"We need ecological planets, a large number of ecological planets, enough to evacuate the entire Fifth Fleet from their spaceships."

In the Kerudak’s Parliant Building, a senior official from the Fourth Fleet spoke frankly, while his colleagues around him wore expressions that were sowhat nuanced, sowhere between embarrassnt and anxiety. The council simply watched us silently, revealing nothing of what was in her mind: as the collective consciousness of the entire Yunade race, the council essentially shows no individual emotions when contemplating issues.

"Hmm, that’s not a problem," I replied readily, "but it will take so ti to customize. We need to first determine the ecological samples of the planet’s inhabitants, ensuring they can safely survive on the colonial planets. But... I estimate the Fifth Fleet is in urgent need."

"Precisely," the council nodded, "I learned about their situation from Cocogina; they lack a stable ecological cycle system, and the materials on the spaceship are in a state of deficit. In ten days or so, they will inevitably enter the depletion red line. Thus, they need to evacuate from those crumbling spaceships as soon as possible. We currently have only three colonial stars ready for delivery, originally intended for the Fourth Fleet’s 6th Brigade immigrants. However, the ecological system on the Sixth Brigade’s ships is still operational, and they can wait a bit longer, letting our friends from the Fifth Fleet land first. But three colonial stars can’t solve the entire problem, and even those three colonial stars, having just completed transformation, have less than a quarter of their planned area as habitable zones..."

"Hmm, I know your predicant," I waved my hand to interrupt, realizing listening to the minutiae won’t help much, "Indeed, the Fourth Fleet’s own living space remains a problem, but ecological colonial planets..."

I began to ponder; actually, providing the Fourth Fleet with a batch of colonial stars isn’t an issue at all. For the Empire, those planets are just giant rocks with radii of several thousand kiloters, covered with a layer of carbohydrates (bulk-manufactured colonial stars are generally of this specification). We’ve gifted entire worlds to the Fourth Fleet, so giving a few more planets, right? But the crux of the problem is that colonial planets have special requirents: they need tuning... calibration, and that takes ti.

Yet, the Fifth Fleet won’t hold out for much longer.

Perhaps I should take this opportunity to explain the Empire’s approach and so rules when manufacturing artificial planets.

Colonial planets are ant for habitation, which might seem redundant but is an extensive technical engineering project. Life, excluding the extraordinary beings like Xyrin Apostle and Divine Race, is mostly fragile. They have extrely stringent and complex demands on the living environnt: temperature, humidity, gravity environnt, microbial environnt, energy environnt, lighting, chemical environnt, and even mineral radiation environnt for certain unique species. An extensive combination of stringent conditions, set as systems, is required to ensure a species can safely survive on a colonial planet. A colonial planet’s docuntation upon delivery often spans several terabytes of just data and text, demonstrating its complexity. Compared to colonial planets, even crafting a lifeless star system might be a bit easier: the data considerations aren’t nearly as variable-heavy as those in an ecological environnt.

Once the New Empire’s military system has largely recovered and the governance over vassal worlds stabilizes, we began systematically crafting various artificial celestial bodies. The New Empire has dedicated ’factories’ for making colonial planets and similar entities situated in several desolate universes adjacent to the capital world. These desolate universes comprise about ten percent of the Empire’s ’World Library’; they haven’t evolved life, hence are suitable for vast engineering projects. Under Sandora’s command, so of the more stable universes were pulled near the capital world, first to obscure the capital world’s actual coordinates, and second to serve as large workshops. These large ’workshops’ are laden with giant starports and space structures working tirelessly day and night; across the vast space, proliferation builders and material-information-energy conversion generators labor ceaselessly. Their primary production task is manufacturing various civilian (colonial planets) or military (pseudo-version of planet battleships) artificial planets.

The mass-produced colonial planets of the Empire are jokingly called "standard stars," akin to a rough-hewn piece. "Standard stars," or by their scientific na, "Standard Artificial Ecological Planet Base," bear no life or ecological environnt. They’re shaped to a uniform specification to fit appropriate sizes, born with precise density, thus ensuring exact gravitational environnts. All material resources on standard stars are laid out per blueprint to ensure users can, in planetary construction’s early phases, mine resources smoothly as per diagrams. Based on different models, standard stars may have randomly shaped and distributed, yet precisely equal-volu ocean trenches. When the stars are delivered for use, users can fill them with water or other ecological agents as requested, but when in the storage phase, they remain empty. Standard stars possess basic atmospheres, but these atmospheres aren’t for sustaining life; they’re purely for product testing: validating atmospheric models, global wind effect, etc. Once standard stars are slated for delivery, the basic atmospheres are replaced per user demand.

According to different models, standard stars co in over a hundred varieties: a rough classification concerning just planetary physical paraters, not ecological ones, since standard stars lack ecological environnts.

This is everything about the standard stars.

These lifeless standard colony planet blanks are fixed in place by gravity stasis force fields, neatly arranged in corners of the universe like rchandise, with nearly identical size and color, as if carved out of the sa mold. Before filling them with water (or potentially other liquids, or possibly nothing at all), environnt, and atmosphere, and deploying basic life forms, they only have a dirt-yellow hue.

The people who create these civilian planets have a romantic na in the mouths of poets among the vast vassal races: Planet Shapers. And those who oversee these planet storage fields also have a poetic na, called by poets: Starry Sky Watchers.

The above two poetic titles correspond to workshop directors and warehouse managers, respectively, due to the remoteness of their workplaces and companionship of only various automatic equipnt, they are recognized as the two most miserable jobs in the Empire, bar none.

When do standard stars start to look more like cradles of life?

After the responsible officials at the military departnt receive reservation requests from subordinate civilizations. Oh, this official is called "Shepherd" in the mouths of poets, but internally in the Empire, the recognized title for these officials is salesperson. I nicknad them 10086 — because most planetary application reports are submitted through the data network.

When a lower civilization submits an application to the Empire for a civilian colony planet, a specialized post-processing group will take over a "custom order." Since most Xyrin Apostles have more important military tasks, these processing groups usually do not include Xyrin Apostles, but rather work personnel from vassal civilizations with certain technical capabilities. We provide them with the Empire’s colonial planet transformation equipnt and technology. These post-processing groups, based on order requirents, select a planet from hundreds of different rough blanks from the standard star reserve library, and then process these crude planet blanks as if a renovation company were handling a bare-shell apartnt: fine-tuning the planetary gravity environnt, adding the atmosphere, initiating the basic material cycle of the planet blank in accordance with proportion, and then releasing the first batch of life forms that have been modified to avoid ecological harm to forthcoming users. This step usually involves mbers of the Life Goddess Sect, who use their insane, unscientific, and non-magical Divine Techniques to catalyze life, covering half a planet with developed skin in just a few days. The ecological group on the planet will then completely update two to three tis, transitioning basic life groups to a complete ecosystems, and preparing for resident arrivals. Once all the processing is completed, the ecosystem can operate stably, and the material cycle can sustain itself, this "standard star" can be renad as a "colony star." The Planet Shaper, or workshop director, personally assigns an output number and, near the planet’s equator (sotis at the poles, depending on the production line model), stamps a 100-kiloter-long by 63-kiloter-wide security mark on the colony star. The mark includes the planet model, inspector, output number and date, and a label stating that everyone has the responsibility to protect the environnt — sothing added on Qianqian’s suggestion. Finally, along with the finished planet, the resident receives a crystal containing a user manual and quality assurance certificate, as well as a random Imperial Family character postcard — the latter also being Qianqian’s idea, aiming to award an electric frying pan if one collects all the family postcards.

I damned can’t understand what a world leader capable of ordering nearly twenty planets wants with a damned electric frying pan, but that’s how it was decided! We indirectly saved the Guangming Appliance Factory in neighboring Z City as a result...

From this, you can glimpse a part and understand what kinds of things I go through every day with Qianqian around!

According to the above process, everyone should see that although the Empire possesses all sorts of advanced technology allowing for mass production and assembly line-like manufacturing of artificial celestial bodies, due to the unique functionality and audience of ecological colony stars, there must exist a "micro-adjustnt" period. Even if we speed up the production of planetary blanks, we cannot skip the post-ecological fine-tuning steps: After all, more than eighty percent of civilian colony planet users are ordinary races thousands of tis more fragile than Xyrin Apostles. Whenever they’re involved, the Empire’s efficiency laws are often compromised. I estimate that, even if Planet Shaping Factory queues are cut, it would take at least over three months for an ecological colony planet ordered by the "Council" to be released (which is astonishing; normally, ordinary races take years, often over a decade, to transform an ecological planet, just barely surviving in resource-rich areas), while the Fifth Fleet faces its first alert line in just over ten days.

After discussion, we decided that in the anti, the Empire would directly provide ready-made resource aid: food, water, oxygen, radioactive substances, heavy tals, various ores, artificial organic and inorganic substances... Alright, the Exiled mbers’ composition is truly too complex, and the list of their necessities is practically comparable to Sandora’s nu.

As for the Fifth Fleet’s living spaces, a solution must also be found. Their ships, frequently experiencing gas leaks, are indeed unsafe. The Fourth Fleet, on the other hand, is struggling, with half of its mbers still living on spacecraft, so we decided to requisition a batch of Colonial Giant Ships from the New Eden Federation for temporary use. Though not suitable for the Fifth Fleet mbers’ survival, by shutting down the ecological systems and connecting so external atmospheric circulation towers, they can be used as temporary residences.

This way, at least the Fifth Fleet can safely get through the most challenging four months ahead.

Four months later, the colonial planet from the Planet Shaping Factory should be ready for delivery, by then everything will enter the right track. For the Fifth Fleet, which has endured a lot of hardships, as long as they can survive, they will have endless strength to build their own ho.

And in these four months, the Council also has ample ti to choose an appropriate placent point for the colonial planet that’s about to be put in place. Just like how all appliances, after being bought, need to have an outlet ready, commodity-type colonial planets co with delivery and installation but not the outlet, after users customize their planet, they need to find a habitable zone star in their universe, and the Planet Shaping Factory will send their customized ecological planet to the designated location, with precise positioning and activation handled by expert master workers (only after activation will the planet’s stasis be lifted), the entire process is free of charge, normally the workers only accept two packs of cigarettes. Of course, if it’s the Protos construction team, since the workers don’t have mouths, they don’t even take cigarettes... Why am I talking about this! Although talking about this is quite interesting...

"In this way, the Empire’s aid to this universe will be on a super large scale, and even the duration far exceeds the initial expectations," once everything was agreed upon, Sandora said lightly, "Enough to sustain the Fifth Fleet’s supplies, as well as nurous colonial giant ships, and the ecological planets that will arrive later, these items are quite sizable, and according to my expectations, the Fifth Fleet needs at least ten years of sustained support, to get through the foundational construction phase: the basic resources they have accumulated before have all been left on the ho planet during the attacks. In this case, can you in the opposition accept it?"

"Under special circumstances, we have only one party: the Council itself," the Council said, "Although previously we hadn’t thought the situation would beco like this, nor did anyone expect such a significant interaction with the Empire suddenly, but the situation is already here, at present the survival of the Fifth Fleet is the most important. I think even the most conservative person, at this ti, knows the priorities."

It was clear, when the Council said this, several officials behind her looked slightly moved, presumably these people were the cautious conservative mbers towards the Empire, however, these few officials ultimately said nothing, after a brief whispered discussion, they wisely chose an attitude of "the world has nothing to do with ," while the Council remained silent for a mont, and suddenly looked at and Sandora: "Actually, all this should have been within your expectations, perhaps when you just learned about the Fifth Fleet, you already thought this is a good entry point."

Sandora nodded quickly: before I shook my head.

"I feel quite troubled," seeing that the serious discussion had finished and everything was agreed upon, I couldn’t help but mutter with a curl of my lips, "Wanting to help you all feels almost like stealing, it’s the first ti I’ve encountered the phrase ’ticulous’ being used before ’helpful’ as an auxiliary verb."

So this ti, except for the Council and a few Imperial people, everyone present smiled awkwardly——politics, indeed, is the most nonsensical tax-exempt topic in the world.

Due to the ti difference between the two worlds, by the ti Sandora and I returned from Kerudak, K City was already lit up with evening lights, the whole family was present, and this big house was lively again. Anwina floated out to greet Sandora and , with a happy smile on her face: her favorite mont is when the whole family returns from the distant Otherworld to gather together while waiting for dinner. Actually, I always feel this Little Ghost is quite pitiful, due to her special personality, almost every ti the family goes out she chooses to stay alone, thus in her life, "empty big house——waits for everyone to return——a period of liveliness followed by another empty big house" has beco a fixed process.

"I feel very happy," Anwina said in response to my speculation, "Waiting for the master to return ho is also a kind of happiness."

Oh well, since she thinks that way, there’s no choice.

"Did things go smoothly?" Big Sister saw Sandora and I had cheerful expressions and smiled as she spoke, I nodded, thinking my cheerful expression was indeed because everything went smoothly, Sandora’s cheerful expression... probably simply because it was almost dinner ti.

The sound of running water ca from the direction of the bathroom, along with so shrill shouts from the little girls’ antics, most prominently was the loud noise from Visca’s frenzy and rcury Lamp’s agitated voice, my face instantly showed a troubled expression: "Sister, did you let that group of rascals bathe together again?"

"What’s not good about it, it enhances sisterly bonds," Big Sister said casually, "The bathroom is quite big and those girls also like to play with water."

Sotis I don’t quite understand Sister’s logic, clearly, she’s an expert-level parent nicknad the "Naughty Kid Slayer," yet in many instances, she turns a blind eye to those crazy girls’ antics, not to ntion, I dare not imagine what Lili, the triple-transford Loli, is currently...

Just as I thought this, the bathroom door opened, Pandora as usual was the first to finish bathing and ca out, wrapped in nothing but a small towel, then sat like a wooden doll at the bathroom door dazed: this counts as her signature routine, drying naturally after bathing.

"Brother," Pandora saw , pointed towards the bathroom, "Fighting inside."

: "I know."

As soon as I spoke, the bathroom door was once again pushed open, a soaking wet rcury Lamp jumped and bounced out, her towel almost dropping to the ground, upon seeing , the doll girl imdiately did a flying pounce and hung onto , while angrily pointing in the direction she ca from, squirming all over: "Lilina... damn Lilina! So itchy, so itchy..."

: "...?"

"Lilina said she would scrub rcury Lamp’s back," Pandora rarely took the initiative to explain, "rcury Lamp believed it."

"And then?"

"Lilina squeezed shampoo into rcury Lamp’s keyhole."

: "..."

That crazy girl is rotten to the core, damn it! (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit qidian to vote for recomndations and monthly tickets, your support is my greatest motivation.)
