"Tanya! Can you give another chance?" Vincent Hawthorne’s eyes were filled with red-streaked veins, as he whispered, "We have so many years of feelings, and we still have two kids..."

"Impossible!" Tanya Sinclair was utterly disgusted by his suggestion, "If you continue to harass , I won’t consider the kids anymore, I’ll call the police directly!"

"Tanya..." Vincent still wanted to say sothing, but Mason Vance, who happened to walk by, saw them and rushed over to push Vincent away.

"Are you okay?" Mason looked at Tanya with concern.

"I’m fine."

"Miss Tanya, please go upstairs first." Mason fixed his eyes on Vincent, his fists already clenched, ready to act if Vincent stepped forward again.

"Mason, don’t use violence." Tanya held Mason back.

Vincent thought she still cared about him, his eyes brightened for a mont, but in the next second, Tanya called over two security guards who were patrolling by.

"Hello, soone is harassing here, please handle it."

Tanya was naturally not worried about Vincent getting beaten, just afraid Mason would get into trouble.

The two security guards imdiately surrounded Vincent.

As Tanya turned to go upstairs, she heard Vincent shouting, "I’m her ex-husband! The father of her two children! Let go of ! Tanya..."

Tanya didn’t even look back and went straight into the elevator.

When she reached the doorstep, about to open the door, Caden appeared at the entrance, specifically to welco her.

"Mom! You’re finally back, we saved you so dinner."

Tanya looked at her son’s innocent, adorable face, her heart softened, "Thank you, sweetheart."

There were already several packed boxes in the living room.

Aunt Tawny poked her head out from the kitchen, "Ma’am, I’ll heat up the food for you, it’ll be ready soon."

"Okay."

While Aunt Tawny was heating the food, Tanya took out her phone for a look, noticing several more likes on the post she just shared, and unsurprisingly, the first like was from Declan Pierce.

Declan Pierce: [Goodnight.]

Zion Monroe: [Smirk JPG. Goodnight, sis!]

And Daisy Bell, completely oblivious to the situation.

Daisy: [The moonlight isn’t as beautiful as my darling you!!]

Tanya couldn’t help but chuckle, she replied to Daisy with two hearts.

Aunt Tawny brought over the heated als.

"Ma’am, we don’t have much stuff at ho, I should be able to pack it all in the next two days. Then, when the moving company cos, one truck should be enough to move us to the new place."

"Alright, thank you for your hard work, Aunt Tawny. I’ll find soone to help you tomorrow."

"No, no need," Aunt Tawny waved her hand, "It’s not much work. Once you’re at work and Caden’s at school, I can handle it myself! You pay twenty thousand a month, plus additional expenses for groceries and stuff, and I only need to prepare breakfast and dinner, and do so light cleaning, it’s quite easy! Unlike before at the mansion, it was not just a lot of work, but emotionally draining. Seeing Mr. Hawthorne’s stubborn attitude every day made feel like I was shaving years off my life!"

At the ntion of Vincent, Aunt Tawny deliberately lowered her voice to keep Caden from hearing on the sofa.

Tanya smiled, not bringing up Vincent’s act of following Aunt Tawny here, not wanting to make her overthink.

After dinner, Tanya received a ssage from property managent saying they had blacklisted Vincent from the neighborhood, and he wouldn’t be allowed in anymore.

Tanya changed into her ho pajamas and spent so ti playing with Caden.

Caden was fiddling with an educational Rubik’s Cube and suddenly asked, "Mom, next week is grandma’s birthday, are you really not going back?"

"I’m busy with work that day, I’ll have Aunt Tawny take you." Tanya remained calm.

"Oh, okay." Caden pursed his lips, clearly wanting to say more.

Tanya put down what she was holding and looked at her son seriously, "Sweetheart, is there anything else you want to tell mom?"

Caden hesitated for a mont and softly asked, "Mom, will you attend the parent-child activity on the weekend?"

"Of course, mom will never miss your events again."

"And for Joy’s side, will mom go too?" Caden looked up at Tanya.

The smile on Tanya’s lips froze slightly. After a mont, she ruffled Caden’s hair and gently said, "If... Joy really wants to be her mom and attend."

Caden’s eyes shifted, "Mom, Joy definitely wants you to go! She just won’t admit it... I’m worried you’re still mad at Joy. I thought you hated her and wouldn’t want to talk to her in this life."

Is there any mother in this world who could truly be angry with her own daughter?

She was just heartbroken by Joy and chose not to force it anymore.

Tanya spent a little more ti playing with Caden, and when it was getting late, she urged him to go shower and sleep.

Tanya returned to her room, closed the door, and took out a blood-stained gauze.

She had secretly cut it while Declan went to fetch the painting.

Tanya made a call to Caron Wenworth.

"Senior brother, I’d like to ask you to help analyze the blood composition on this gauze. I’ll bring it to your lab by nine tomorrow morning."

"Okay." Caron responded straightforwardly, not asking further questions.

After setting aside the bloodied bandage, Tanya took out the painting she brought back.

She had seen a saying online that a cara, being emotional, would make you look beautiful if the person loved you.

Tanya thought, perhaps paintbrushes were emotional too. An eighteen-year-old Tanya, in Declan’s sketch, appeared stunningly beautiful.

Her fingers gently brushed over it, suddenly feeling remorseful.

At eighteen, she never took the ti to truly rember Declan...

The next day.

Tanya delivered the gauze to Caron Wenworth’s lab on ti.

The blood on the gauze looked just like regular human blood, only it was very fresh, as if just pulled from a wound.

Caron began extracting the blood from the gauze imdiately for examination.

Tanya waited at the door, and after an hour, the lab door opened.

Caron looked rather complex, with rarely seen astonishnt in his eyes.

"Tanya, what kind of creature does this blood belong to?" Caron questioned, almost incredulous, "I’ve never seen such blood composition! It seems like..."

Caron felt his worldview being challenged and took a mont to gather his thoughts.

"It seems to have regenerative abilities, and there’s an immune protein in the plasma I’ve never encountered before. To exaggerate a bit, with enough of this blood, resurrection from the dead might not be impossible!"

At that mont, Tanya fully understood why Declan was able to wake her up.

He had changed her blood, draining himself to replace all of hers; that’s why she managed to recover consciousness miraculously, despite being in a vegetative state, until she woke up.

Moreover, her recovery of her limbs’ functions was much quicker than usual, and with constant acupuncture, she was nearly back to normal in less than a week.

"This definitely isn’t human blood composition!" Caron asserted excitedly, "Although most components are the sa, the ratio and quantity of blood cells are completely different. It’s like human tissue broken apart then randomly reassembled! The cells even devour each other, this is terrifying."

The answer lay right before her.

Despite how unbelievable it was, eliminating all impossibilities left her with the only truth.

"Senior brother, I’ll explain to you soday. But for now, it’s not the right ti." After bidding farewell to Caron, Tanya returned to her car and sat for a long ti, gradually piecing together the entire tiline in her mind...
