At 6 p.m., inside the NBC skyscraper.

A young journalist was looking at an elderly Caucasian man, his face ashen.

Opposite him was the CEO of NBC, a true heavyweight in the United States dia industry.

"Why didn’t you cut the broadcast then?" the old man asked sharply. "Don’t you know the rules of the news industry?"

The young journalist hung his head low and inwardly cursed his luck.

He had already directed the caraman away from the disturbance to film the basketball star, Ewing.

But who could have anticipated that Ewing, holding a torch, would walk right into the heart of the chaos?

Everything had happened much too fast...

A young vice president watched the journalist and weighed the pros and cons in his mind.

Since his arrival from Viacom, the NBC executives hadn’t shown him much respect.

If he couldn’t even protect the news departnt trying to curry favor with him, the work he would have to do at NBC in the future would beco much harder.

And without any achievents, he might lose this rare opportunity of an overseas assignnt!

"Ahem," he coughed lightly, breaking the heavy atmosphere in the office.

"Things can go awry in a live broadcast, and such incidents can be forgiven."

"We just need to focus our follow-up coverage on racial discrimination."

"As for ntioning ABC’s na, we can just avoid that."

The CEO eyed the young vice president with a sharp gaze.

The old man had so understanding of the ss his subordinates had created.

However, considering his age, he spoke in a more mollified tone, "I suggest you still report this to Viacom’s top brass, as this is no trivial matter."

"We need to communicate with ABC, or it will lead to a dia war."

"A dia war?" The young vice president almost scoffed. "With an ABC that’s about to be acquired by Disney?"

"Behind stands NBC, and Viacom, which is prepping to acquire CBS!"

However, he still nodded respectfully to the elderly man, saying, "I understand."

Once the CEO had left the office, the head of the news departnt quietly asked the vice president, "What should we do?"

"The Olympic torch relay ceremony was broadcast live by many foreign dia outlets."

"With British dia present, failing to cover the event would greatly undermine the newfound clout of our news broadcasts."

"Shift the focus to the civil rights movent," the vice president said, sipping his coffee slowly. "As for that Asian author, what’s the harm in portraying him as an Equal Rights Hero?"

"After all, he’s Simon and Schuster’s Editor-in-Chief’s problem, not ours."

At that mont, the so-called "problem" was attending a party in the Hilton Hotel lobby in Manhattan.

Just before NASDAQ closed for the day, Twitter finally saw a sell order executed at $42 per share.

This was a 50% increase over the offered price of $28.

Therefore, Twitter’s market value jumped from the $600 million valuation set by underwriters to $900 million.

Though this increase wasn’t as dramatic as Netscape or Yahoo’s, it was still far above Hotmail’s.

"Wang, congratulations," Lehman said, holding a champagne flute and smiling slightly. "You have truly beco a billionaire!"

Oh yeah!

Wang Jian was doing ntal victory laps.

But on the surface, he just smiled calmly and gestured towards the partygoers, "I think everyone here has had a handso return on this deal."

"Exactly!" An inebriated Tom chid in, "Everyone benefits, so why isn’t this party as lively as the ones we had in college!"

"As far as I know, Wall Street parties are usually quite wild."

He patted his jacket pocket and muttered in a low voice, "And here I went to all this trouble."

"Uh..." Lehman glanced back at the party, his expression slightly awkward, "I think everyone is still reeling from the incident."

"After all, witnessing thousands of n stripping simultaneously is quite a visual shock."

"Pfft," Jack Dorsey strolled up to the trio at that mont.

He disdainfully said, "The Wall Street elite have such poor psychological resilience!"

"Look at us, we’ve already snapped back."

"Exactly," Tom loudly agreed, "Not just this ti, but the last awards ceremony, and the ti before that when the Nokia president visited, it took us at most half an hour to return to normal."

"Uh?" Lehman’s eyes suddenly widened with surprise as he asked, "You’ve encountered many of these strip-down gatherings?"

Holy shit!

Wang Jian suddenly began to cough violently.

He pressed his chest while frantically waving his hands, "No, not many tis at all!"

Then, Wang Jian quickly changed the subject, "Mr. Lehman, this party is a bit dull, should we liven up the atmosphere?"

Lehman scanned Tom, Dorsey, and finally settled on Wang Jian with a puzzled look.

"I always feel you guys have been through a lot of incredible things."

"Forget it," he shook his head and smiled, "After all, today is a day worth commorating."

"As for the atmosphere, don’t worry."

"Just watch the NBC news broadcast later, the allure of money will drive these people wild."

The allure of money?

Wang Jian began to calculate his net worth on paper.

The key point was, like Jim Clark, Yang Zhiyuan, and other "technology elite," he would beco a symbol of technology and wealth.

"Sigh, if soone asks about my wealth, how should I answer?" Wang Jian scratched his head a little worriedly.

"I don’t love money, I’m not interested in money."

"The happiest tis are when I’m writing in a cheap apartnt, right?"

Shit! That seems a bit pretentious!

At that mont, Lehman looked at his watch, pointed at the TV, and said, "Let’s go watch it together, our own wealth myth."

And the people in the hall, just like Wang Jian and the others, crowded in front of the television.

"Today, NASDAQ welcod a new stock, Twitter, following Netscape, Yahoo, and Hotmail as the fourth internet company to go public."

Wang Jian fixed his eyes on the screen, ready to enjoy his own bell-ringing ceremony, but the image suddenly changed, showing footage of Ewing holding his hand.

"However, compared to the wealth myths created by other internet companies, what happened on the spot is even more our focus."

"Wang, I support you," ca Ewing’s voice, "Support for African equal rights!"

Huh? What about my wealth ranking?

What the hell kind of twist is this?

I have absolutely no interest in whites discriminating against blacks or blacks discriminating against whites!

"Because of this event, famous African-Arican actors, singers, sports stars, and others have given interviews expressing their support for Twitter’s founder Wang from afar."

Hollywood star Eddie Murphy appeared on the screen, "Wang, your contributions to African equality have moved ."

Famous sports star Michael Jordan cut into the fra, "As an African, Wang, I’m very grateful to you."

The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, finally appeared on TV, "Just like I sing in my songs, different races should live together in peace, without discrimination."

"Wang, I’m really interested in your story; are you interested in appearing in my next music video?"

"An equal rights hero?" Tom muttered, looking at Wang Jian.

"Racial equality?" Dorsey also turned to Wang Jian, a puzzled expression on his face.

"I’m not, I didn’t, stop talking nonsense!" Wang Jian almost spat out a mouthful of blood under the gazes around him.

At that mont, his phone rang.

Wang Jian answered the call, and Jas’s voice ca through.

"Wang, after becoming an equal rights hero, are you interested in becoming a representative of writers to resist the invasion of capitalism?"
