A young man navigated his way through the grand castle of lumia kingdom. He had ruffled black hair tied in a ponytail. The forefront dropping just before his eyes. As he passed there were side glances and awkward stares directed at him.
All to which he ignored, making his way down to a more secluded part of the castle. Specifically, to a soda dispensing machine.
Clicking in so numbers a soft click was heard, followed by gently hissing. A low reverberant systematic hum.
Refreshing.. he softly sighed inhaling the dam air. Walking through the steep steps, the blue glowing mana stones lit up. Along with crystal shining lamps, hung on the walls.
How magical. He rolled his eyes in sarcasm continuing down.
What the hell? How did you get in here. A female guard stationed closest to the end of the steps demanded. Her face a mixture of shock and confusion seeing a guard casually strolled in to a restricted spot.
Not answering he continued walking signaling the 10 guards here to be alard at another possible breach.
All units attack! She gestured drawing out her sword pulsing with blue energy. With a defiant roar the rest guards followed suit. Each drawing their weapon, a mix of sword and mana powered handguns.
Damn flies~
Effortlessly swiping his left hand at them a thin red line of aura shot out. Sending the guards flying like dices in all directions.
Picking a card from the female he presud to be the leader, he simply waltzed past the unconscious guards. Over to the end of the sowhat little dungeon.
Placing it to the scanner a light red infrared beam phased through it. Displaying a green, followed by a ssage.
[retinal and biotric data required for entrance.] the monotone system voice plainly stated.
Great. A soft sigh escaped his lips heading back to retrieve her. It was a considerable short walk to and back considering the dungeon wasn’t that big.
I thought he would’ve made so changes. Why leave it like before. He wondered seeing the dungeon the way it previously was during his ti here.
It wasn’t that small considering it could hold about 30 people max in each cell but still. That was considered little considering the astonishing ground breaking technological feet present here.
Lifting the female up he carefully inched her close to the retinal scanner. Using one had to easily hold her while the other kept her eye open in place.
[scan complete!] the sa dialogue tone responded, and last was the biotrics scan. Placing her right hand to the drawn finger stand. The soft red beam scanned her fingers, displaying a set of numbers.
[triple defense scan has been completed, opening entrance to safe haven.]
Safe haven? Now that relaxing..
Resting the female body to wall he watched as the wall parted to the side. Twisting and rotating chanism sounds could be heard as it opened with a soft thud. Revealing an entirely new space completely different from the dungeon.
Not only was it large and spaciously built by standard items. But also filled with far advanced equipnt used in the kingdoms capital. It was far more than a standard facility, having a more laboratory feel for scientific research.
Am here to see the king. He calmly stated approaching the first nurse he set his eyes on. She was a young female in her twenties with short black hair. Putting on the usual whit nurses gown reaching her knee length. A stethoscope wrapped around her neck.
Placing the folder in her hand down a bit she lifted her head. Locking eye contact with the insignificant idiot that had just interrupted her reading.
And who the hell do you think you are to just stroll in her demanding an audience with the king? She frowned clearly annoyed by his prescence.
Soone’s having a bad day.
Slightly shaking his head, he took a step front, startling he young woman. Who receded so couple of steps backwards.
Look nurse.. he paused glancing at her na tag. Nurse vera. I don’t have ti for this, so if you’d be so kind to lead too troy. Id be out of here in no ti. He smiled but she wasn’t buying it.
And what if I don’t huh? What happens then? She retorted, reaching for a button behind the reception desk.
I insist. Ronan’s eyes glowed red a chilling sensation emitting from him.
Wh-what’s happening. I can’t move. Her mind gave out commands to her body to run but for so reason she couldn’t. stuck in place by so strange pressure.
Its him. The undeniable force is his. The hairs on her head stood up in attention, feeling the growing tension in the atmosphere. Every cell in her body urging her to get out from here to no avail.
His eyes.. they’re beautiful.
Slowly but surely her mind was being corrupted by so mind control. Clouding her sense of reasoning, like a virus taking over. she didn’t struggle anymore, giving in to this strange yet soothing prescence.
o-of course, right this way. She gestured with a light smile.
Tsk! Never gets old.
Following closely behind he indifferently gazed at all the rooms they passed by. Most were filled with people in white lab coat he presud were scientists. Doctors, engineers it didn’t matter. All that mattered was they had one goal, working together to achieve such.
Funny how we are the cause of our own destruction. A lifeless expression plastered to his face.
Here we are, the king is in here. She stopped in front of an oval shaped room made with nothing but sheer glass.
Placing her identity card to the scanner the glass door opened. Highlighting a man in casual clothes seated on a bed besides a much younger female.
Thank you for your help vera. You’re free to leave now. With a light smile he stepped through the door, snapping his finger.
What just happened? She wondered regaining her senses.
I was sorting out the files of the patients, but how did I end up here? Her mory was blurry, leaving her dumbfounded with no recall. One mont she was standing in the reception and the next thing she was lingering right in front of the room the king was.
Not wanting to attract unwanted trouble she existed the premises.
Two females? Now I’m really jealous. Ronan smirked stopping just before the first bed, where the first unconscious woman laid. She was much older than the second stating her more mature. But one thing was for sure, they shared the sa facial resemblance.
I can’t believe the mighty king of lumia kingdom has been reduced to a shaful pervert. He shook his head with a smug grin.
But oh well. You know what they say.. sharing is caring~ his red eyes gave a subtle but chilling spark. One that would send shivers down the spine of those who t with his gaze.
It’s bad manners to stare at soone while they’re asleep. Especially won. Troy’s voice was low yet carried a hidden danger. Like a sort of warning.
Jeez.. I see you’re still as grumpy as ever old man.
Likewise.
Standing up troy calmly made his way to ronan, his eyes never breaking contact with the latter. Though slow troy’s step were steady and precise. Like he wasn’t only calculating but anticipating every move this man might take.
I see you still don’t trust . Ouch! That hurt my feelings. Ronan dramatically placed his hand to his heart, like a sword had struck him.
First of all, you sure as hell don’t have a heart. Not to ntion feelings. And to answer your question no. of course I don’t trust you.
The tension was clear as day in the air as these two definitive forces locked gazes. Their auras emitting from them filling the entire room. Making it rattle slightly, a manifestation of their intentions for one another.
Just as it seed things were spiraling out of control, a clash between these two inevitable. Troy, the most feared and ruthless king broke out in laughter?
We’re too old for this.
Yet, we never could help ourselves. Ronan replied hugging him to which he didn’t reject. Lightly tapping the back of the strange individual.
You sent for , what is it? Ronan softly asked getting straight to business after their little reunion. Exhaling a bit troy sat at the edge of the bed gesturing over to him.
I know you’re probably wondering why I summoned you here. Well long story short, lynn has returned. Troy broke out the news making the lifeless man’s eye lit up.
So you an she’s the cause of half the castles destruction and the do? He asked all to which troy solemnly shook his head.
It gets worse.. she kidnapped lumia and threatened to kill her unless I face her. He paused clenching his fist. I couldn’t face her.
Sighs.. So, you sent for instead. Dammit old man! you can’t keep asking for favors like this, it’s been like centuries.
I’m not. I’ve already sent soone since a while now but no signs of them. I suspect he may have been killed like I expected.
So.. you want to finish the job. Ronan completed his sentence already knowing what ran through troy’s mind.
Exactly.. as always you’ll be free to implent your wild strategies. I just want them both alive, kill the peasant if need be.
Peasant? Ronan paused shock evident in his eyes. Now that’s interesting.
Shaking his head, he stood up. Giving one last glance to troy before walking towards the exit.
Bam! The doors to the room abruptly opened with the protrusion of three guards. Going to their knees in sight of troy.
What is it? Troy frowned annoyed by their sudden intrusion.
Your majesty. The guard in the middle was the first to speak. We’re sorry for bursting in unannounced but the do. It has completely vanished.
Vanished? What do you an vanished?
Well.. we were just as puzzled sire but then we spotted five figures laying unconscious at the entrance to the kingdom. The one by the left added through pants.
Yes? And? His tone carried impatience, clearly not in the mood for cliffhangers.
It’s the peasant your majesty.. he’s returned with both your daughters unhard. The last relayed, causing troy’s breath to cease a bit. Not expecting such surprise.
