As of now, Jim had just exchanged position to his Blood Minion. And what he was seeing right now made him notice the little girl who was carrying the beast.
The little girl was surrounded by many other beasts. And from ti to ti, the beasts would co at her to try their luck and give her a good beating. But sadly for them, all of them failed to even give the other party a scratch as they were sent flying instead.
Jim frowned. He saw clearly how did the little girl handle the situation with ease. Just who was this girl? That girl was really incomparably strong compared to just any random girl.
At that mont, however, Jim suddenly realized sothing. To have such great strength, this little girl must have stumbled so fictitious encounter. She must have received so sort of blessings. And there was only one thing that ca to Jim's mind, this girl must be one of the X-rank Hunters he was looking for!
Jim suddenly felt excited. To think that he would find one of the X-rank Hunters this way! Should he rush now towards the other party to test her strength? Jim's urge to fight her was just going stronger and stronger as he watched how did the other party single-handedly defeat all the beast around with ease.
Soon, the little girl finished off all the beasts in the area as she sent them all rolling on the ground with her fist. And shortly after that, the little girl, Janine Kastel's eyes and Jim's eyes t. Jim might have already recognized the identity of Janine, but Janine was the complete opposite of him. She didn't even think who Jim was, and she really didn't care too.
What only made her wonder was that this boy slled good. But at the sa ti, she also slled the malicious intent of this boy towards the little creature she carried.
Janine knew as well that this boy wasn't ordinary. Just by seeing the other party appearing and disappearing so suddenly could really make her on guard against the other party. She just didn't expect that besides her, there was actually another kid in the world who might be as strong as her. This really was interesting. Janine could even feel her heart beating in excitent. She really wanted to fight the other party now. But with the little creature with her, and with the other party intending to harm it, she couldn't be so careless.
If Janine was all alone, she might probably have rushed towards the other party without putting any care into anything at all. She might have beaten up the other party now. But since protecting the little creature she carried in her hand was of utmost importance, Janine put away all her carelessness and beca careful for the first ti in a long ti.
Both of them, Janine and Jim, stared at each other for a good while to have a grasp of each other. No one uttered a word as well. Knowing each other's intention, and strength perhaps, they waited who would likely make a move first.
The little creature, on the other hand, tilted its little head as it shifted its gaze to both Janine and Jim from ti to ti. But seeing the silence around, and felt being impatient, the little creature released itself from Janine's hand as it floated just in front of her.
Janine was surprised at first, but she didn't do anything to stop the little creature on whatever it wanted to do. After a mont of staring at Janine, the little creature turned around and flew towards Jim.
"Wait! It's dangerous there!" Janine was startled. How could this little cat be so careless?!
But before Janine could say any more words or do any other action to stop the little creature, she saw it already reached its distance towards Jim and was already hugging Jim's chest in joy. As if it just t its long-awaited knight in shining armor.
Janine felt her dead heart bled. Her whole world crumbled. Her first love was stolen just like that?! How could it be?! Janine gritted her teeth. Her hands were clenched into a fist to the point that her fingernails were tearing her flesh.
On the other hand, Jim was suddenly surprised by the action of this little beast hugging him before a smile ford on his lips. He patted the little head of the beast hugging him as he heaved a sigh of relief knowing that he didn't need to do an action such as absorbing the blood of this beast dry in order to ta it. That was really a huge save of effort and ti considering that he knew that he needed to fight the little girl just to get this beast and make it his tad beasts.
Jim was just about to give his blood towards the little beast when he suddenly felt a dangerous aura exuding out around him. What was going on? Even the little beast was alard.
"You've stolen my lover! You don't deserve to live!"
Jim was still trying to figure out what was going on when he suddenly heard such a cold voice. At that mont, Jim imdiately realized who said those words. It was the little girl! The one who he suspected as one of the X-rank Hunters!
This girl had gone mad! Jim could feel it! Just what kind of country bumpkin was she?! Her behavior was way too similar to that of a barbarian!
And what lover was she talking about? How could she call a re beast her lover? Did she thirst for love? What a pity.
Jim shook his head. From the looks of it, it appeared that this girl's power was probably related to physical strength. A knuckle-headed girl? That was sothing Jim had never expect for an X-rank Hunter.
So then, before the girl could even do anything against him, Jim suddenly disappeared only to be replaced by a red sparrow. He planned to take away the little beast first before fighting this brute.
"You!!!" Janine who had seen Jim suddenly disappearing again without leaving any traces suddenly felt enraged. The ground before her trembled as she stumped her feet on the ground and a crater was ford right away. At that mont, she really had gone into insanity. How could she not if her first love was just taken away from her right under her watch. This really was infuriating! That brat must die right here right now!
So to vent her anger, Janine chased the little red sparrow of which she still slled the stink of the person who tried to take away her little creature. The Blood Minion of Jim, on the other hand, tried to fly away in its hardest only to end up being caught by Janine. It frenziedly tried to struggle free from Janine's hand only to end up being chewed to death by the other party not long after it was caught.
anwhile, Jim who was now several kiloters away from Janine was just about to give a drop of his blood to the little beast for him to try taming it when suddenly, he lost connection with his Blood Minion that he left to mark the location and watch over the girl he t before. What happened? This was the second ti that sothing like this, his Blood Minion being killed, happened to him. The first ti was when he ran away from the Semi-demon woman (Kristina) who caught his Blood Minion off guard while his consciousness was still there. Considering the strength of that woman from before, Jim could still accept the death of his Blood Minion.
But now? The Blood Minion he left to watch over the girl he t before had just died? Just what kind of special ans did that girl do to kill his Blood Minion? It had to be known that his Blood Minion could continue living even after being smashed into a at paste. So how could it die now?
If Jim would just learn that his Blood Minion died a horrible death of being eaten, just how in the world would he react?
At that mont, however, Jim realized the strength of this X-rank Hunter he had just t. It really was interesting! And it only made his eagerness to fight the other party grew stronger.
With that being said, Jim waved his hand and a couple of droplets of blood appeared in the midair. Soon after that, the droplets of blood morphed into sparrows as they all spread right away to obey their master's command. They were just planning to search for the whereabouts of the little girl that their master had just t a little while ago.
No matter what, since they had already t, Jim should at least try to fight this little girl. He might as well bring out his full potential or perhaps, he might overco his limits if he fought this kind of opponent. Jim was just hoping that the other party wouldn't disappoint him and would display a good match.
