As the first and largest African-exclusive television network in the United States, BET had trendous influence on the African community.

However, because most of its users were below the poverty line, BET was not favored by advertisers.

Naturally, its financial situation was also quite dire at one point.

All of this changed after 1992, when the Los Angeles riots, sparked by the "Rodney King" case, completely altered the landscape.

The founder, Robert Johnson, seeing the imnse destructive power when his own race and news were combined, began to change his business strategy.

Essentially, he dug up so very influential news figures within the African community.

Then, he sought governnt financial assistance.

When demands were t, these individuals would announce on television that "the situation with racial discrimination is being improved."

Otherwise, it was, "We’re going to take to the streets to express our opinions."

It must be said that although this thod was shaless, it was indeed very effective.

After several years of developnt, BET had successfully ranked among the top fifteen television networks in the United States.

At this ti, within BET’s presidential office, a middle-aged black man was reporting to Robert Johnson.

"NBC is asking us to organize so Africans in public to protest the ’religious discrimination’ of that Asian writer."

"In exchange, NBC will provide an exclusive channel for BET."

"Specific channel information and promotional resources?" Robert Johnson picked up his coffee and took a light sip.

"They didn’t ntion it," the subordinate shrugged, "Apparently, that Asian writer isn’t worth much more in their eyes."

Johnson frowned and looked at his subordinate, "Did you get the schedule of that Asian writer?"

"Got it." The subordinate opened his briefcase and handed over a docunt.

Johnson took the docunt and, with a snort of laughter, said, "A won’s rights rally, Hillary Clinton?"

Alright, although Robert Johnson was also a mber of the Democrat Party, he wasn’t interested in so-called "won’s rights movents."

He cared more about money and, to extend that a bit, the African equality movent.

"Should we refuse?" the subordinate asked quietly, "After all, we are a Democrat Party television station."

"And the Clintons have considerable prestige within the Democrat Party."

"Cut it out; we are African!" Robert Johnson answered offhandedly, "We must have our secured seats in both parties."

"And as the largest African television station, BET has the right to hedge bets on both sides."

"By the way," he asked an unrelated question, "Has the financial support from New York City been secured?"

"No," the subordinate answered, "The mayor’s office has sent the support report back, saying we need to cut the budget."

"Giuliani!" Robert Johnson cursed softly, "It’s ti to show our muscles."

"Agree to NBC!" the Black Tycoon pondered and added, "But make sure to keep things under a certain level of control."

Control?

The subordinate looked at the president, a bit dazed.

Events involving groups were inherently uncontrollable.

And besides, they were African!

Johnson patted his subordinate on the shoulder, "Don’t look for gang mbers, but for African nerds."

"They are facing won and don’t need too much fighting prowess."

Eh...

The subordinate thought about it and felt it made sense.

But African nerds?

These rare animals were indeed too scarce.

He would have to search thoroughly.

Robert Johnson watched his subordinate’s leaving figure and smiled slightly.

"It can both fulfill the request of NBC and put pressure on the Clintons."

"And through the Clintons, pressure Giuliani, without offending the President too much."

"Heh, thanks to you," he picked up the docunt and glanced at it, "this guy nad Wang Jian!"

...

New York, inside a Jewish family’s ho.

12-year-old Mark Zuckerberg was intently refreshing the webpage.

Ever since he got access to wangwen and Twitter, he had completely forsaken outdoor activities.

With the Twitter IPO, the servers and bandwidth had significantly improved.

How did Zuckerberg know?

Because just recently, so bizarre ssages had co, attacking his idol, Wang Jian.

The contents were roughly: not following rules, not taking care of family and brothers, etc.

Looking at these ssages with obvious African attributes, Zuckerberg imdiately launched a counterattack.

After an afternoon of keyboard typing, he realized that Twitter’s service quality had greatly improved.

"Tch, no fighting power at all," Zuckerberg regretted saying after one-against-many.

At that mont, the spirited Zuckerberg uploaded the chat screenshots to the "Anomalies" topic area.

As a loyal fan of "Anomalies," he was already very familiar with many people here.

"How co I haven’t encountered anyone slandering Wang Jian, @Zuckerberg, did you make it up yourself?"

"No, I encountered it too," soone spoke up for Zuckerberg, "But they were too weak."

"They were quickly driven away by us."

Alright, it turned out they were too weak, not that he was too strong.

Zuckerberg was self-reflecting in his mind.

At that ti, soone left a ssage: Wang’s new book has been released!

Wang Jian, a new work?

Zuckerberg was delighted and imdiately clicked the link to enter the directory.

But as soon as he saw the catalog, he felt a sinking feeling in his heart.

It was a female-oriented work like "Harem Boleyn Family"!

Zuckerberg gritted his teeth and forced himself to read through the free section.

But he couldn’t keep going with the content in the later parts.

Even if it was written by Wang Jian.

He went back to the "Anomalies" topic area to complain to his fellow readers.

Unexpectedly, the noisy fans reached a consensus on this issue.

Writing female-oriented works was really a waste of Wang Jian’s talent!

"I just went to the ’Female Pope’ discussion area, and they’re all praising Wang Jian." Soone sent over a screenshot.

Zuckerberg glanced at it and felt a pain in his eyes.

It actually said: Wang should write more works like "Harem Boleyn" and "Female Pope" and should not waste his talent on "Arcane Throne" and "Anomalies"!

Zuckerberg clenched his teeth and began to type on the keyboard: We must go and teach them a lesson!

What if Wang sees those comnts and truly starts to create female-oriented works?

"But there seem to be a lot of them, can we out-argue them?"

"Ha, we just scared away those troublemakers, who seed to be African, with only a small part of our group, let alone this ti when we’re all assembled!"

"That’s right, just won, how much fighting power can they have?"

"I think they probably had soone else turn on their computers for them."

Thus, under the encouragent of Zuckerberg and others, the people from the "Anomalies" topic area charged into the "Female Pope" discussion area en masse.

Because of the huge difference in numbers, they easily won the first round.

"Ugh, boring!" Zuckerberg shut down his computer and went to do so outdoor sports.

The urging of his parents was one reason, but on the other hand, aside from Wang Jian’s new work, he really didn’t want to read anything else.

But outdoor sports really weren’t Zuckerberg’s thing.

So, a few hours later, he turned on his computer again.

"Beep beep beep beep beep~"

The notification sound from Twitter kept ringing.

This scared Zuckerberg!

When he checked the ssages, he discovered that there were so many curse words in English!

He retorted to the other party while consulting his friends.

Only then did he realize that the female fans of "Female Pope" had launched a counterattack.

"I can’t hold on anymore!" A comrade-in-arms sent a ssage, "The words these won use are too ugly!"

"I’m about to lose it!"

"Judah!" Zuckerberg switched windows, cursed the other party, and then quickly switched back to continue the fight.

But... these won’s combat capability was too strong; he too was beginning to struggle.

"No way!" Zuckerberg encouraged himself, "I haven’t lost yet!"

His keyboard was rapidly tapped, to the point he felt his fingers might catch fire.

"You don’t have a girlfriend, you’ll never have a girlfriend, be single for life!!"

This ssage completely ignited his anger!

If initially, it was only a verbal attack, now it turned into a personal attack.

Well, at least for Zuckerberg.

He quickly opened the search engine, searching for the most vicious phrases to curse won.

Zuckerberg copied and pasted while imagining how the other party would feel upon reading these sentences.

It was exhilarating for him.

But at that mont, with a "squeaking" sound, Zuckerberg’s computer screen began to flicker.

"Uh, please don’t let it be overheating and burning the hardware!" he prayed as he touched the case!

It was scorching hot!

Zuckerberg prayed for no more Twitter ssages as he hurriedly shut down his computer.

But as the "beep beep" sounded, his computer completely blacked out!

Burnt out?

Burnt out!!!

Zuckerberg stared blankly at his computer, feeling sowhat tearless.

Suddenly, he started cursing wildly, "fuck, fuck, fuck!"

"When I grow up, I’m definitely going to build a social network and ban all those bitches!"

"Mark," a middle-aged woman looked towards the bedroom, "did you just curse?"

"No!" Zuckerberg quickly turned his head, squeezed out a smile, and said sincerely.

"I heard it too!" A man with a small hat walked to the bedroom door, "fuck, bitch and so on!"

"Then you’ve been cursing and lying!" The mother spoke seriously, "No allowance for you this month!"

"Ah, no!" Inside the bedroom, a boy’s scream sounded, "My computer!"
