Hearing Kyle scream xia imdiately turned, as she could see he was now engaged in a battle with a ghostly figure. Her face further contorted into a frown, seeing a claw mark across his chest.
"K-kyle." She muttered in anger, her left fist clenched tightly as the black spike hand hardened more. Elongating to a hight of 5 ters, pulsing with a strange energy.
"Argh!" She shot forward like a bullet, killing any goblin or troll in her way without rcy. Her eyes bloodshot, staring down the creature that dared to hurt her son.
"Die.." she barely said adrenaline coursing through her veins, surging the black Gooey substance more as she pierced it forward.
Kyle wanted to warn his mom her attacks would simply pass through, but he was shocked to the core to see her attacks have an effect.
"Screech!" The wraith let out a ghastly screech clutching it’s chest, as xia’s spike was now protruding out it’s back. The wraith’s ghostly body was squirming about, as it’s regenerating ability tried to kick in but was blocked, by xia’s strange black spike.
Not giving it chance xia pushed more deeper, then making a vertical slash upwards decapicating the wraith. Turning she clutched down to Kyle, using her left hand to softly rub his cheeks.
"A-are you ok?" She asked with worried filled eyes, staring at Kyle like a priceless artifact that was just about to be destroyed.
"A-am alright mom. Are you?" Kyle didn’t know why he asked that, maybe because he was still shocked or confused. Looking at him weirdly, xia let out a light smile gently pinching his cheeks.
"Momma’s fine.." xia smiled helping Kyle to his feet.
[Woah! Your mom’s more badass than you.] Snow said with a bit of shock and disbelief, witnessing a mother’s rage.
Xia then placed her dark spike hand to his chest, as so of the black goo was transferred to his injuries. Under his eyes, Kyle watched as the black goo enveloped his wounds, entering his body completely healing him.
"There.. there now.. momma’s here." Xia softly patted Kyle’s head with a warm smile, while Kyle still remained shocked.
’Swoosh!’
A swift air brushed past their skins as a wraith appeared from the side with speed, it’s ghostly claws aid for them. Shoving Kyle to the side, xia placed the black Gooey spike to her chest in attempt to bless ck the hit.
’Clank!’ tal clashing against tal resounded, as the wraith’s claw collided with xia’s spike arm sending her skidding back a bit. The wraith then screeched, charging again at xia. Regaining her compusure, she thrusted the spike forward in attempt to stab the wraith like last ti. But just as the black spike was inches from it’s chest, the wraith suddenly beca more transparent as xia’s spike passed through.
There was a brief shock in xia’s eyes, seeing her attack didn’t inflict any harm. Without warning, the wraith swiftly moved with precision swiping it’s claws at xia.
A mixture of black and red blood stread down xia’s face, as the wraith clawed at her. Attempting to slash the wraith it didn’t have effect like last ti, as the black spike simply passed through the creature who was unfazed.
Leaping back a bit, xia was frustrated she couldn’t land a hit on this wraith like before. She wanted to recalibrate her movents, but the wraith wouldn’t let her. Appearing besides her, it swung it’s claw at xia to which she dodged, striking the spike forward at the wraith’s head.
Twisting it’s body the wraith easily dodged xia’s hit, using it’s feet to forcefully kick xia back. Making her cough up black and red blood to the floor.
[Kyle that wraith has the ability to make it’s body invasive for so seconds.] Snow uttered to which Kyle nodded, also observing it. Wraiths were usually known as spirits that failed to pass on, possessing high regenerative abilities, phase through objects, and the ability to fly. So seeing this wraith exhibit one of those abilities, made Kyle wondered how his mom managed to kill the first wraith before it could regenerate.
"Mom, over here!" Kyle called out waving to xia. Taking a big leap she landed besides Kyle panting a bit, as blood stread down the injuries in her body.
"Mom I think I have an idea how we can beat this wraith." Kyle said, to which xia listened attentively to his plans. Nodding she then shot out to face the wraith, swiping her spike to the wraith’s head which dodged. The creature then phased into the ground, protruding behind xia swiping it’s claw at her back.
Prepared she dodged to the side, shooting her spike to the creature’s chest which simply passed through. With a smug mocking grin, the wraith slashed both it’s claws at xia’s head in attempt to finish her off.
"Now mom!" Kyle shouted to which xia nodded, bringing out an object clutched in her left hand behind her back. Without hesitation she sent it forward, as it pierced the wraith’s chest making it scream in pain, with it’s body dissipating into thin air.
"Wraith.. dead." Xia smiled, holding the small pointed silver rod in her hands. Giving out a thumbs up, Kyle smiled back happy their plan had worked.
’How did you know silver could kill it?’
[Simple. it’s recorded that wraith’s have a high tendency to get killed by silver, as silver replels bad energy.] Snow softly spoke with a proud tone. At first when snow had told Kyle of her plan he was reluctant at first, thinking sothing might go wrong.
[We just have to wait and make the wraith think it has us, then at the right mont when it’s body materializes we strike with the silver rod.] He didn’t think they’d find a silver rod in hell, but surprisingly there was one laying on the ground not too far from them. And luckily, everything went according to plan.
Walking over to Kyle, xia then handed the small silver rod to him. There were still about 4 wraiths present floating in the air, and swooping down to attack the prisoners. As two strikes of their claws, would instantly kill a prisoner. They tried fighting back, but unlike the goblins and trolls they could hit these wraiths were troubleso, as they couldn’t land a hit on them and couldn’t block either, leaving them defenseless.
"Let’s go." Kyle said, shooting out like an arrow with xia following behind. They decided to use the sa tactics as before, luring a wraith away from the prisoners. Then xia would engage with the wraith, dodging it’s attacks and trying to land a hit on it. Then Kyle would appear at it’s back in the right mont, plunging the tal rod into the wraith’s head killing it.
Moving onto another wraith they used this sa tactic, distracting the wraith then waiting for the right opportunity to land a hit, as soon as the wraith’s body materialized.
"Two more to go." Kyle softly uttered, panting a bit from the constant moving around. Looking, he could see his father was engaged in a fight with a wraith. Claw marks were plastered on his body from the wraith, as he was loosing out on the fight along with a lot of blood.
"Go help dad, don’t worry about I’ll be fine." Nodding, xia then went out to aid Ron with the third wraith, leaving one remaining.
’Now where the hell is this fucking wraith?’ Kyle thought, looking round for the last wraith.
[Kyle below you!] Snow yelled, making Kyle’s sense go on high alert as he lept back a bit. At that sa mont the last wraith potruded from the ground, snarling at Kyle with it’s hollow eyes.
"Let’s dance bitch." Running, Kyle attempted to slash the wraith with the silver rod but this wraith was a bit experienced than the rest, perceiving his attacks.
’It’s been over ten seconds now, but this wraith’s still phasing.’ Kyle thought leaping back a bit, avoiding a claw to his guts.
[Yeah this wraith seems a bit different than the rest.] Snow chipped in also observing so differences. Kyle decided to go in for an attack, but the wraith did sothing strange. kicking it’s leg forward it severed, shooting with great speed.
"Shit." Not expecting it, Kyle was caught off guard. He managed to twist his body a bit, but still couldn’t fully avoid the foot as it hit his legs, tripping him off balance. Making him fall face flat to the ground.
Rolling, Kyle could see the wraith was already upon him ready to pounce. On instinct dark flas shot out from his palm, enveloping the wraith.
"Screech!" The wraith screeched in agony, feeling it’s soup being eaten by dark flas. Kyle watched a bit surprised, as the wraith’s ghostly presence dissipated into thin air.

’What just happened?’ Kyle asked confused.
[Of course! how could I not rember.. Wraiths are defenseless against fire. And what better fire to cleanse their soul, than dark flas.] Snow excitedly clapped like a little child. Looking, Kyle could see xia and Ron had now successfully dealt with the last remaining wraith.
