Declan Pierce drove Tanya Sinclair to the cetery. He didn’t need navigation; he was very familiar with this route because he had been there many tis over the past five years.

Midway, Declan stopped the car near a flower shop that was still open. He asked Tanya to wait in the car while he got out to buy two bouquets for the morial.

The shop owner smiled as soon as she saw him.

"Mr. Pierce, you’re here again." Then, she noticed a woman sitting in the passenger seat through the open car window. "Is that your wife?"

The shop owner was full of gossip, "She’s so pretty, you two make a perfect match!"

Declan smiled faintly at her words, scanning his paynt as he replied, "Not yet."

The flower shop wasn’t far from the cetery.

Soon, the car reached the entrance of the cetery, and Declan and Tanya got out, ready to go inside.

Suddenly, a luxury car sped over from the other side and screeched to a halt ten ters away from Declan.

Wynn Winslow angrily slamd the door and got out of the car.

"Second brother!" she glared at Tanya with ill temper and said angrily, "I knew there was sothing wrong between you and this woman! You left at the hotel to et her! I don’t care; you’re coming back with now! Otherwise, I’ll tell dad that you’re not taking good care of !"

Declan frowned slightly and handed the flowers to Tanya.

Before he could speak, Tanya said, "It’s alright, you can go with Ms. Winslow first. I’ll include this offering when I pay my respects."

She already knew Wynn’s identity—it was true she was a delicate little princess.

And Declan, being the illegitimate child of the Pierce Family, naturally couldn’t afford to offend her.

She understood this.

Declan had taken care of her so much; she didn’t want to cause him any trouble.

After saying this, Tanya turned to leave, but Declan grabbed her arm, his grip a bit heavy. Tanya turned back in confusion and t his dark, intense gaze, which clearly held so emotion.

Was he... angry?

Declan suppressed his temper and said coldly, "Stand here and wait for for two minutes."

With that, he released her and walked towards Wynn.

Wynn smirked, believing Declan was going to leave with her.

"Second brother...ah!"

Without a word, Declan grabbed her collar from behind like she was a chick flapping around in his hand.

"Second brother! What are you doing?! Let go!"

Declan threw her back into her car and locked the doors, leaving only a small crack in the window.

He warned with a sharp tone, "If this happens again, I’ll tie you to a boat and send you back!"

Wynn protested, "Second brother!"

Declan closed even the small window crack, the car’s soundproofing shutting out any noise, creating a peaceful quiet.

Declan walked back to Tanya, took the flowers from her hand again, and walked inside.

Tanya looked back uneasily.

"Leaving her locked in the car like that, is it okay?"

She was worried it might affect Declan’s standing with The Pierce Family.

Declan ignored her.

Tanya could see he wasn’t happy and vaguely guessed it was because she had told him to go with Wynn.

She wasn’t soone who knew how to comfort others, fearing the more she spoke, the more unhappy he would beco, so she chose to remain silent.

At the grave, Declan bowed solemnly to offer his respects.

"Aunt Sinclair, it’s been a while."

Watching Declan bow deeply at a ninety-degree angle, Tanya thought of Vincent Hawthorne.

After all, she had only brought two n here to her mother’s grave.

Vincent at the ti had been reluctant, even while paying respects and burning incense for her mother, he only gave a slight bow.

"Tanya Sinclair."

Declan straightened up and looked back at her.

The moon here was unobstructed, and its silvery light fell on his face.

He pursed his lips slightly, "Don’t say such foolish things in the future."

Tanya was taken aback, and in the next second, she heard Declan’s voice, each word clearly reaching her ears.

"I won’t leave you to fend for yourself because of anyone." Declan took a half step forward, his dark eyes deeply locking onto hers, the pain in his eyes hidden deep within, he said slowly, "So, Tanya Sinclair, you don’t need to be so considerate of ."

On the tombstone, Charlotte Sinclair’s gentle and smiling photo seed to be watching this scene...

On the other side of the night.

Vincent Hawthorne returned to the villa, not surprised to find Aunt Tawny’s door on the first floor tightly closed.

Since he couldn’t stop Cindy Lynn from visiting, she chose not to see it to avoid being upset.

Vincent took off his coat and threw it aside carelessly, not noticing that his wallet fell out.

He went straight upstairs, where Cindy Lynn just erged from the master bedroom.

"Vincent, you’re back."

She was still wearing pajamas, a silk camisole underneath, with an open matching robe on top.

Vincent frowned, "Why did you co over? And what are you wearing?"

"I missed Joy, and she missed too, so I ca to keep her company. These are my pajamas, don’t you like them?" Cindy approached, her fingers hooking onto Vincent’s belt, moving closer with an amorous gaze, "I’ll be moving in soon, becoming the lady of the house, right? So, I brought my pajamas this ti..."

As she spoke, she stood on tiptoe to kiss Vincent’s lips, but Vincent turned his head slightly to avoid it, and Cindy’s kiss landed on his cheek instead.

The allure and seduction in Cindy’s eyes instantly froze.

"I’ll go check on Joy and them first." Vincent held her by the shoulders, pushing her aside as he walked towards the children’s bedroom.

Cindy stared at his back, her eyes burning with jealousy!

Vincent had never been so cold to her before!

It must have been that bitch Tanya Sinclair who said sothing to him again!

Suddenly, Cindy’s gaze shifted as she saw Vincent’s wallet that had fallen on the floor.

She stepped over, picked it up, and casually opened it to take a look.

Seeing the photo in the compartnt, Cindy’s face changed dramatically!
