Dragon seed like it had a screw loose and ramd into this vessel’s celestial cover. Now it’s apparently stunned—can soone send a tugboat to haul these idiots away?”

: “…Seriously, how do you manage to get lost in a universe with only one pathway leading to the only life-bearing planet below us? Can you believe that?”

Sandora quickly dispatched a tugboat, and within minutes, they finally transported the trouble-making Divine Clan group back. Lin was still unconscious, stuck in her Giant Dragon form and unable to revert back because the Dragon God’s size was too cumberso to move onto the ship (though it’s more likely her lazy teammates didn’t bother to move her). So she got hung on the ship’s prow and brought back. Dropping a several-hundred-ter-long dragon on the upper platform of the Imperial Admiral was literally earth-shattering, and even I felt a twinge of sympathy: Though Lin was usually the most good-natured and hardworking in the household, was it really right to keep bullying her like this? Though she did squash every one of her teammates again during the crash… Well, being tied to the ship’s bow seems fair enough.

The Tiaozi Five had a great relationship with , and after not seeing them for days, we reunited and caused quite a ruckus. Except for the unconscious Lin, everyone ca over to greet —so with hugs, others with firm shoulder pats, so with fist bumps, and one swinging a brick on a chain—Sandora sternly pinned Bingdisi to the ground and gave her a beating.

Her Majesty the Queen was delighted with her new life, trying to get used to her new body, and Bingdisi dared to ss with her “provisions” at a ti like this, which was just asking for it.

Finally, when everyone had finished their greetings, Lilina flew over to , dramatically wailing, “Boss…”

This ti… I didn’t dodge, because I knew Lilina’s nature. When she’s earnest and solemn, she’s often up to sothing, but when she’s exaggerated to the point of acting, that’s when she’s showing genuine emotion. I figured this ti, she was genuinely scared. After all, “missing after self-destruction” is a serious business. The strained ssages we sent back couldn’t provide more than proof that Sandora and I were alive—it was this ambiguous, unclear state that worried everyone.

Lilina was surprised she didn’t get thrown into a basket this ti, but quickly seed content, hanging onto my neck. Turning my head, I scanned around, feeling like sothing was missing, then patted Lilina’s head: “Where’s Dingdang?”

Right, that Little One didn’t show up! Despite being only twelve centiters tall, her presence was never small, and she ought to be the first to show up at a ti like this.

“She got knocked out when Lin landed.” Lilina rembered, hastily digging through her pocket. After rummaging for a while, she produced a handful of random items: small chunks of erasers, unfinished jellybeans, aningless scraps of paper, and a crumpled-winged and still in a faint Dingdang. Just how much random stuff does Lilina carry in her pocket!

“Dingdang’s living conditions in your pocket really are terrible.” I casually stuffed Dingdang into my own pocket and was about to say sothing else when I noticed a massive distortion of starlight in the distant outer space. Such a large-scale disturbance… the Imperial Fleet had finally arrived!

Accompanied by the grand and magnificent “Space Door Opening” phenonon, nurous Eternal-class Mother Ships and their escort formations slowly erged in space. These ships were larger than standard models, colossal even from this distance, like space mountains. Each ship’s edge glead with a special pale golden trimming, distinctly marking them as the Royal Fleet I knew!

But I also keenly noticed sothing different: There weren’t as many ships as usual, and so of the Eternal Mother Ships still bore unrepaired scars, with many of the escort ships being brand new. This was the aftermath of the last great battle; a significant portion of the ships had been destroyed, and most of the remainder were seriously damaged, likely undergoing repairs in Shadow Space. Seeing this scarred fleet, even Sandora couldn’t help but sigh slightly: “Years of accumulation, nearly severely depleted this ti… No, it’s indeed already hurt our resources, even changing the Royal Fleet. Thankfully, the Abyss Zone is no longer a threat; the biggest worry is gone, and the Empire should recover soon, I hope.”

When the Imperial Fleet arrived, Pandora and Visca naturally followed. As almost all the ships entered orbit, I felt the space around warp, and then, through the Space Gate, erged two 1.2-ter-tall Shorty generals (though I guess it’s not the right ti to think about it like this, but did the two finally satisfy their thirst for warfare?). Pandora, with her usual stoic face, walked over to rub against my leg, content, while Visca excitedly exclaid, “Brother, brother, are you okay? We’ve been looking for—”

Before Visca could finish, a high-pitched female voice suddenly echoed through the relay channel: “The General’s voice! The General’s mark! The General’s identification code! This vessel senses the General in this universe—you, who claid to be the General’s brother, you didn’t lie to this vessel!”

The Heavenly God’s Forge has been scanning the entire world at full power since just now, and shalessly attaching itself to our channel. When Visca appeared, it also got excited. Visca clearly heard this voice too, she tilted her head a bit confusedly: “Eh? Who is it? Sounds sowhat familiar.”

“General, it’s the ship you love the most, the hula hoop (again, who knows which parallel world she learned this term from)! Have you forgotten you hung two hoops on Barrier Star back in the day? You planned to hang a total of six hoops, but then you went out on an expedition and forgot about this ship. Ah, the glory days age us, mories fade as the years go by, but General, please do not lant my inadequacy, I can still help you remove your war robe! Do you still want this ship? You can play with it, just for fun. This ship accidentally smashed the body you built back then, now it’s turned into a weird, shapeless thing…”

Visca blinked, seemingly rembering the identity of the speaker, but before she could say anything, another voice abruptly cut into the channel. At the sa ti, I saw a larger space gate opening in the distant outer space, with the majestic and imposing figure of War Song trying hard to squeeze out: “Shapeless, my ass! You useless thing couldn’t protect your own body, don’t bla others. At least they built you a new shell, okay? And do you have issues with spherical bodies? Look at this ship! You’re insulting this ship… Hey damn, it’s stuck! The space gate isn’t big enough! Great Governor, give it a push from behind, maybe a blast will get it through, don’t worry, hitting it won’t break it!”

Sandora looked in a daze at her old flagship, muttering, “My War Song… you can’t behave like this…”

Before she’d finished speaking, I saw the gigantic space gate shudder, and War Song squeezed into this world with a “splurt” if there were sound, then started exchanging profanities across light years with her old battle friends: “Haha, the useless heap of cannons from back then, I knew you couldn’t possibly have died earlier than this ship. What are you still hanging around there for? Hurry and co et General, and anwhile, et her brother, you know?”

Apparently, in Er Fengzi’s eyes, I am still just a “anwhile” existence.

War Song is a slow-moving giant ship, especially during cross-world jumps, but she actually hurried over after the Imperial Army. I asked Visca beside what happened, and she explained: War Song stayed at the Abyss Zone after the war ended, tasked with guarding the inland transport node there. Though she resisted all enemies with sheer determination, she was heavily damaged herself and had been repairing since then, only regaining mobility yesterday. Hearing that communications were restored today, she happened to be nearby and rushed over.

The old injury not fully healed was one reason War Song got stuck at the space gate earlier.

Upon receiving the invitation from old battle companions, the nervous second AI, who previously felt “useless” and was reluctant to et Visca, couldn’t resist jumping over too. Thus, an unprecedented space spectacle appeared near the tiny planet, with three almost equally large planets gathered together playing cards!

Fortunately, the Planet Fortress can freely control its surrounding gravity field, appearing huge but impacting the surroundings like an illusion. This prevented orbital shifts or space disaster like planetary disintegration—thank Dingdang for that, as War Song and the Heavenly God’s Forge drifted around the “Refuge” planet technically exceeding the Roche limit long ago!

But while space disasters could be avoided, it’s uncertain if the emotions of surface populations stayed stable: looking up in broad daylight could see two planets hanging in the sky, even if just blurry gray shadows, the psychological pressure is huge! It’s safe to estimate the Lost God Sect is going through a rough ti, and who knows how they plan to explain the “dayti hanging stars” sky phenonon to folks. I always said these two maniacs eting would an trouble, see how little they care about consequences when they act.

By now, Visca rembered her Star Ring host, she curiously glanced at the gray Heavenly God’s Forge far in space: “Little Huan? How did you beco like this? Brother said you were installed in the Heavenly God’s Forge. What’s going on exactly?”

I suddenly felt alard: “Her na is Little Huan?!”

Visca naturally replied: “Because it’s a Star Ring.”

I feel I might never be able to face the term “Little Huan” again… Oh well, might as well keep calling that guy the Heavenly God’s Forge or Nervous Number Two, no way I will acknowledge calling that thing Little Huan!

The Heavenly God’s Forge has been separated from its general for hundreds of thousands of years, through countless storms: running through worlds, fighting battles, plunging into Abyss Zone, dying and reincarnating, even with a non-original body. Such experiences would make anyone who achieved even one of them a hero, but this guy went through them all and survived. Yet, I feel no sense that the Heavenly God’s Forge has thoughts on the hardships over the hundreds of thousands of years. She and Er Fengzi are alike, completely unaware of the ordeals they’ve been through, like a life shredded and reconstructed was re transient clouds—they are now passionately chatting with Visca, imrsed in the joy of reuniting with the old master, temporarily forgetting about their damaged bodies.

Straightforward, simple. The Destruction Army might have once been a disaster, but I must admit, it was composed of the simplest and most understandable guys, “Loyalty to the General, regardless of cost,” they implented those eight words thoroughly from top to bottom.

“…This ship went through many places back then, even visited several universes where General established bases to check for you, but couldn’t find your whereabouts. However, discovered many nascent primitive civilizations around the base ruins, they still fight with stones, and nad the three bases we left in orbit as the Three Holy Spirits… this ship shot lots of videos, General will surely enjoy watching!”

“…This ship also found so interesting stones, mutated tallic minerals due to Ghost Energy infection, but they exploded during self-destruct back then… but this ship kept images! You usually love these odd things, right? This ship rembered…”

“Additionally, this ship visited places we fought battles…”

Once the Heavenly God’s Forge started talking, she wouldn’t stop, trying to share lots of her (self-thought) interesting mories over hundreds of thousands of years with Visca for amusent. I could completely picture the old days they interacted like this: muddle-headed Visca wandering with her army, not having specific hobbies or knowing how to alleviate loneliness, her slightly deranged soldiers diligently collecting things to please their officer, gathering stones, stories, gases, liquids, even recording dull native creatures on primitive planets. Most of it seed utterly unamusing to , but it was their treasure for killing ti back in the day. Yet now, after hundreds of thousands of years, circumstances have radically shifted, will Visca still find interest in these?

I believe Visca, restored to normal sanity, now living a fulfilling life, won’t be interested in those old broken stones or boring junk pile recordings anymore. However, surprisingly, she listened to the Heavenly God’s Forge’s ramblings with a constant smile, without showing signs of impatience. Watching her like this, I suddenly grasped sothing:

Maybe even during her most insane period, this girl retained a patch of purity in her heart.

Though her madness often made her forget where that purity was.

When we finished stabilizing the universe and prepared Leaving World Garden for “World Traction” (Sandora planned to drag this whole universe to the Imperial District), the Heavenly God’s Forge finally stopped rambling. She cautiously asked: “General… do you still need this ship?”

Visca smiled and nodded vigorously: “Yes.”

A complete joy almost spread through the data network, the arduous trek and search spanning seven hundred thousand years had finally been satisfied.
