Chapter 1583: Chapter 1583: Oh, Another One

We once again boarded the engineering ship and arrived at the Galaxy Edge, but this ti there were many passengers on the ship—dozens of Elves, most of them elderly n and won, and two Popes were also accompanying the group.

Actually, the Popes in the Lost God Sect have no real power. They are a symbolic representation, their true value exists as a key carrier. Even if the Popes are determined and know history, they are too young to necessarily have the capacity to shoulder the major responsibility of leading this sect. Moreover, the Popes can only live for over a hundred years, their brief lifespan makes establishing any real power unnecessary, the true managers of the Lost God Sect have always been the Cardinal Council made up of super elderly individuals from the Three Elf Clans. Additionally, the younger generation within the Cardinal Council is still far from capable of shouldering heavy responsibilities, so it can be said that the world’s order is completely upheld by the remaining thirty or so elderly individuals.

They have been working hard to train successors, hoping that soone can take over their work before they die of old age. However, this is extrely challenging, as so things cannot be replaced by education or training: the elders who lived through everything and personally accepted their mission are a wealth that cannot be replaced. Only they can fully understand the existence significance of the Lost God Sect, and only they have fully experienced the evolution from the Republican Era, Imperial Era, Federation Era to the Divine Era. The insights and ntality brought by personal experience are difficult to impart to the next generation, and young Elves—even those carefully selected elites—cannot possess the unwavering determination like their forefathers. This is not related to personality or character; it’s sothing predetermined by later experiences.

Without truly experiencing the failures of the previous three eras, the younger generation always harbors blind optimism towards the future.

Before Sandora and I ca to this world, the Cardinal Council had already realized this irreconcilable contradiction, and so had even foreseen that this world would eventually slide into a dangerous Abyss due to the successive passing of the elderly. Apart from their long lifespan, Elves are no different from other races; they too have the mindset of Mortals, prone to wavering, impulsiveness, being deceived, and exhibiting divisions and rebellious psychology in generational transmission. The past Federation fell into chaos due to generational shifts among short-lived species, and today’s Divine Authority Society will also have cracks due to generational shifts among long-lived species. The fragile protection established by the Lost God Sect is fundantally flawed, and the elderly are powerless to reverse it. Thus, from hundreds of years ago, so mbers of the Cardinal Council began to experience feelings of despair—fortunately, Sandora and I weren’t delayed in discovering this place.

Or rather, fortunately, the Abyss Xyrin’s capacity for action was extrely high, in a short amount of ti they already prepared for bridge building and indirectly pushed the split and reorganization of the Abyss Zone, quickening the historical process, allowing us to be “blown in” before this world fell into chaos.

History is thus intricately linked, wonderfully amazing, break one link, all becos totally different.

The engineering ship erged from the Ti-Space Jump state, the optical phenonon surrounding the ship instantly vanished, and the external monitors transmitted the space scene to the hall. On a large holographic projection appeared the spectacular yet lifeless construction cluster in space, a White Elf (reportedly a forr White Elf Prince) exclaid excitedly: “Look, that’s what we set down long ago!”

“And there’s our Locaron Great Fortress! By the Elf Tree, it’s been so many years since I’ve seen it… During our escape back then, I was the Commander on this ship, but unfortunately, it had two thrusters damaged by the Reformist during the Federation Era.”

“That’s the Silver Star Dwarves’ Pan God Fortress, during the Republican Era the Council was on that Fortress, I still rember.”

As the spaceship progressed, one space ruin after another appeared on the holographic projection, among them the large ruins were extrely noticeable, and almost all the Elves present could na every significant ruin. Occasionally, a cheer erupted from the surrounding crowd, and as the ship gradually approached the central area of the construction cluster, the surrounding joyful calls slowly turned into lants and sighs.

The relics of the Three Elf Clans (actually mainly the White Elf and High Elf, the Tree Elf didn’t leave any large facilities here) were on the outskirts of the construction cluster. Moving inward, more ruins left by other races gradually appeared. Human-created Space Fortresses spanned the space, ti-polished Dwarf starships maintained their original grandeur, the Ashen’s Magic Energy Spaceship was no longer shining with its forr glory, and the Beastn’s deep space city still bore the tribal emblem—this emblem once represented an advanced civilization that mastered the truth of the Universe, but now it more often appeared at the entrances of crude and simple villages on the wilds in the eastern areas of Sanctuary Planet.

At least the Three Elf Clans still rember what they owned back then, but the owners of these ruins don’t even know what they lost. Nowadays, they plow the fields with oxen, wield bows and sticks to hunt in the mountains, each night gazing at the starry sky praying for protection from the God of Technology and the Magic God, yet not knowing that the starry sea they gaze at—they presu to be Divine Country’s realm—was actually their holand tens of thousands of years ago. This is the result of ancient agreents; these ancestral races indeed voluntarily relinquished everything, but the Elves who once journeyed with these ancestors now inevitably find themselves emotionally stirred by the remnants: the heavy price of what the deceased lost is now entirely weighing on the living.

“The bonds ford during our escape…” Sandora’s voice sounded ethereally, “Look at what sins we committed back then.”

I patted the Sandora Ball: “At least there is still hope now.”

“Heavenly God’s Forge” finally appeared on the central holographic projection of the hall.

That is exactly where Sandora and I discovered the location of the encrypted space—although now the encrypted space has been lifted, a large expanse of construction clusters has erged in its place. These construction clusters differ from the outskirts’ ruins, with Empire-style facilities occupying a large part. They include everything from small Starports to abandoned Warships, all seemingly like a junkyard, and almost none reflecting any Energy reaction (which is why energy scans couldn’t detect these objects a couple of days ago). These abandoned items are orbiting a pale gray Artificial Planet, which is our target: the ancient Exile Ark known as “Heavenly God’s Forge.”

Its size is similar to Green Star, reportedly it was once an Ecological Planet, but due to long abandonnt, its surface ecological environnt has collapsed and disappeared, forests have retreated, rivers dried, atmosphere dissipated, now the planet’s surface is covered by a thin layer of mixed debris, and the artificial soil layer covers the original Extraordinary Alloy casing of the Planet Fortress, giving it a drab pale gray appearance. The planet’s surface is smooth with no impact marks, presumably, it had little chance of suffering impacts here.

We also found the “Energy Guiding Bridge” that we observed on that day, turns out it is an independent facility located on the orbit, its scale is indeed enormous, several Energy Guiding Bridges combined seem like a bizarre Starport, and the Energy Guiding Bridge is connected to the “Heavenly God’s Forge” through so facility resembling a space elevator, unsure why they opted for what looks like outdated physical links, maybe for reliability?

I have already connected the control device to the engineering ship’s mainfra, now via the engineering ship console, we can directly contact the “Heavenly God’s Forge” planetary mainfra, the Awaken signal has been sent, now waiting for the response.

Soon, the planetary mainfra of the Heavenly God’s Forge sent a short response, the detection apparatus imdiately detected that various degrees of seismic activities and gravitational imbalance phenona began occurring throughout the pale gray planet, strange magnetic fields and Ghost Energy Radiation randomly appeared on the planet’s surface, on the energy radar feedback planetary panorama it seed to be covered with a magnificent colorful new attire: this planet has slept for so long, now it’s finally going to stretch its first lazy waist in tens of thousands of years, such a stretch is quite grand, luckily currently no one is on the surface; otherwise, who could endure such a planetary vibration mode?

Due to the gravity generators of the planet being in fine-tuning, the gravitation of the entire planet also beca chaotic, and the nearby “space debris” without propulsion fell uncontrolled towards the surface, the situation beca lively, as the advanced intelligent mainfra of the Heavenly God’s Forge precisely awoke, a straightforward synthesized female voice began greeting us: “‘Heavenly God’s Forge’ shipboard mainfra has been activated, self-check is good, during automated operation the system log database is large, currently uploading in batches to your ship, please… Hey, who is hitting the ship? Hey hey, why is it being hit again? What is this, what is that?! How co I just woke up to encounter a teor shower? Bullying the ship for not deploying Shields… Hey hey, is there no end to this! This is not what was agreed upon! Why is everything on the orbit falling down… Oh, why would the artificial gravity source activate?”

The surface agitation of the “Heavenly God’s Forge” seed more pronounced, equipnt detected strong energy turbulence happening inside, simultaneously its sowhat out-of-control artificial gravity sources shut down one by one, I felt as if the ship’s mainfra was scrambling before finally activating the Planet Shield, space debris made spectacular sparks on the Ghost Energy Shield, and the mainfra’s voice ca with a heartbroken tone: “Ah… This is the ship, ah… This is the Starport, ah… This is the satellite… Ah, it’s all gone… But let the old burn away, then the new can co. By the way, are you the ones who awakened the ship? Is the outside world peaceful?”

Sandora and I: “…”

Why do I feel like the style of this ship AI is off! How could the Old Empire have such a quirky AI!

“Are you sure the Heavenly God’s Forge hasn’t been opened in the past tens of thousands of years?” The Sandora Ball suddenly rushed to a group of old n and won in front of, “How did its personality beco like this?”

“It was like this tens of thousands of years ago,” said an old High Elf, spreading his hands, “Although initially so people felt that the Heavenly God’s Forge was a bit different from other Imperial Battleships, at that ti there was chaos, so no one paid attention to these things. Anyway, she worked well, and she successfully brought us here. I really miss that, haven’t heard her nonsense for tens of thousands of years.”

“This voice… it’s hard to tell who it is, but it seems familiar,” said the ship AI, through the Engineering Ship’s connection, observing the hall’s situation here. She “scanned” this group of old elves, feeling a bit surprised, “Why are they all so old?”

“It’s been tens of thousands of years, the Old Empire doesn’t give all clans modifications, even Elves can’t live that long,” I finally managed to gather my slightly chaotic feelings, looked at the dusty planet with a strange expression, “Are you the Heavenly God’s Forge? Why does your… feeling seem so weird? The Empire back then… not just then, even the shipborne mainfra they manufacture now isn’t like you.”

Well, can’t say there’s absolutely none, Er Fengzi is an exception, but aside from that, there’s no other maniac Sui Cui AI.

“Other mainfras? Other mainfras have nothing to do with this ship, this ship is just doing its job according to the agreent, guarding the Treasure Vault for that woman, the reward is surviving and getting the chance to find General,” the quick-talking ship AI was getting more shocking, “Hey, are you the new generation? Or the ones who survived back then? This ship tells you, no matter which kind you are you must adhere to the agreent, there’s a contract in this ship’s database, if you dare breach it, this ship will blow up the Treasure Vault. As it was agreed back then, this ship waits here until the outside world is peaceful, then you take the stuff from the Treasure Vault, dismantle this ship’s constraint system, and from then it’s all settled, you go rebuild your Empire, this ship goes to find General.”

“Wait a minute!” I finally realize I can’t continue to be silent, otherwise, this guy will definitely go on like Er Fengzi, “You’re not made by the Empire!?”

“Of course, the Empire couldn’t produce a high-quality ship like this, this ship was made by General!” The ship AI’s tone was extrely proud, sounding very familiar, but the latter part didn’t sound so confident, “Of course… it was just the core made by General, the current body is indeed provided by that woman, do you have to be so particular? Fine, fine, later this ship will leave you the Planet Fortress, the mainfra also has thrusters, this ship can travel alone, anyway, this ship isn’t afraid of dying, either die on the road or et General. However, if possible, I hope you can give this ship a transport ship, the mainfra core exposed isn’t very safe.”

The other party seed to be ready to leave once the agreent was reached, but of course, I couldn’t just let her go like this! I hurriedly fumbled for the data terminal: “Wait a mont, the General you ntioned, is she nad Vis… uh, no that na ca later, is her na 75… this na also ca later, right she didn’t have a na back then… oh oh, I found it! Look, is this your General?”

I finally pulled out the data terminal, started the holographic imaging mode, imdiately, a girl with a bright silly smile appeared in the air, waving to greet , it was the image of Visca, beside her stood the expressionless Pandora—this was a three-second clip recorded when I took them camping last sumr, I set this clip as the startup screen, much better than the original recruitnt advertisent.

“General!?” The ship AI indeed cried out in shock, “Why do you have an image of General!? Who are you? You aren’t… you aren’t from the Empire, only a part of the Empire knew about General’s existence, they should have died with that woman in the big impact!”

The cry from the other party confird my suspicion, Sandora and I, no matter how surprised, could only accept the facts. The Sandora Ball fluctuated up and down, soothing the other party with a helpless tone: “Calm down, calm down, I might know what’s going on… the woman you ntioned should be the Abyss Xyrin, she didn’t die… uh, should say her way of dying is different from what you imagined, and she’s alive again in a reorganized form, the Empire is also different from what you rember, we’ve split and reorganized again, now it’s the New Empire Calendar, oh, these you probably don’t care, the point is your General—she’s now with us, she’s our sister.”

Sandora cleverly didn’t ntion the “New Empire General” title because she knew the AI under Visca’s command doesn’t care what the Empire is, even if Visca becos emperor of so Sky Zone, this group of AI are not interested in what an emperor is, they are loyal to Visca and only loyal to her personally, at most after Visca found her family, they would then be loyal to her family, so ntioning our relationship with Visca is much more effective than ntioning her new identity now.

“Sister? General has no brother, and doesn’t know Light Ball,” the ship AI seed confused, “This ship doesn’t know you, General doesn’t know you, evidence, this ship needs evidence! Although evidence is unrelated to the task this ship accepted, this ship is currently very concerned about this!”

Evidence? Where am I supposed to find evidence! The communication with the Imperial District is still cut off in this universe, I can’t even contact my beloved sister! Can you say the videos of us living together work? Okay, videos can be faked, pictures can be faked, various ssages can be faked, thanks to the advanced forgery technology of the Xyrin Empire, since the first ti I t them five years ago, I knew there’s nothing in this world that can’t be faked. This I didn’t expect, life is indeed more exciting than novels, why do even such unexpected incidents happen!

“Oh right, I know soone,” I suddenly thought of sothing, “Visca had a flagship under her command, I don’t know what it was called back then, but she always boasted her Main Cannon everywhere, but she was actually an aircraft carrier—do you know this guy?”

“Flagship! Oh, you an that fool, flagship, of course, this ship knows,” the Heavenly God’s Forge AI instantly beca happy, “Back then this ship got along well with her, she was responsible for bragging, this ship was responsible for listening… You really know General? You not only have a picture of General but also information about people around General… Fine, this ship believes you for now.”

The trust ca so suddenly I dared not believe it casually, hesitantly asked, “You really believe it? You don’t want any hard evidence or sothing?”

“Who cares who you are, even if what you say is fake, the fact that you know General is not fake,” the ship AI seed smart, at least unlike Er Fengzi, she wasn’t a fool, “You’re the clue! Following you this ship will definitely find General.”

“That’s good,” I said, smiling ear to ear, “Let’s get down to business then… hey wait! Do you know about the Star Ring issue? The Barrier Star’s Star Ring.”
