The next day, Tanya made a point to get up an hour early to get dressed.
Previously, when she took Joy to school, because she wasn’t dressed up, Joy complained that she was embarrassing and didn’t want her to be seen by the classmates, even asking her to park the car several ters away from the school gate.
Although Caden always complinted her, Tanya worried that he might also compare her in his heart.
"Morning, Mom." Caden, still half-asleep, ca out of his room, and upon seeing the dressed-up Tanya, he was taken aback, "Wow, Mom, are you a fairy today?"
In terms of emotional value, Caden was always spot on.
Tanya twirled around: "Caden, is it suitable for Mommy to go to your school’s parent-child activity like this today?"
"Mommy, you’re super beautiful, just like a fairy!" Caden sweetly complinted, looking at Tanya’s exquisitely made-up face, "But Mom, don’t you usually dislike putting on makeup?"
On workdays, Mom usually just washes her face, applies so skincare, and heads out.
Caden said seriously, "Anyway, whether you wear makeup or not, you’re always super beautiful. Just do whatever makes you comfortable!"
Tanya’s heart ward, "Thank you, darling. Mommy doesn’t have ti to dress up for work. But today, I want to be at my best for you."
Caden suddenly ran up and hugged Tanya.
"Mommy, it’s so good that you woke up and can be my mom."
Tanya felt her nose tingle.
"In the future, Mommy will never leave you again."
Aunt Tawny ca out of the kitchen with the prepared breakfast and saw the heartwarming scene of the mother and son, sincerely happy for Tanya. If only Joy hadn’t been taken in by the Hawthorne Family, led astray by that bad woman Cindy Lynn, she could also be with Ms. Sinclair, and the three of them could be reunited. How wonderful that would be!
What a pity...
Aunt Tawny sighed inwardly.
After breakfast, Caden went to change clothes and pack his things, and Tanya received a WeChat ssage from Daisy Bell.
She was going to shoot an advertisent for a top beauty brand today and sent Tanya a few on-site makeup photos.
Daisy Bell: [Look at my makeup, Bonnie. It’s definitely going to turn out amazing!]
Tanya opened the large image, a 45-degree angled selfie, making Daisy’s face look even more delicate and dainty, and besides Daisy’s beautiful face, she saw sothing else...
Since it was a picture sent to her, Daisy didn’t care about the angle. Her strapless dress today, viewed like this, hmm... very impressive!
Tanya: [Today’s figure is a perfect score!]
Daisy Bell: [Damn! I didn’t notice until you pointed it out! I’m really stacked!!]
Tanya could almost picture Daisy being srized by herself on the other end of the phone, unable to help but chuckle. Daisy imdiately called with a video chat.
Once connected, Daisy looked at Tanya’s exquisitely and wonderfully made-up face, and her eyes lit up.
"With a face like that, doing research is such a waste! I was about to remind you to tidy up nicely for the parent-child activity at school. That scumbag Vincent Hawthorne will definitely be there, and you could blind him with your radiance! But it seems I don’t need to worry now!"
Daisy put on a gratified smile of a proud elder sister.
"Let see what you’re wearing today?"
Tanya aid at the fitting mirror and switched the cara to external mode.
Daisy showered her with complints.
"Beautiful, beautiful, the off-the-shoulder ivory top is gentle and elegant! And with your curly hair, it’s perfect! Take a couple of beautiful photos and send them to ~ I want to save them as your caller ID image! That’s it for now, Bonnie, I have to test the lighting!"
Tanya smiled wryly, adjusted the angle in the mirror a bit, quickly took a couple of pictures, and sent them to her recent contacts.
"Mommy, I’m ready. Let’s go." Caden ca out with his little backpack.
Tanya hurriedly sent Daisy the final ssage: [I feel the chest area isn’t holding up well.] and pocketed her phone.
"We’re off now, Caden."
At the elevator entrance, Mason Vance happened to co out of the elevator.
"Good morning, Ms. Sinclair, Caden." At Tanya’s strong insistence, Mason finally started calling her Ms. Sinclair. Otherwise, it would have been odd being called Little Miss outside with a child this big.
Caden greeted politely, "Good morning, Uncle Mason."
Tanya: "Mason, everything at ho is packed up. I appreciate you and Aunt Tawny taking the ti to move everything to the old house today. I’ve given Aunt Tawny the keys."
Mason promptly agreed, "No problem."
Tanya instructed, "I’ve locked Grandpa’s study, there’s no need to tidy up that room."
"Got it, Miss."
After giving Mason the instructions, Tanya took Caden to the elevator to the B1 parking lot.
"Mommy," Caden curiously asked, "why is the study locked? Is there a secret there?"
Tanya’s mind drifted to Grandma Iris Keene’s Amber Coffin, her thoughts grew heavy, but in a flicker, she casually explained to Caden, "Not really, just that Grandpa doesn’t like others touching his things and doesn’t like anyone besides him entering the study."
"Mommy, can I visit Great-grandpa?" Caden inquired.
He only knew that Great-grandpa was sick, staying at a nursing ho, no longer recognizing people.
Tanya softly replied, "We’ll visit if there’s a chance in the future, darling."
In the parking lot, Tanya found her car, got into the driver’s seat, fastened her seatbelt, planning to connect to the phone’s Bluetooth and listen to the news.
However, the screen popped up with an unread ssage from Declan Pierce.
Declan Pierce: [Very beautiful, just perfect.]
Tanya felt confused, clicked in, and instantly wanted to hide under a rock.
She had mistakenly sent the ssage and two selfies ant for Daisy Bell to Declan!
Daisy was her pinned contact, and now Declan was too!!
Tanya: "..."
Seeing the comnt [just perfect], she was suddenly embarrassed and wished she could disappear.
She could only brace herself and reply to Declan: [I sent it to the wrong person...]
Declan Pierce: [?]
The next second, Declan’s voice call ca through, and Tanya quickly put on her headset before answering.
