(Speaking of which, I suppose asking for monthly votes during the New Year isn’t a problem, right? Everyone with monthly votes, throw them in. This month there’s no double points, so don’t keep them hidden!)

Sandora, Lin Xue, Alaya, plus myself, our family of four (Alaya is almost like a bound equipnt, so it’s ok to count her as family, right?) leisurely wandered along Sky Do Avenue. The "Discontinuous Belt" incident had everyone’s nerves tense for a mont, but the successful application of the "On" system brought imnse joy. Such swings in mood need a relaxing walk to ease the tension since not everyone has nerves as thick-skinned as Qianqian’s, which are almost terminally damaged; today’s barrage of shocking news tends to lead to neuroses.

Although Sky Do Avenue appears to be the main thoroughfare of Heavenly Realm City, in reality, it’s rarely used as a transportation route: most inhabitants of this city are accustod to flying, even those beyond Xyrin Angels. Thus, patrolling here are mostly mindless magic soldiers. Sky Do Avenue often serves as a primary energy grid for the city and acts as a "sensory gauge" between buildings. These magnificent floating bridges, similar to sea urchins, precisely shape the city and facilitate easy structural modifications or new constructions: countless sensory base points line each side of Sky Do Avenue, interweaving to form a three-dinsional grid. These are both rulers and creators of spatial coordinates, ensuring every structure in Heavenly Realm City is positioned within this sensory grid and can be readily relocated. Structures can even swiftly adjust their function via space transmission—sothing I initially didn’t know until chatting with Orelia recently, that angel kite ntioned it.

Sky Do Avenue has many similar extension functions; these grand bridges are the backbone of Heavenly Realm City. Nonetheless, these high-tech things are of little relevance to ; the scenic views here suffice.

Clouds swirl underfoot, a faint sound of wind chis echoes from afar, never ceasing. This wind chi sound naturally emanates from mysterious side buildings in operation; though unending, it’s never tireso. We strolled across the elevated bridge amidst clouds, surrounded by palaces of the sky and sea of clouds, feeling like walking in the realm of gods in a myth... Oh, strictly speaking, this isn’t wrong since this place is indeed a divine realm, though the gods here are sowhat unreliable.

"If Qianqian ca along, she’d have jumped multiple tis by now," muttered Sandora, glancing at the swirling cloud sea beneath. At tis, this fog layers onto Sky Do Avenue’s surface, making the path hard to discern with the naked eye—a thrilling experience, yet undeniably a stunning spectacle of the "Cloud Slope." Previously, while leading Qianqian here for a stroll, that girl adored this view, often whimsically hopping down just to see where she’d drop: Heavenly Realm City is a colossal spherical entity with complex artificial gravity orientations. Jumping from the upper avenue, your trajectory midair may vary, and predicting your landing point is impossible. Hence, it’s an exhilarating sport. Occasionally, Qianqian would jump around here for half a day, her most magnificent feat being knocking over Orelia six tis consecutively...

Looking at the thin clouds spreading beneath, surrounded by magnificent scenery, I sighed, "I don’t know how many tis Qianqian would jump down, but I know Alaya definitely fell down again..."

My words were barely finished when a burst of Holy Light erupted from the nearby clouds, and Alaya flew out in a fluster, crying, "Lord Brother, I just bumped into soone!"

"To be honest, I sotis think there’s quite a character gap between mysterious side apostles and technology side apostles," I said to Sandora while tidying Alaya’s slightly disheveled feathers after pulling her over. "Look at this city, seemingly relaxed, with mysterious side apostles appearing leisurely and unhurried."

"Ravens often remark on Scorpions’ roughness, seeing themselves as elegant spell casters," Sandora laughed. "Mysterious system apostles favor solving problems with elegance and efficiency. However, never assu they’re truly gentle; Xyrin Apostles lack much ’soft’ essence at heart—like this muddled angel beside you, renowned on the battlefield."

I glanced at Alaya, who responded with a silly smile, nodding vigorously while saying, "Yes, Lord Brother, I’m very decisive on the battlefield."

Deciding to minimize eye contact with Alaya to preserve intelligence, I gazed into the distance: the nearest facility was a large plaza where over a dozen soldiers, clad in Empire mysterious side military uniforms (similar to standard military outfits but with different patterns), were directing a large number of magic servants to test a sizable apparatus, with many other bustling sites further away.

"This place really livens up," Lin Xue comnted as she surveyed alongside , showing a rather sentintal expression, "Even faster than Shadow City."

"Yet most races can’t adapt to such a place," I remarked, observing the surrounding cloud sea and magnificent floating palaces that challenge acrophobia limits, shrugging helplessly, "Look at these pits every three ters and ridges every five; one needs imnsely strong ntal fortitude to live here."

Heavenly Realm City has always been sealed away from the public, previously holding the highest access restrictions among several Empire capital spaces—far surpassing Shadow City and Avalon. Then, the rationale was due to Mysterious Side Mother Star needing massive reconstruction upon activation, besides the Empire’s mysterious side power being highly confidential, thus undisclosed externally. However, these reasons now bear little impact: reconstruction and repair near completion, what remains is expansion and facility addition. As it gradually expands, Heavenly Realm City’s outskirts can open to Servant Army like Shadow City, followed by Macro World’s inclusion. Additionally, Empire’s mysterious side powers are no longer secrets; even Fallen Apostle is aware of our Magic Power Army, Heavenly Realm City’s affairs needn’t remain sealed.

However, although it’s open to everyone, I’m sincerely curious about how many people actually dare to settle in a magical place like this...

Look, Alaya fell down again.

The Sky Do Avenue serves as the skeletal frawork and "theoretical path" of the Heavenly Realm City (which is practically rarely traveled), with several main routes connecting so special places. The one we’re on leads to the Giant Dragon Kingdom.

At the end of the Silver Avenue is a massive floating island, seamlessly "welded" to the avenue in a natural manner, as if the floating island had transford and extended a Silver Sky Bridge. This floating island is the symbolic "gate" of the Giant Dragon Kingdom. Moving beyond this floating island, through a cloud layer like a wall screen, you’ll see a group of hanging mountain ranges similar to ocean archipelagos, the ho of guardian dragons where the guardian dragons of the Heavenly Realm City reside when not on patrol duty. We haven’t been here for a long ti, and I wonder how those distinct guardian dragons have been doing lately. Since we’re free anyway, a few of us followed the Sky Do Avenue to the Giant Dragon Kingdom (given that the road is quite long, we flew part of the way). As soon as we passed through the cloud wall hiding the entire floating island cluster, I saw a silver-white Flying Dragon swiftly gliding past in front of us. It twisted mid-air to glance and hurriedly turned to fly back: "Ah, Boss Emperor Majesty!"

: "Char, what’s with that title?"

The Silver Dragon conjured a suspended ice platform in the air and stopped on it, scratching its head with a dragon wing: "I’ve been researching the Total Network these days, and it’s pretty chaotic... Boss Emperor Majesty, how co you’re visiting?"

"Uh... just strolling around," I looked up around, suddenly noticing a distant floating mountain was upside down, "Why is that mountain upside-down again?"

"Didn’t Lord Lin visit recently? She knocked it over," Silver Dragon Char wagged its tail indifferently, "That mountain doesn’t house dragons anymore; we specifically use it to slow down Lord Lin’s descent. There’s even a counter on the mountain to tally how often Lord Lin lands."

: "..."

That mighty clumsy dragon indeed causes quite so trouble.

Right then, I heard the sound of giant wings stirring the air coming from the distance. Following the sound, another Flying Dragon that looked sowhat different from the guardian dragons popped its head out of the cloud. This dragon saw us as it hastily flew over and let out a long call—I assud it was greeting us, but I couldn’t understand it at all.

However, when this Flying Dragon approached us and transford into a human form in mid-air, I recognized them: tall stature, dark and simple leather armor, silver short hair, a beautiful yet stiff and distant face, and pale violet thin lips. Isn’t this Soya, whom we t recently in the Twin Star World?

"Yo, Soya, you’re here?" I greeted her with a hint of surprise. Despite being in human form, she, like us, floated stably in mid-air, showing us a slight smile: "Should I call you Emperor Majesty or sothing else?"

"Call whatever you like, I don’t care about that," I waved my hand and looked at her with mild surprise, "You can smile now?"

"What’s so strange about smiling?" Soya looked at puzzled, "Have I never smiled before?"

"You used to look slightly better smiling than crying," Lin Xue joked beside , "Most of the ti, your expression looked just like a plaster cast."

"It was just that there wasn’t much to be happy about back then," Soya’s expression was calm, "In the beginning, it was indeed a bit uncomfortable, after all, I hadn’t truly laughed in over two thousand years, but now it’s fine. By the way, if you don’t mind, I’ll keep calling you Chen, right? I’d rather not have your Guards arrest ."

I turned to glance at Char: "However you call is better than how this guy calls ."

Since our last parting on the Red Moon-Haisenwood Twin Stars, this is the first ti I’ve seen Soya again. She genuinely looks much better now compared to that ti. Although she still looks the sa outwardly, the forr paralyzed Dragon Sister always seed shrouded in an unshakeable sense of loneliness and alienation. Even when she was with several friends, this sense of loneliness slightly lessened, but she always gave off a sad vibe. Presently, Soya seems more lively; the coldness in her deanour has beco more vibrant. This change might be too subtle for her to notice herself, but we outsiders can easily perceive it.

"How are things going now?" I smiled warmly at Soya, who returned a faint but heartfelt smile: "If I have to say, it’s like living again...the confused days of the last two thousand years have finally ended. I used to always wonder what the aning of my existence was, but now I seem to feel alive again. The dragons here are sowhat different from my kin, but as you said, the essence of the Dragon Clan in every world is the sa. Being with them truly feels like coming ho."

"Planning to reside in Heavenly Realm City permanently, or are you heading back?" Lin Xue asked her about her future plans.

"Anyway, I can travel freely; I’ll stay here for a while before heading back to Haisenwood," Soya blinked, "There are four guys there running around like mad, waiting for to help; can’t just abandon them now."

Upon hearing her ntion matters back at Haisenwood-Red Moon, my curiosity about those foolish big guys was piqued: "What are those guys busy with lately?"

Though Soya has been spending ti in Heavenly Realm City lately, she’s undoubtedly keeping an eye on her hotown affairs, surely well aware of her old friends’ situations.

"Edwin is busy embellishing the story of the Goddess purifying the Dark Moon and spreading it worldwide, with so Dark Moon People already appearing near the church as ’Cleaners.’ They say everything is going smoothly, without any upheaval. The foolish big guy is tidying his Dark Moon Order while collaborating with Edwin to reopen the Earth-Moon Connection Bridge. Antier woke up recently and finally clarified her two-thousand-year sleep; she is assisting Edwin and the big guy, darting between the two planets and performing miracles to facilitate their normal communication. As for Lili...she’s still her usual self, diligently acting as a great assistant behind the big guy, keeping up her one-sided love."

"She plans to keep this one-sided love going forever, huh?" Lin Xue exclaid in surprise.

"Who knows?" Soya shrugged, "Seems like there is so change. Edwin’s reports suggest Lili is ’actively advancing,’ though she’s still trapped in her one-sided affection for now."

We shared a knowing chuckle, and Lin Xue hugged Soya’s arm with earnest persuasion: "Attacks need to be forceful, otherwise it’s just perpetual unrequited love! You must remind that cat; aggressive action is crucial! Especially since she’s infatuated with soone as dense as a rock; you’ve got to gnaw at that kind of person hard to get through..."

I looked at my lady speechless: "How much resentnt do you hold exactly?"

Lin Xue rolled her eyes at charmingly: "Shut up; you blockhead."

Soya watched us in bewildernt, then murmured thoughtfully: "Seems like you guys have quite the story too?"

"I’ve got plenty of stories with this blockhead," the lady who used to be pure as water in matters of romance now openly shares her love history; she poked my arm as she chatted with Soya, "That foolish big guy is even dumber than a blockhead; I’m honestly worried that cat can’t conquer him...How about this, when I have ti, I’ll personally teach that cat a few tricks; I’ve got the secret manuals..."

Sandora and I were stunned, and I patted Lin Xue’s arm: "You’re the one handing out advice? You were unbelievably awkward back in the day; couldn’t even talk properly then..."

"Get out of here, that was an attack, don’t you understand," Lin Xue said while fumbling through her Personal Space to pull out several books, handing them to Soya, "Take these; I used them while ssing around with this blockhead. The ones on top are Western-style, while the ones below are Chinese-style. Tell that cat to focus on reading the Chapters about Joint Techniques and single-strike defensive moves for won..."

I hurriedly grabbed this lady and twisted her cheek: "Just don’t make trouble for others, can you!"

Well, finally recalling the fear of being dominated by the lady’s Fighting Skills: turns out her idea of ’aggressive action’ is rooted in her remarkably awkward tsundere ways; with those offensive strategies and that large stack of manuals, well...Oh, the foolish big guy might be physically fit enough, so let’s leave it at that.

I released Lin Xue, and earnestly advised Soya: "Let that little black cat study hard; then, we’ll visit the hospital to find the big guy."

Soya remained utterly confused: "?"

We then went on to discuss the other World Fragnts of the Twin Star World; obviously, Soya wasn’t familiar with these situations, but Silver Dragon Char led a part of the Guardian Dragons in welcoming those World Fragnts, so he knew in detail.

All World Fragnts have safely settled in; now they’ve been integrated into a blank Universe and arranged within a new Constant Star System, with a new ho matching their old environnts as closely as possible. The world zero-component manufacturing center even worked overti to create two special-model Constant Stars for the natives. Immigrants from the World Fragnts are aware of the events that transpired; as expected, so chaos occurred. But the initial disorder passed smoothly with the efforts of the Tree Elf Ambassadors, and most immigrants accepted the fact that they’d just survived a Doomsday—those who couldn’t accept had already jumped off buildings.

Now, this new world is nad the "Red Moon-Haisenwood World," although besides this na, there’s also a nurical designation, which I didn’t rember.

"There was a slight problem when arranging the starry sky," Char rumbled on, "One Race based its primary culture on astrology, treating the stars as universal truths, but now the stars are all different. They insist it’s a sign of world upheaval, and this upheaval will spread to the ground sooner or later. This Race is still in a primitive phase, entirely unaware of planetary concepts, and we can’t move the Constant Stars just to please them."

"How did you resolve it later?" I glanced at Char.

"We Dragons were only there to help maintain Order; resolving the issue fell to the Life Goddess Sect’s faith specialists, who taught the locals to play poker and toss grass stalks, perfectly resolving the issue..."

I: "Those scamrs!" (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, you’re welco to vote for it at Qidian (qidian) with recomndations or monthly votes. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m.qidian.)
