Without opening it, just by touching, Tanya Sinclair could tell that it was filled with photographs.

A thick stack of them, she took out the photographs under Vincent Hawthorne’s keen gaze.

Photos of Declan Pierce.

Each one was shocking.

It was a side of Declan she had never seen.

The background was a stark white hospital room, he was tied to the bed, his eyes bloodshot, glaring at the cara like a beast.

Doctors and nurses gathered around the bed, as if observing a test subject.

Further down, he was strapped to an electric chair, his upper body bare, covered in scars large and small...

Tanya’s hand trembled slightly.

Vincent thought she was scared by the images.

He slightly curled his lips, holding back his smugness, and explained, "Before Declan returned to the country, he underwent a long period of treatnt abroad. He’s an extrely dangerous lunatic! Attacked dical staff several tis, the most dangerous person in the entire hospital!"

Tanya: "Where did you get these photos?"

"That’s not important. What’s important is, I want you to know the real Declan! He’s a madman, Tanya!" Vincent said softly, "He’s not right in the head. He’s taken banned substances, undergone electroshock, injections, near-death experiences... He even fought illegal matches, not for money, but for thrill-seeking!"

Vincent flipped to a photo of Declan standing in the ring, covered in blood, his dark and fierce eyes soaked in it. He smiled eerily, both insane and vicious.

Vincent couldn’t wait to reveal him, "Tanya, did you see? Declan is not a normal person!"

Tanya closed her eyes, striving to suppress her emotions.

But the scenes in the photographs played vividly in her mind, bloody and indelible.

Extre pain needed other extre pain to suppress...

Declan’s body, broken and reassembled, along with frequent blood draws and transfusions, used by The Pierce Family for experints.

He hurt too much.

"Tanya, there are a few more photos you must see!" Vincent eagerly displayed them to her.

Surrounded by four white walls, Declan was lying on the ground, drawing.

A simple charcoal pencil, they wouldn’t give him anything sharp, the ground was covered with them, all drawings of her, Tanya Sinclair.

"Tanya! Declan has been scheming all along! You’re just a tool for his thrill-seeking!" Vincent urged, "He doesn’t truly like you, love you, once he’s tired, who knows what this madman will do? Consider Joy and Caden even if you don’t care about yourself!"

Tanya lifted her eyelids, looking at him calmly, her indifferent expression leaving Vincent stunned.

Wasn’t she the most concerned about the two children?

"Tanya..."

"I’ll keep these photos safe." Tanya warned coldly, one word at a ti, "Don’t ever let hear you call Declan a madman again!"

Vincent was taken aback, "What do you an by this?"

He urgently grabbed the turning-to-leave Tanya Sinclair, she turned back and fiercely slapped the envelope she held onto his face!

Vincent was stunned by the blow, gritting his teeth, "Tanya Sinclair!"

Tanya smirked coldly, "What? Are you going to hit back? Don’t pretend to be noble, hitting won isn’t sothing you haven’t done before."

"..." Vincent clenched his molars, about to speak when a phone rang from his pocket, his nostrils flaring, stubbornly staring at Tanya Sinclair, unwilling to release his grip, while his other hand retrieved the phone.

Standing close, Tanya Sinclair clearly saw the caller ID showing a woman’s na.

—Leah Thorne.

She mocked, curling her lips.

Vincent almost desperately cut the call.

"She’s just a newly recruited employee." He explained.

Tanya shook off his hand, her face remaining calm.

"Whether’s she’s your employee or lover, I don’t care."

Walking a few steps away, Tanya turned back to look at Vincent still standing in place.

"I will only say this once. If I have any chance to marry again in this life, grow old with soone, that person will only be Declan."
