"Calm down Jim!"
Laude was now having a hard ti calming down Jim. The aura exuded out by the other party was getting more and more hostile. It felt like he was being suppressed. Laude was really astonished. It appeared that the already strong power of Jim was even getting stronger.
How could things end up like this?! If he knew that sothing like this would happen, he wouldn't have decided to play with this kid.
But what else could he do? What was done was already done. What was the point of regretting now?! Laude could only think of the way how could he suppress the other party. And only by suppressing him by force was the only way he could think.
With that in mind, and seeing that the situation was getting worse and worse, Laude suddenly appeared just behind Jim as he imdiately struck the other party's nape with his hand. Laude even needed to use more of his controlled strength to give the other party a considerable amount of damage.
So then, without any retaliation, Jim fell on the ground, unconscious. His hostile aura finally cald down as Laude on the other hand, finally heaved a sigh of relief.
****
Laude then opened his eyes as it appeared that he had finally escaped the illusion. And at that mont, Laude found himself under the sea of blood!
He was just thankful that although he was under the sea of blood, he could still see the surroundings as sothing like a red hue of clear water.
From the distance, he saw Jim floating unconscious. Laude hurriedly went towards the other party to get him. After so ti, he finally reached his distance towards Jim as he grabbed the other party and carried him to get out of this sea of blood.
After which, Laude swam to go to the surface of the sea of blood while carrying Jim with him. As he finally went to the surface, only then he heaved another sigh of relief.
At that ti, the huge waves weren't there to collide each other anymore. It appeared that after Laude had forced his grandson to fall unconscious, the world that the other party had created finally cald down.
After so more ti, the surroundings started to change. The eye in the sky faded and was replaced by the mighty sun. Slowly, the blood field faded and all turned back into normal.
"That's crazy..." Laude remarked while heaving yet another sigh of relief.
"!"
At that ti, however, Laude noticed six figures not too far away from him. He recognized all of them. He couldn't help but sigh in relief again.
"How's Jim?!" On the other hand, after Laude and Jim returned to the real world, Charley hurriedly and worriedly greeted the other party. She asked her father right away about Jim's condition after seeing her son. After which, she gently patted the head of Jim who was still carried by Laude like a princess.
A while ago in the illusion world created by Jim, and when Charley saw that the surroundings were suddenly calming down, she had guessed that her father had finally made a move to force Jim to fall. With that being said, all of them decided to leave the illusion world and wait for the good news instead.
"Don't worry, he is just fine. Maybe he is a bit tired?" Laude responded to Charley's worry. But he knew that what he'd said wasn't enough to ease the other party's worries.
"Did he learn the truth?" Charley asked another question. She'd guessed that this was the reason why did Jim go mad.
There was a mont of pause before Laude could reply, "Yes..."
It was noticeable that Charley beca sad at that mont. Laude couldn't do anything about it though, other than to shake his head. Even he himself didn't expect that the situation would go so out of control to the point that Jim would learn the truth ahead of ti.
But well, it was only a matter of hours before Jim learned about it at the right ti. With that, Laude thought that it was only fine since the other party would learn about it anyway.
It was just that, they weren't prepared. And also, just like what had happened, if Jim learned the truth ahead of ti, he could still have ti to go on a rampage. Compared to when Jim learned it later on and imdiately forget it right away, it was much better since he wouldn't have any ti to vent his anger anymore.
"!"
"Lolo?!" They were still lanting the fact that Jim learned the truth ahead of ti when suddenly, Jim woke up. The first one Jim had seen was his grandfather. He then slowly shifted his gaze around him and there he saw his mother and the others. Jim then said in a low voice, "Please put down Lolo..."
Laude carefully put down Jim on the ground. But he didn't say any words towards the other party.
The surroundings were then turned silent as no one dared to speak. Not until when Jim finally spoke, "I never expect that the price for this power that I've got was too great..."
"..." Still, no one dared to speak. They were waiting for what kind of reaction Jim would let out after this. Would he go rampant again? They hoped, especially Charley, that it wouldn't be the case.
"Tell , mom, will I still be your son in the future?" Jim recalled what his mother told him in chapter 24. His mother told him that no matter what happened in the future, he would always be her son and she would always be his mother. Jim wanted to hear that it would be the case although there was no way that he couldn't be her son.
Charley smiled. "What are you talking about?! How can you not be my son?! Even if this curse separates us, we will always be together in our hearts and our bond will never be shaken."
That was love! True love didn't an inseparable. It only ant that even when separated, nothing would change.
"Yes," Jim smiled at his mother, as he muttered excitedly as if he was talking to himself without anyone noticing, "I can finally escape from the hand of my tyrannical mother and grandfather!"
"What did you say?!" Charley was enraged!
"Huh? What are talking about mom?" Jim replied as if he didn't say anything at all.
"You! You!" Charley ground her teeth. She then turned around, crossed her arms, and then said, "It seems like you really want to leave us! Fine then!"
Jim thought that he would receive another beating but it appeared that his mother would go to the side and sulk instead. He was just joking to lower the mood and brighten up the atmosphere. He never thought that his mother would take it seriously.
Jim went closer to his mom but before he could even console his mother, he felt that soone hugged him from behind.
"Where are you going Kuya?! Will you leave us?" It was, of course, Jade. After watching them for so ti, she had learned that the situation was not for her to ddle with. But upon realizing what was going on, Jade had guessed that this big brother of her would go to so faraway place. She was afraid that she wouldn't be able to see her big brother anymore.
"..." Jim failed to say any words at that mont. Even his mother had turned around to see Jade. After a good while, Jim forced a smile as he said, "Yes little Jade, I'm going sowhere afar and travel the world. Who knows if I can et father in my journey?"
Jade released his big brother from her embrace as she said excitedly, "Then I will co with you!"
Jim didn't know whether to laugh or cry. This little sister of his was really courageous! How could it be that easy to et their father? Even so, he still turned around to face his little sister as he replied while patting her head, "You're still a kid. Maybe next ti?"
"But..." Jade pouted her lips. It was obvious that she refused to not co. She also wanted to et her father already. For even once in her life, she still yet to et her father personally since the other party left them even before she was born.
"If I et father, I will tell him to hurry up and go back ho already to et you! A king shouldn't let a princess wait in their house for a very long ti!" Seeing the concern on his little sister, Jim could only say those words. Although it was all an empty talk since there was no way he could recognize his father anymore sooner or later, it was all to appease Jade's willingness to co.
"Ok," Jade finally agreed oblivious to the fact that she was been fooled.
Seeing the two, Charley could only smile. She then heaved a sigh of relief before she said, "Ok! Playti is over, let us all go back ho!"
