Capítulo 1519: Chapter 1519: The Pantheon’s Conclusion
Uncle Kenser is usually a person who doesn’t like to talk much, and even when he does, it’s often just those classic words: very good, very good—besides expressing that he has no opinion, he hardly ever comnts. But this ti, he spoke at length about the new information from the Divine Realm and his own deductions, as if planning to say all the words he’s hoarded over ti in one go.
During his narration, I quickly understood the investigation process concerning the connection between the Void cataclysm and the recent “mass downti” event in the Divine Realm.
The “World Managent System” used by the Divine Race to manage the current world differs from the Empire’s Sovereignty Hub. The Empire’s Sovereignty Hub achieves absolute control over the entire universe through specialized facilities that manipulate spatial-temporal paraters. The architecture has significant modular traces; it can be disassembled and reassembled, and can be seen as a system that separately manages various facets of the universe through several or even dozens of super devices, with a more powerful control unit like the “World Arbitration Agency” above the Sovereignty Hub. The Divine Race’s world managent system, however, is integrated and indivisible; it is like an all-in-one device with all functionalities integrated into a single case, used to control universe paraters, and detect universe status—all function modules and software are integrated. Dingdang’s World Tree Temple is a significant example of this.
These two control thods have their pros and cons: the Empire’s Sovereignty Hub is complex and not as streamlined as the “all-in-one,” but its modular structure allows quick upgrades and changes, and flexible customization to et various requirents. It can install only the necessary managent modules for certain limited-function universes, such as a purely industrial world or a purely jumpboard world, to minimize functional wastage. The Divine Race’s world managent system is highly integrated because all functions reach completion at once, making it look concise and simple to use (consider Dingdang’s intelligence), but its drawbacks are evident: it’s impossible to customize. Once the managent system is built, the pre-installed plugins are fixed and nurous, and generally, rookies can only use the “automatic operation” function of the surface system to let these plugins operate by themselves. Trying to manually intervene and customize the system is troubleso, and in any case, only a scholar like Bingdisi could do sothing like the Genesis of bare tal.
Of course, the Divine Race’s world managent system is not entirely untouchable for customization and rewriting. For example, Dingdang added many plugins to the World Tree, but these plugins are still foolproof operations and only flashy functions. You can’t fundantally change the architecture and capabilities of the world managent system, at most like Dingdang, you might add a huge floating window on the trunk of the World Tree, which displays the words every ti the World Tree restarts: Your boot ti this ti is three and a half days, defeated by all world managent systems in the Divine Realm, it is recomnded to imdiately uninstall this plugin to avoid reputational damage to my temple—basically, that’s all it’s pretty much useless.
Two managent thods for the universe that differ in structure naturally apply different principles. Here in the Empire, they separately manipulate various universal constants, which I don’t understand how it works, so I won’t elaborate further. The Divine Race’s managent system seems connected to the Heart of the World—it’s sowhat like artificially simulating the Heart of the World or simply binding the Heart of the World to the managent system. Because the Heart of the World is the microcosm of the entire universe, the “formula pool” for all mathematical changes across the universe, controlling the Heart of the World with specific techniques is equivalent to controlling the universe. The things manufactured by the Divine Race are certainly stronger and more stable than the fragile Heart of the World, even if ssed around by a rookie like Dingdang they won’t easily crash… uh, even if it crashes it can still be restarted… In short, after Dingdang took the bla, we understood one thing: the Divine Race’s world system is linked with the Heart of the World, either it’s an enhanced artificial version of the Heart of the World, or it embeds the Heart of the World into the managent terminal.
“Now the Pantheon has analyzed all the fault cases and found no issues in the world managent system, so they’ve shifted their attention to the Heart of the World, which mirrors the system version,” Uncle Kenser patiently explained because he knew I wasn’t good at understanding these abstract things, so he explained in detail, “You need to know, even though the world managent system corresponds to and even overlaps with the Heart of the World, they can still be divided into two parts, like a system and its mirror image, and this mirror remains synchronized with the main body in real-ti.”
“Then the Old Man Alliance… I an the Pantheon found issues with the Heart of the World?” Having spent a lot of ti with Bingdisi, I almost blurted out the Pantheon as the Old Man Alliance the mont I spoke—indeed, close to goodness turns red, close to ink turns black, close to Bingdisi turns into hooliganism easily.
“Until today, everything was just speculation,” Kenser nodded, “because all encountered accidents were small-scale faults, even the worst cases couldn’t reach a level affecting cosmic balance, so even if the Heart of the World had problems they didn’t show much, the Pantheon could only deduce a general direction, and then issued a long-term observation task to us managent gods who encountered faults. Each managent god generally governs more than one world, so we issued these observation tasks to our followers. Today’s coincidence, they just brought the observation data over, and the Pantheon sent a new notification saying so managent gods had already submitted the data days ago, the Pantheon sent back those data and the research process on the data analysis, Lin and I just compared everything and confird the Pantheon’s research is correct.”
I looked at Uncle Kenser with slight surprise, unexpectedly he is soone who doesn’t blindly follow authority: even after the Pantheon released the conclusion, he still wanted to verify it himself. By this research spirit, he shouldn’t be mingling with the Dingdang Team, known as the problematic child group of five—Uncle Kenser, are you a hidden master of the outside world?
As soon as I showed that surprised expression, Bingdisi wandered over from the side and patted my shoulder: “Don’t listen to his boasting, he just forgot the submission date of the data, only called his Pope today, and the Pantheon just replied they wouldn’t accept any docunts anymore—he is just pretending to study the material characterizing himself as diligent and studious. I bet when you were in school and the teacher called you to answer questions you couldn’t, you pretended to seriously read your book hurriedly…”
Kenser’s old face was full of embarrassnt: “Lord Bingdisi, please have so rcy, the children are here…”
Bingdisi shrugged with a hooligan spirit, her gaze fell on Will: “Kid, do you want to follow ? I’m also a big na in the Light System, and now is the right ti because my subordinates are dead out, recruiting for soldiers under the banner of Holy her mother…”
Village version Gandalf imdiately declared righteously: “Thanks to God’s grace, but Will’s loyalty to my master remains eternally unchanged, since receiving the Holy Light’s grace and surviving the plague at ten years old, I will not pledge loyalty to another god.”
Only then did I understand why this old man with a white beard was so loyal to Kenser, turns out he was saved by the church or Kenser himself… leaving that aside, Bingdisi’s audacity is impressive, digging a wall in front of people.
Bingdisi’s mischief wasn’t over yet, she turned to the Amazon Female Pope: “Tch, another stubborn guy… how about this little girl over here? Your spirit seems to match mine, my dear young lady, I see you as a heroic woman, want to learn how to wield a teor Hamr with ?”
I: “…” Lord Bing, I view you as a heroic woman too!
Lin originally thought she had nothing to do, yet now discovered she was sohow shot while lying down, so she weakly said: “Lord Bingdisi, don’t be like this, Quina is very stubborn…”
The Amazon woman indeed adjusted her expression and her gaze turned sharp: “Since cracking out of my eggshell, Quina has dedicated herself solely to following the Dragon God, not interested in your offer.”
I nearly choked on my own saliva: “Eggshell?”
“Strange to you?” Quina glanced at , “I am a Giant Dragon, naturally ca from an eggshell. The Dragon God found the Dragon Egg in a destroyed nest and personally hatched out, this is parental kindness.”
Then she recalled, her expression turned more serious: “Although the Dragon God fed so much as a child it nearly killed , thanks to that I am stronger than the average Giant Dragon.”
The Dragon God Girl next to had a flushed face, bowing her head as she focused on eating. I patted her shoulder and earnestly said, “You shouldn’t expect others to et the standards of your two mouths—besides, even if you have two mouths, you only have one stomach… By the way, can you hatch eggs too?”
Lin’s face was almost buried in her plate, her voice muffled, “I learned from my mom… but I never thought I could actually hatch sothing. I picked up a Dragon Egg from the ruins back then, thinking it was dead and planned to bring it back to the temple for burial. But when it was hanging on , suddenly a little girl popped out… and that’s how we got Quina.”
I looked at the Muscle Woman Pope in front of , then at Lin, who was almost half the size of the forr, and felt that the life of gods was exceedingly colorful… I wondered if this Quina had the habit of keeping her eggshells like those little crows.
“If you don’t want to, you don’t have to. It’s a good thing, but stop making excuses,” Bingdisi saw that no one was paying attention to her, so she lazily swayed her body and went back to chatting idly with Fina. “Just reminds of the kids back in the day…”
Others might not have heard clearly, but I did. Watching Bingdisi’s back, I wanted to say sothing, but I suppressed the urge: I understand this female hooligan too well; if I go over to comfort her now, it’s likely she’ll shout “Holy Light” while slapping in the face with a brick.
I turned my head, “Alright, alright, let’s continue with discussing the Void Catastrophe and Heart of the World.”
“There’s basically not much more we can say about it,” Uncle Kenser spread his hands, “The collective problem of the Heart of the World implies that there’s an issue with the basic templates across all universes. Based on the ‘random distribution’ phenonon of the incident, it’s clear that this issue is not limited to templates or even to the Void Quadrant, and nothing else but a Void Catastrophe could affect such a wide range. Additionally, it’s related to the inherent nature of the Heart of the World: whatever happens in the universe, the Heart of the World always reacts first. The universe’s destruction begins with the chaos of the Heart of the World, and based on the collected observational data, the malfunction of the Heart of the World tends towards self-disassembly—consistent with the characteristic of ‘zeroing’. Of course, the current situation is far from the point where the universe is about to be destroyed. But over at the Pantheon, they’ve judged that the initial effects of the Void Catastrophe have started to manifest; at least… the Order World is already sowhat unstable.”
My eyebrows tightened imdiately, feeling a mountain of pressure but also a bit of wishful thinking, “Why hasn’t the Empire discovered it? Could it be you’ve misjudged?”
“Because you guys simply don’t pay attention to the Heart of the World, your control of the universe is based on other technical foundations,” Uncle Kenser, uncharacteristically very serious, said, “Xyrin Apostles have strong purposefulness, rarely investing enthusiasm in ‘irrelevant matters’. I’ve heard that since you developed the current universe control technology, you haven’t really researched the Heart of the World anymore—after all, there’s not much to study about it, it’s technically not very complex, just an information entanglent point. I suppose only a couple of people in your research institute routinely check a few Heart of the World points, and such sampling inspections simply can’t detect this problem. See, it took us Divine Race almost a month, and tracking a large number of samples, to finally determine there’s an issue with the Heart of the World.”
I opened my mouth, finding myself unable to refute that, so I waved my hand in slight frustration, “Okay, okay… I really didn’t expect it to co so soon, it… it’s way too early.”
I sat on a chair, looking at the bustling scene around and contemplating the impending Void Catastrophe. A feeling of irritability and urgency simultaneously rose from my heart, which for soone with my laid-back personality, was no simple feat. Why did everything have to co so fast?
The Void Catastrophe always seed like a distant matter to . Even when observing the Discontinuous Belt or hearing the news brought by Abyss Xyrin, I didn’t feel the impending catastrophe as tangibly as now. In the end, it was probably because I hadn’t seen any real “natural disaster” before. It’s like hearing about earthquakes and volcanoes; no matter how big the disaster sounds, as long as you haven’t seen or personally experienced it, you never really feel it. But once you experience it yourself, or even just see it from a distance—the sense of impending disaster becos real.
I feel my situation is sowhat similar: the Void Catastrophe affects only the operational system used by the Divine Race, yet it’s now crossed the critical boundary from the virtual to the real. Once this catastrophe transitions from abstract data and intricate descriptions into tangible disasters—even if just a trivial disaster—the pressure it brings amplifies unprecedentedly.
Uncle Kenser could naturally see the change in my feelings, but he just smiled kindly. For once, I saw the calmness of an elder on this old rascal who usually knows only how to grab discounted eggs with retired folks. He smiled, “Don’t worry, the Heart of the World is quite sensitive, so its alarms often co very early. Even the notification from the Pantheon didn’t use particularly urgent language, and Father God hasn’t issued an ergency command, so we still have plenty of ti. Besides, to be honest… there are only so many individuals in the entire Void who can influence this disaster, and if even you are at a loss, there are very few who can remain calm.”
I sighed, thankful for my invisible, intangible mom, who gave this carefree personality. After a brief daze, I cald down, thinking about Abyss Xyrin’s plan, feeling that her “grand operation” should be in its final step, which made feel slightly more at ease.
Regarding the progress of Abyss Xyrin’s “grand operation,” it can be confird that the necessary “materials” have already been collected, the site needed for bridge-building is almost ready, and she has prepared the “Startup Terminal.” So, it seems the only things left are suppressing the new army and starting the bridge-building in cooperation with Empire and Divine Race, both of which can be done simultaneously, and ti should be sufficient. My only uncertainty now is about the difficulty of this “bridge-building.” Abyss Xyrin has never explicitly stated this detail, as she seems to be waiting for Father God and Sister Hila to arrive here before revealing it, which leaves sowhat nervous about it.
Though I’m not too sure what the so-called Startup Terminal looks like or what steps are needed to activate it, my intuition tells that bridge-building certainly isn’t an easy task. Even if all materials are prepared and all technical issues are resolved, it would still take a lot of effort, and according to Abyss Xyrin, bridge-building requires the cooperation of super civilizations on both sides of the Void, adding even more complexity. So even though bridge-building is down to the final step, I dare not be overly optimistic. No matter how I see it, this final step seems to be the real highlight of trouble.
But now there’s nothing more I can do, so-called professional matters should be left to the professionals, and I believe the experts in each field will do their utmost to handle these affairs well, so I should just perform my role properly…
Uh, to be a stabilizing force for morale.
After sorting out my thoughts, I naturally felt at ease. I looked up at the lively scene in the small shop familiar to , watching Kenser and Lin chatting with their believers, Bingdisi continuing to gossip with Fina or Bellavilla, Bieberu floating innocently in the air unsure of what to do, and a smile crept onto my face: Rember one thing, don’t forget your original intent, and don’t let any hardships disturb what’s in front of you.
The sky hasn’t fallen yet.
Thinking of this, I got up and walked towards Bingdisi—before the sky falls, let’s help this seemingly burly female hooligan patch the sky. (To be continued.
