’I never thought I’d co this far.’ Kyle smiled staring at his profile. He was amazed at how far he’d co, and how powerful he was becoming. Even though he’d suffered a huge backlash, as per the reduction of 5 level from the system. As a result of losing the battle against troy.
’I might’ve received a huge bonus for that necrolite head.’ He guessed the system would definitely reward him with decent benefits, if he’d killed that necrolite. Which was a formidable opponent.
Shaking his head Kyle stared ahead. There was nothing but sand and plain desert hills, everywhere he looked. If he hadn’t been back at the cave, then he would never have believed there was such with water.
[Kyle am sensing vibrations in the sand.] Snow softly said to which Kyle nodded also feeling it.
"Desert worms." Kyle frowned seeing so bits of the sands sinking. And there was only one creature on this planet, he knew could do such.
’Rumble!’ The ground rumbled with parts of the sands sinking in front. With a loud screech, several desert worms potruded from the ground.

The system notification flashed before his eyes.
"Lv 5 huh." Kyle uttered, staring at the group of about seven brown desert worms. Their sharp rows of teeth on display vibrating with power.
"No." Kyle stopped his parents, seeing they were about heading out to face off with these creatures.
"They’re mine." He said in a dark tone, a creepy smile forming on his face.

Shooting out he dashed across the sand in a blur. Only the dust he erected in a straight line, testified to his movent.
[Dark flas activated!]
He reached the first desert worm, shooting out a jetski of dark flas. The flas shot fast hitting the creature, enveloping it in flas.
’Screech!’ The desert worm screeched in pain, feeling it’s skin lting. It didn’t take a minute before the desert worm’s body was completely skinned, lting to the ground leaving a ss.
The remaining six desert worm were frozen in spot. They didn’t have eyes, but they could clearly feel with the sense of the vibrations from the sand. So they could tell one of their own kind was killed now.
But it wasn’t the fear of being killed that overwheld them, but the terrifying aura emitting from this monster.
"Weak." Kyle muttered shooting out again, firing balls of dark flas to the worms bodies. He also used his fist and legs to assault the creature just for fun.

Various notifications flashed before Kyle view, as he calmly walked back to his parents.
"Sorry for the delay." Kyle smilled. He could see the shocked expressions on his parents faces, making him chuckle a bit. Moving ahead he checked the beasts for their core. Unfortunately he only found two small cores, which he then placed into a makeshift bag. From the skin of the worms he lted with dark flas.
[I can detect multiple aura’s up ahead Kyle be careful.] Snow warned to which he nodded thanking her. He could also see they were about reaching the castle, as the green blinking dot was very close.
Walking for so few minutes, they could see a towering sand hill in front.
’Where is it?’ Kyle wondered checking the map. He could see they were at the exact spot, but no castle whatsoever anywhere.
’Is this thing broken?’ Kyle frowned shaking the map. Even going as far as to swipe down, in hopes to refresh it.
[Seriously..] snow sarcastically spoke.
’What, you never know.’ Kyle shrugged ignoring her. Sliding down the slope, they made their way up the hill to it’s back in hopes to find sothing. But unfortunately, it was just more sand with no castle wherever.
Placing his hand to his chin Kyle seed to be thinking about sothing.
’Snow can your system tell if there’s a castle or building here?’ He inwardly asked.
[Unfortunately I can’t. But I do however sense the aura’s of various beast around here.] Snow answered to which Kyle nodded.
’Guess there’s only one way to find out.’ Stretching his hand he shot out a blast of dark flas. The flas moved fast heading forward, and one had expected it to pass through the empty space but it didn’t. Instead was blocked by a strange force of so kind.
"A barrier." Kyle frowned, seeing his flas have no effect on whatsoever this was.
[It’s more like an invisible forcefield erected to conceal the castle. Of course! it makes sense now why we can’t see it. There must be so powerful artifact concealing it’s existence. ]
’But how do we get in?’ Kyle asked seeing no entrance or clue into the hidden castle.
’There isn’t any clue on the map also.’ Kyle frowned seeing no highlights, or word of a secret passage or key into the castle.
"Argh! what now?" He sighed in frustration kicking the sand. He couldn’t afford to continue shooting out dark flas, as it wasn’t having any effects whatsoever on the forcefield. And he didn’t have a wide pool of demon energy to exhaust.
Lost in his thoughts, Kyle didn’t notice when xia crouched down to the floor. Her eyes intriguingly staring downwards. Stretching her hand, she scuffled through the sand searching for sothing.
’Thud.’ A soft tone was made, as her hand ca upon sothing tal with a handle. Pulling the handle it made a thud sound, followed with an eerie creaking noise garning the attention of Kyle and Ron.
"Way.." she said pointing down to the passage leading downwards.
"A hatch, of course!" Kyle slapped his head a bit not thinking about that.
"Thank you mom." He patted her head earning a soft purr from her. He then descended down the steps first, along with xia and Ron.
’It’s so dark.’ Kyle thought activating dark flas for illumination. He was a demon with enhanced eyesights, but still he couldn’t see clearly here as it was strangely too dark.
Navigating through the bottom of this platform, they could finally see so light in front. Making their way to it they reached an entirely different section.
’Where are we.’ Kyle wondered bringing out the map. He could now see so words appearing on top of the castle.
"Sandhill castle." He read out loud. Looking, Kyle was impressed by this architectural building. It comprised of different cut out sections with pillars, arranged in rows holding them. all connected to this building.
’It’s really sturdy.’ Kyle smiled touching the pillars. amazed by how strong they were, even though everything here was made from sand.
’Just who built this place?’ He wondered descending down the steps. In front was like a narrow passage, with several claw like slashes on the floors.
’Which beast lives here?’ The claws didn’t look like normal claws but slashes, with little extra slashes attached.
"Screech!" Kyle’s attention was pulled by a loud screech, piercing through the air. He could tell it wasn’t a desert worm, not feeling the sand sinking. And the screech didn’t contain that much power as a desert worm, but a different beast.
Before his eyes he could see an ant. Not normal and small but large, like the size of a monster truck. It had brown skin with multiple arms and leg. It’s two black bug eyes staring down the group.
[Brown guard ant(lv3): an ant possessing good resistance and speed. It is a guardian of the colony and forever loyal to the ant queen.]
With a swift movent the ant shot forward, taking Kyle aback a bit.
’It’s fast.’ He was surprised at the speed it moved, not expecting it to move so fast with such a body.
’It doesn’t matter. Am still going to kill you." Kyle smiled shooting out a dark fla ball. The creature dodged by twisting it’s body, rapidly running forward with it’s multiple legs.
Shooting out another dark flas ball the creature dodged to his surprise. Leaping up, it attempted to pounce on him with it’s mouth open wide.
’Bam!’ Kyle swiftly moved, punching the creature in the chest sending it flying back.
’It’s not dead?’ Kyle had expected to see the system notification, alerting him of the ant’s demise. But he didn’t which ant the ant wasn’t dead.
Shooting out a jetski of dark flas it engulfed the creature. The dark flas eating away at it’s skin, making it writhe and screech in pain.

The system notification popped up in his view. But he didn’t have ti to read the other screen, as the ground suddenly began rumbling.
"Really~" Up ahead, several brown ants were marching forward with bloodlust eyes.
