When Pandora started throwing Space Internal Explosion Bombs the size of a football field, the battle had actually entered its final stage.

This was a battle without suspense—when the lowa’s slave fleet, used to disrupt the Imperial Army, completely "defected", their ambush was completely anticipated. When the Imperial Army’s reinforcents arrived from various battle zones, all the advantages and initiative had already fallen into our hands. The enemy’s only advantage was their vast numbers, but due to Lin Xue’s accurate predictions, the Imperial Army thoroughly separated lowa’s three waves of fleets into three zones on the battlefield. They couldn’t form a strong enough Joint Shield and ultimately faced near annihilation under the Imperial Army’s unprecedented fierce bombardnt. Now, only the last small wave of enemy troops is making a stand on the battlefield. This is an elite General-class Carrier squadron; their Escort Fleet has already been heavily damaged, almost losing combat effectiveness. Now, the remaining General-class Carriers are deploying all their UAV drones to barely fend off the wolf-pack-like Imperial Assault forces, but the collapse of these enemy ships is only a matter of ti.

"These little aircraft are quite annoying," as the situation cald and the command center finally found a mont of peace, I watched the frontline footage from the Spy Probes and turned to Lin Xue, "It seems half of them were made by recycling scrap tal directly during the battle; look, so aren’t even painted."

"These are called General-class Carriers..." Lin Xue recalled from the intelligence we had, "The motherships of those small aircraft. The na is quite imposing, and indeed they are quite powerful... Fortunately, we have Anti-Aircraft Escort Ships specifically designed to deal with such clusters of small aircraft."

We were discussing the lowa’s main warship: the General-class Carrier. It’s an oval-shaped spaceship about a third smaller than the Eternal-class, with a smooth exterior resembling a slender seed of pale gold. Despite the seed’s considerable size, this spaceship, besides having main cannons located at the bow and sides, is most densely packed with launch channels hidden under armor plates. When these semicircular launch channels open, dense swarms of golden drones swarm out. These small flying devices, about the size of a private car and structured like a diamond, don’t have very strong firepower. It often takes a dozen or even dozens to focus fire to combat a Xyrin Single Soldier Fighter Jet, but each of them is equipped with a powerful self-destruct device. These small flying devices are highly agile; their most common tactic is to swarm in clusters of hundreds, forming a spherical array, raining down all their firepower as they crash into larger enemy ships and then self-destruct at close range. Due to their sheer numbers, they protect each other; conventional anti-aircraft guns and interceptors can only peel away layers of these spherical arrays, rarely destroying the core few self-destructors. As such, they posed a significant threat to the Imperial Fleet during initial engagents. I believe this extre combat style was certainly learned by the lowa during the Old Empire Era: in those days, when serving as enforcers for the Old Empire, any Servant Army seeking greater recognition would go to any lengths to enhance their attack capabilities. Their conventional weapons could never compare to the Galaxy, so they often chose the simplest, crudest weapons with notable enhancents: high-yield self-destruction. The technology is simple, swift, accurate, and extraordinarily powerful, earning high praise from the masters of the Old Empire. As seasoned Servant Armies, the lowa honed this technique to perfection, even turning suicide fighters into conventional firepower akin to spaceship main cannons. Dozens or hundreds of them exploding together, with Ghost Energy Bombs inside, can even match the power of dium Jump Missiles employed by the Empire. Many of our dium and small-sized ships were sunk by such unexpected self-destruction.

However, the lowa’s General-class Carriers are still powerless against the Imperial Mother Ships like the Eternal-class, which boast strong armant, powerful Shield Systems, and are surrounded by Frontier-class Escort arrays that aren’t afraid of this level of attack. A simultaneous self-destruction by a Suicide Fighter array hardly damages the Eternal-class Shield more than a single shield refresh does, and beneath the Eternal-class’s armor plates lie massive Anti-Aircraft Guns and Interceptors. As a typical "insane mobile cannon" style main Mother Ship, the Eternal-class lacks potent secondary cannons and is sowhat inflexible, needing proactive ans of self-defense against dense assault-type enemies. The main protection of the Eternal-class Mother Ship primarily cos from two points. First is its Escort Fleet: an Eternal-class Mother Ship is often paired with three to six Frontier-class Fortress Ships to provide additional Joint Shield, alongside an equivalent number of Expeditionary-class Starships to compensate for its lack of dium firepower. Second, its massive Anti-Aircraft Gun emplacents provide defense. An Eternal-class’s conventional model’s long axis usually spans seventy to eighty kiloters, with special models reaching a hundred kiloters long. Such extensive surface area not only presents a larger target (frankly, no hundred-kiloter-long object would dare rely on maneuverability for protection), but it also offers a substantial Anti-Aircraft Gun emplacents. If you were to lay this thing on Earth, it could stretch from Beijing directly to Tianjin—imagine how many Anti-Aircraft Guns would be lined up along that route! As a Mother Ship incapable of installing more secondary cannons, the Eternal-class’s Reactors not only power the Galaxy and support shields but also maintain this sky-covering Anti-Aircraft Gun emplacent...

The lowa’s suicide fighters, when passing through the Eternal-class zone, typically drift away as dust particles. Coupled with our ample Anti-Aircraft Escorts specifically designed to tackle these small aircraft, after achieving so results against the Empire’s dium and small ships, the lowa’s General-class Carriers were quickly suppressed and pushed back.

Sotis, qualitative differences cannot be compensated for by sheer quantity.

However, although the General-class Carriers are only moderately effective against the Imperial Army, I’ve noticed that they are extrely suited for use by the Servant Armies.

They use relatively "mild" Weak Ghost Energy—though Imperial Technicians might call it inferior Ghost Energy—which ans that General-class Carriers don’t have the specific high-radiation zones like most Imperial Starships. Ordinary races can work inside these ships for extended periods without worrying about contracting fatal Ghost Energy Radiation Crystallization Syndro. This new radiation illness, erging among servant armies, causes significant tissue changes in carbon-based and most silicon-based life forms exposed to Ghost Energy environnts for long periods, symptoms of which include parts of bodily structures degrading into Ghost Energy Crystal due to the broad-spectrum corrosiveness of Ghost Energy. Of course, as soon as this illness appeared, our research centers swiftly found a cure, ensuring it caused no real harm, albeit considerably weakening the fighting capability of the servant armies as a whole. And no matter how it’s sliced, radiation sickness is indeed quite a demoralizing issue. Now, these General-class warships of the lowa have given so inspiration: these guys, who have been battling alongside the Xyrin Apostle since the Old Empire Era, really have "insights" into the "profession" of Servant Armies. Their ships seem deliberately designed for ordinary races: low radiation, ensuring adequate power, and evidently, they can keep up with the Empire warship’s combat tempo. Perhaps the lowa have even designed more efficient combat assistant AIs to make up for the lower cognitive speed of conventional races. Currently, the Imperial Military Command Departnt is still organizing groups of expert scholars, spending their days researching the balance point between the physical endurance of general conventional races and Imperial equipnt, often beating each other black and blue for drafting that technical standard manual rumoured to require several gigabytes altogether. Now they should take it easy, for right in front of them is a large group of ready-made standards, after all: the lowa have, for untold millennia, studied how to allow themselves, as ordinary races, to use the most potent Ghost Energy equipnt possible...

I smiled contentedly at this thought. I believe Tulazo must have many technical docunts in his hands. It seems that old master still has a lot of potential value — I’m really glad I stopped Pandora in ti, or else if she had gone berserk and annihilated Tulazo, even Dingdang wouldn’t have been able to help.

"You’re smiling very lewdly," Lin Xue silently glanced at , "I’ve already photographed it for a Weibo post..."

: "..."

The biggest mistake in my planning work in Shadow City was not stopping the establishnt of XL dia!

At this mont, the last fleet of the lowa people finally disintegrated under the artillery fire of the Imperial Army. Their last General-class Carrier was hit point-blank by a Heavy Assault Ship, and exploded from the center into two pieces. The shattered hull fragnts rapidly disintegrated in the violent explosion, and the dense smoke expanded into a huge sphere. Propelled by the chaotic material stream from the Silver Heart, these wreckages and other ship remnants joined the long river of matter emitted by the Galaxy Center, gradually being pushed away from this mad place during their continuous disintegration. anwhile, at the edge of the battlefield, the only remaining escape shuttles of the lowa people were struggling to flee towards the distance — theoretically, it was impossible for them to escape this place.

The battlefield was completely sealed off, and the entire Galaxy Center was under high-precision enemy detection system monitoring. Any spaceship attempting to escape this battlefield would face deadly super-space cannon fire, and these small escape shuttles couldn’t withstand even the weakest shot.

But we had other plans. These escape shuttles had to flee back alive, along with the "little gift" Sandora prepared for them.

"Bring those two people up." Lin Xue ordered. Shortly after, the doors of the command hall opened, and several Xyrin Soldiers escorted two haggard-looking lowa people to us: "Prisoners delivered, sir!"

I nodded, examining the two pale-faced lowa people. These were two "old friends." If they still had the ability to think, they would undoubtedly recall their experiences in the Fourth District — yes, these are the sa lowa people we previously captured. You could say they were the beginning of everything. It was through them that we discovered the lowa people’s territory, and now, these two individuals would continue to ignite the path toward lowa’s destruction. There’s no need for words, as the two prisoners in front of us likely no longer possess the ntal capacity to answer questions. They are gaunt, exhausted, and seem ready to pass out at any mont, but their condition wasn’t due to abuse. Instead, it was because they had been bound to the flagship’s bow for the past forty-eight hours.

Yes, bound together with that enormous Mind Control Amplifier... They were even directly embedded into that piece of Resonance Crystal, for two whole days and nights. Sandora’s spiritual energy incessantly washed over, altered, and distorted these two mortals’ wills. Now, their souls’ cores as human beings have completely shattered, leaving nothing but their physical shells. In their minds, there is nothing left except the spiritual power that Sandora "planted" into their spirits.

Qianqian curiously waved her hand in front of the two prisoners of war, who had no reaction, just like puppets on strings.

"Ah Jun, that pollution body Sandora ntioned... is it really that powerful?"

"I absolutely believe it." I nodded with lingering fear, recalling the experint we conducted a day ago using several other lowa prisoners when these two prisoners were halfway through their transformation. The latter rely looked into the eyes of these two ’pollution sources’ and were imdiately corroded, succumbing to inexplicable fear and despair, choosing suicide within a few short hours. Later, we determined that the psychic contamination was taking effect too rapidly, making it easy for the lowa to detect and isolate it imdiately, so we adjusted the modification process over the next day to slow down the contagion speed. Now, after two days of transformation, these two lowa prisoners have beco quite perfect sources of the spiritual plague outbreak.

"Girl, it’s up to you now," I patted Qianqian’s head, preventing her from continuing to knock on the now zombie-like prisoners of war. "According to the information provided by Tulazo, we have already marked the enemy escape ships from the ’Divine Country’ for you."

"Got it," Qianqian nodded confidently, her aura changing imdiately. "Can I kill everyone apart from those escape ships?"

Stunned, I nodded, "... You decide."

Once the Ti Queen’s power spread, the entire battlefield seed to sink into a quagmire, with everything freezing like in slow motion. Eventually, this chaotic zone filled with debris turned into a frozen bubble at the center of the galaxy, with the lowa escape ships frozen at the last step of their escape, while Qianqian, carrying two ’gifts,’ boarded one of those escape ships.

We, the only ones outside the ti freeze, watched this bizarre scene. Qianqian’s power always brings an illusion of reality blending with fantasy. We saw the shuttle carrying Qianqian flash by, then the lowa ships seed to regain vitality, slowly accelerating again. To those fleeing soldiers, perhaps their escape ships felt fast, almost reaching the critical point of surpassing the speed of light in an instant. However, in our eyes, these ships were laughably slow, even the flas around them spread sluggishly. Then a large number of lowa escape ships began to split, corrode, disintegrate in flight, even fading away like phantoms. By the ti Qianqian returned to the command hall, ninety percent of the lowa escape ships had turned into scattered fragnts and faint phantoms in the universe. At this mont, ti flowed again, the dismantled escape ships turned into rapidly splattering debris shooting into the depths of the universe, leaving only a few small ships to escape, while Sandora’s gift was on one of those ships.

"What happened to those ships that vanished into thin air?"

Curious, I turned to ask Qianqian, who had just cald down from battle mode, looking quite miserable, apparently having done many stomach-challenging things at the edge of the battlefield in her darkened state.

"I severed parts of their tiline, then they got disassembled into countless pieces and sent to different ti periods of this world from its birth to present," Qianqian explained. "For instance, a head in the Big Bang period, an arm in the New Stone Age, a leg in... um... Ah Jun, I’m feeling a bit nauseous..."

: "..." It seems this girl’s two personalities might never be unified in this lifeti.

"I really wish Barrian could et those two plague sources directly," Lin Xue said. "That would save a lot of trouble."

"I doubt that’s possible, at this critical mont, Barrian wouldn’t have the ti to concern himself with two fools picked up from the battlefield," I shook my head. "Besides, a spiritual plague might not infect soone of Barrian’s level, the lowa have also undergone Imperial technology modifications, especially leaders like Tulazo and Barrian, their willpower must be extraordinarily strong, not necessarily susceptible to infection."

The service troops began cleaning up the battlefield, recovering ships with potential for major repairs, while gathering up the lowa ship debris. Though not highly advanced technically, these pieces still hold research value, like analyzing the Old Empire’s servant army combat forms and transformation directions, sothing the interest groups at the research institute should be quite pleased about. We prepared to lead the main force back to the Galaxy Edge first.

With the space channel already established, I looked back at the large group of ’new friends’ trailing behind the Imperial Fleet.

"Let’s take these ships back first..." Miss snapped her fingers. "Though it’s unclear what purpose they might serve, since we’ve saved them, we can’t just leave them unattended. There’s plenty of space outside General Star."

The slave fleets remained in a state of confusion, and now Sandora was using ntal suggestion to tell them what to do. These slaves might be aware that they’ve gained freedom, but they don’t know how it ca about, or who granted them this freedom, and perhaps... not even understanding what freedom ans. These people have been enslaved for many generations; there might not be many left who even rember the taste of freedom. Once brought back, we still have plenty of work to do, among which...

Is probably giving these slave soldiers a course in basic human rights.

Next, we need to consider when Tulazo can start his plan for an inter-world rebellion. (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to vote for recomndations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation.)
