(First of all, happy National Day to everyone, envy those who have a long holiday—then asking for monthly tickets...)

After the Far Border issue was resolved, the matters I had to handle seed to have suddenly increased. After resting at ho for rely two days, various work reports from the subordinate information network and project plans marked as "urgent, requiring Royal Family’s review" were piled up in front of . Excluding daily affairs, most of what’s left relates to events I’ve recently encountered:

We need to re-explore the universe where the Hotown material was discovered. The second batch of the scientific expedition team is set to depart for the Far Border within 24 hours. Taville has already organized the original working group and added a dozen of her own Mass Projections. This ti, she plans to thoroughly overturn that universe while preparing for the later "World Traction," because Sandora plans to drag that universe into the Empire’s territory for long-term observation, as she’s still determined to find the coordinates of the Hotown World.

The immigration work for the Heisen Tribe has already begun. We plan to construct three World Gates to et immigration needs because the Heisen Tribe’s population is substantial, and their constructed Planet Fortresses need to be moved to the new ho as well. Therefore, the second and third World Gates are quite large and might take a few days to complete. Currently, a small, rapidly installed World Gate is already in use, designed to guide the Heisen Advance Team to their new ho: a carefully selected universe, newly activated, with all resources at 100% status.

Speaking of these "mass-produced universes," the New Empire is no longer in the initial impoverished stage. We have many resource-abundant and diverse worlds available for our clans to reside. A substantial portion of these new worlds have been created by the Empire over the past two years: by generating an information singularity, then accurately guiding and catalyzing it into a universe. In fact, this technological difficulty isn’t high. The title of Creator God sounds prestigious, but according to Taville, as long as one masters the formula for information deduction and can create the most basic "point," creating a world isn’t much more complex than making a warship cannon. Most processes can be automatically completed by cosmic laws, while the catalysis can be easily achieved through the tiless nature of the Void. Using the Void Device, the billion-year universe evolution can be collapsed into a "conclusive state" ford in seconds. Taville still can’t comprehend how Dingdang’s retakes as Creator God lasted several tens of thousands of years... Anyway, we won’t discuss this issue. In short, these past two years the Empire has begun making affordable and practical "commodity universes"; additionally, so new worlds are resources supported by the Star Domain Divine Race as friends—okay, actually they’re private assets of the Tiaozi Five; they finally felt a bit uneasy just eating and drinking in my ho, so they gave the Empire so yet-to-operate universes as rent. Can we not complain about this rent issue?

The new ho arranged for the Heisen Tribe is a stable-type universe where all rules closely resemble their "old ho," since this race has already passed the advanced stage of universal exploration. There’s no need to let them adapt anew to the laws of a new world. Next, the Heisen Tribe just needs to establish a ho in their new world and quickly integrate into the Empire’s Total Network. Once their transmission channel connecting other worlds operates stably, this race will officially beco a mber of the Imperial Family. Sandora has arranged for Tree Elves and the Civilization Community’s "Guide" to be the Heisen Tribe’s Guide. The forr has excellent Affinity and has interacted with the Old Empire, making them the ideal guides for welcoming new brothers. In fact, Tree Elves are almost active every ti a race joins the Imperial Camp for the first ti; after introducing this big family to new mbers in the Macro World or the Imperial Family, they usually wrap up with "Welco to your new ho, my brother/sister," which has basically beco the standard greeting for the Empire’s new mbers. The Civilization Community shares several personality traits with the Heisen Tribe, though the latter appears more "mysterious," and both should harmonize in most aspects. For the Heisen people, encountering a group similar in temperant should make it easier to blend into the collective in an unfamiliar environnt.

Following this, there’s the matter of assimilating the Harlan Remnant and restructuring leader-level Fallen Apostles such as Harlan and Zhadom. Although the number of Fallen Apostles we captured in battle is limited, that’s relative to the entire legion’s scale. In fact, the number of Fallen Apostles the Imperial Army captured this ti can be described as unprecedented. Aside from the feat last ti when Xiao Xue tricked an entire fleet from the enemy’s main camp, this ti we captured the most Fallen Apostles ever, limited in fleet quantity, but the number of soldiers and commanders combined has reached hundreds of thousands—you can imagine how many large parade grounds that many people would fill. Qianqian helped count the numbers using football fields as the unit: we captured half a football field of various commanders, two football fields of Royal Guards, and nurous football fields of regular soldiers—that’s Qianqian’s original words.

Speaking of which, the small half legion Xiao Xue tricked last ti were subordinates of Harlan, with the first person captured being Carter Carlow, also Harlan’s subordinate. Vincent Carlow and his fleet captured last ti were also Harlan’s subordinates. This ti, not only did we capture Harlan’s subordinates again, but we also caught Harlan himself—which brings a sudden sense of sympathy...

All in all, there’s a significant amount of arrangents needed. I’m planning to assign ordinary soldiers and mid-to-lower-level commanders from Harlan’s old troops into Visca’s Abyss Army. With this batch of new recruits, Visca’s legion will be completely ford; she and Pandora now each have a complete General Independent Legion (independent of major legions, directly commanded by the Imperial General, quick response, and elite legion), which undoubtedly provides substantial support in tis of the Empire’s successive wars and slight troop tensions. Another portion of Abyssalized Apostles can be mixed into the existing Abyss Army of the Empire; due to the special nature of these troops, they remain independent of the Empire’s major legions, executing operations specifically targeted at Fallen Apostles or reconnaissance tasks, occasionally collaborating with the Regular Army. With increasing tensions between the Empire and Fallen Apostles, the gap in this special operations unit becos increasingly apparent, urgently requiring new blood to fill in.

As for leader-level apostles like Harlan and Zhadom, it’s best, of course, to continue doing their old jobs and lead troops into battle. The size of the Abyss Forces is now growing; the Abyss Apostle has beco an undeniable group under the New Empire’s rule. However, they’re lacking high-level commanders (after all, capturing a leader can sotis be more difficult than capturing ten thousand soldiers). Usually, these troops are managed by Visca, but honestly—I think Visca is less competent than Pandora... The latter at least has so sense of being a general, yet Visca’s favorite pasti is crouching in the corner counting ants and chatting with Qianqian’s pet Brazilian tortoise. I truly feel Harlan and Zhadom’s joining is incredibly tily!

Just what Harlan’s opinion is will ultimately depend on his own thoughts. If he decides to temporarily retire for three to five years like Bellavilla did back in the day, giving himself an eight or nine hundred day vacation, then there’s nothing I can do... After all, he was a forr Emperor, right? And the last ti I gave him a thorough thrashing, I still feel a bit guilty about it...

I should have tied Harlan up back then and had Xiao Xue take action; that girl never seems to feel guilty no matter what she does.

However, amidst these troubling affairs, there’s exciting news: it’s about Harlan’s Conqueror Fleet...

Harlan’s Conqueror Fleet is definitely a substantial gift, and it’s been sothing the New Empire has been yearning for a long ti—there was a period when my dreams were all about hula hoops, right after Harlan’s Conqueror Fleet first appeared on the border battlefield in those few days. This ti we’ve finally obtained a complete sample of these super battleships. With Taville’s ability, she should soon find a way to replicate these spaceships. Then we’ll finally be able to catch up to the Fallen Apostles in the area of super battleships.

Of course, due to fierce combat, the Imperial Army wasn’t able to smoothly capture all of Harlan’s Conqueror warships. Apart from the four Conqueror Cores I disard at the start of the battle, the remaining super battleships were mostly destroyed or self-destructed in violent combat. We’ve only preserved two severely damaged warships, but this has already made Taville and others interested in this matter overjoyed. The four intact cores, and two prototype ships that, while damaged, are not beyond repair, led Sandora to eat six bowls of rice just at noon today while looking at pictures of those ships. You can see how significant these items are to the Empire. Taville is now organizing her most trusted advanced assistants to repair those two damaged ships while she herself disassembles those four cores; the spectacled lady is completely imrsed in a sea of spheres and loops and can’t extricate herself... She sent over twenty technical reports that I can’t understand at all. The reports concluded with a concise summary: "Your Majesty, if you can’t understand them, just mark them as read; I’m rely expressing my emotions."

Though I felt there might be sothing worth complaining about, I still happily marked them as "read."

Things outside the Conqueror Fleet aren’t so pleasant: the Imperial Army’s damage reports, the recovery schedule of the various legions, the intelligence reports from the Fallen Apostle border: signs that enemy activity seems to be picking up again, and Sandora’s "Ancestor Revival Plan." My Queen seems to have real confidence in reviving the ancestors, but the plan hasn’t even started before being t with tons of technical problems. These technical problems have also been compiled by Taville into dozens of incomprehensible reports, which also concluded with a concise summary: "Your Majesty, if you can’t understand them, just put them aside for now; basically, it ans the revival failure rate exceeds ninety percent."

I don’t know if Sandora can accept that failure rate.

Since finishing lunch, I’ve been sitting in the study reading reports, not moving until the sun set outside, and when the school’s dismissal bell sounded faintly nearby, I felt as if I had finally transford into a good leader worried about the nation and the people—a prematurely aging hunched-over balding one bound to have a terminal illness eventually, although I don’t think I’ll get a terminal illness, but this mindset is truly unsustainable. Staring out the window at the Little Crow catching mice, Qianqian catching the Little Crow, and my sister catching Qianqian, I felt extrely agitated. I started pulling out my hair, strand by strand, wishing everything in front of could automatically solve itself in an instant. Noticing the commotion beside her, the Little Doll, who had been reading a comic book larger than herself all afternoon, fluttered over. At least this girl had so heart; she decided to help—

She helped pull my hair, strand by strand, pulling my hair...

I can no longer understand the odd reactions of the strange group of people around —Qianqian virus is spreading widely, and more and more people are losing their minds.

"Go away, I’m busy with serious stuff here."

I earnestly removed the little doll from my head, placing the little girl on the table by pinching her under my arm. Speaking of which, this little fellow seed to have not done anything useful by following the adults on this expedition. Little Crow and Little Baobao at least explored, I an helped find Harlan’s clues, saving precious ti for the army; this SD doll was simply busy watching the excitent and fighting with Lilina from start to finish. The only useful thing she did was leading her cute army of three-headed munchkins to help the Heisen Tribe treat the wounded and repair the spaceship after the battle: those little fellows, only half a ter tall, were agile and efficient at such tasks. Most importantly, they loved crawling through pipelines and various spaceship breakage zones, making them good prospects for engineering soldiers—provided they didn’t get stuck.

But despite not doing much serious work, the little doll herself seed quite satisfied with this expedition, and she’s not throwing tantrums after returning.

"What serious work are you busy with?" The little doll walked kicking on the table, "You’ve been daydreaming for half an hour."

I thought for a mont, realizing I had no rebuttal, so I simply put aside what I had and conveniently placed the little doll on my shoulder: "Alright, let’s go for a stroll in Shadow City."

The little doll was just looking for attention and likely didn’t care where to go or what to do, so she instantly beca happy, grabbing my head like a steering wheel and twisting it around: I’m grateful she didn’t intend to stick a rearview mirror in my ear. This girl has been sitting on my shoulders all the ti and is slowly developing so strange habits. Last ti, seeing her hugging a car magazine scared ...

Thinking this, I heard a sudden cry from my shoulder: "Dumb-dumb, mind bending... wow!" "Bam!"

"Anwina! Co fix the door!"

Ten minutes later, I was strolling down the busy and lively streets of Shadow City, as always, with the little doll perched on my shoulder. The SD doll was trying to pull out all my hair, and when realizing how hard that was, she resorted to nibbling at my head. We t many acquaintances along the way. Long-ti inhabitants of Shadow City were used to seeing His Majesty casually strolling about and greeted him warmly: "Good afternoon, Your Majesty." "Your Majesty is taking the Little Princess out again?" "You’ve been bitten again, Your Majesty?" "You’re still being bitten, Your Majesty?"

Such remarks, leaving one feeling lancholic.

I looked up at the sky; Gaia’s majestic figure still hung upside-down in the sky, but at the distant horizon appeared sothing new—a massive cube. Well, it’s part of a cube; due to its position, half of it was obscured behind Gaia, and from Shadow City’s perspective, only a jagged right-angled cone protruding from Gaia’s curved terrain was visible. This was the "General Star" dragged back from the Heisen’s holand recently, a cube "planet" Visca had crafted back in the day. Now, this blocky planet, forcibly fixed using equipnt and frawork, boldly hung beside Gaia, forming an odd Three-Star System with Gaia and Shadow City’s Floating Continent. Now, I sowhat understand what the mad AI ant: I’ve no idea what use this cube planet is. It’s absolutely unfit for living; due to its shape, only the central part of each face has normal gravity, while near the edges, gravity angles nearly 40 degrees with the ground. It might make a great tourist spot where visitors can witness astonishing landscapes and experience mythical tales like "walking to the end of the land and seeing before them infinite outer space, with another vertical land beneath their feet." In any case, Qianqian is already planning a tourism project, intending to build a bunch of parks and amusent parks on the cube General Star. Of course, Qianqian has many plans, so let’s not ask about the detailed specifics of this tourist project...

Unconsciously, I found myself carrying the little doll away from the bustling comrcial street. She wasn’t keen on crowds, hence showed little interest in anything on the comrcial street, prompting to seek quiet places, ultimately noticing that the two of us were near the military area: here, the quietest spot.

Not far ahead lay a quiet path, ending at a small store that was out of place with the surrounding military buildings, a simple sign hung out front: Little Xi Dessert Shop.

I pondered, thinking it related to my usual habit of wandering nearby with Sandora. Under the Queen’s reflexive training, I could navigate to this spot even blindfolded...

"Dumb-dumb, I want sothing to eat!" The little doll tugged on my ear forcefully, "Hurry up, hurry up!"

I smartened up this ti, holding the little doll in my arms to prevent her from bumping her head when entering: of course, another reason being that the little girl had already jumped off with a swift sound ten ters away from the door, scared from collisions.

Accompanied by a lodious bell chi, I walked into Sylvia’s dessert shop with the little doll in my arms. As expected, it was as tranquil as usual—or lack of business, if you insist. The artificial twilight of Shadow City poured in through the spacious glass window, enveloping the small interior in a lazy, cozy atmosphere.

The silver-haired Sylvia was sprawled on the table near the entrance, sleeping soundly.

Opposite her sat a tall, slender girl with long straight black hair, her face sowhat unfamiliar, and she wore a badge around her neck with a crookedly scribbled na: Xyrin. (To be continued.
