"Dorsey, are you really not going back to New York for the dia interviews?" Wang Jian asked, holding his phone, "You are the founder of Twitter!"

"Ha," Dorsey laughed on the other end, "You hold the most shares, you are the founder."

"According to Tom, even your walking posture has to be corrected now?"

"Ha ha!"

Damn!

Wang Jian slamd the hang-up button and leaned back in his chair, "This image designer is just a maniac!"

But at the sound of high heels clicking "tap, tap," he quickly sat up straight.

"Mr. Wang, we should continue."

"Please, I’m just going public to stand on stage and boast to the public, do we have to be so serious?"

Wang Jian looked at the blonde-haired woman in a long dress, loudly complaining.

"I’m not Johnny Depp."

"If you were an actor, I wouldn’t have accepted this invitation," Irene replied emotionlessly. "Otherwise, I could never find work in Hollywood again."

"Goldman Sachs hired at a high price just to spend a few days creating a barely acceptable persona for you."

"Barely?" Wang Jian glared at her, raising his voice, "Looking lancholic and speaking slowly, is that your writer persona?"

"I know Stephen King, and he’s not like that, okay?"

"But, Hemingway was."

Lehman, entering the room unexpectedly, said with a smile, "And Hemingway was even more valuable."

"Hemingway?" Wang Jian flipped him the bird, "Why don’t you say, I’m getting the Nobel Prize in Literature?"

"There’s no ti for that," Lehman shrugged. "Besides, by the ti wangwen goes public, winning the Nobel Prize in Literature would have even more impact."

"Holy shit!" Wang Jian looked at Lehman, astonished, "You guys can’t seriously be considering that?"

"Heh heh." Lehman laughed briefly, waving his hand, "A journalist is about to arrive."

"Mr. Wang, do you have a lover?" Irene suddenly asked.

"If you do, you could invite them; it would be appropriate to make an appearance," she continued.

"People who invest in stocks in the United States are mostly middle class, right?" Wang Jian was a bit perplexed. "And doesn’t the middle class tend to be more conservative?"

"You’re an artist," Irene responded, "Public moral standards for artists are completely different."

"Heh heh, Wang, you must have heard of ’The Girl with the Earring’," Lehman explained with a laugh.

"It wasn’t that valuable, until they concocted a beautiful extramarital romance story."

This... is a moral decline!

Wang Jian said indignantly, "I do have one! It’s just... not convenient for her to appear."

"Then I’ll fill in," Irene thought for a mont and replied, "if you don’t mind."

Wang Jian stared at her wide-eyed, "Aren’t you afraid of the repercussions?"

"Heh heh," Irene chuckled, shaking her head, "An image designer who is the lover of a billionaire, in Hollywood, my price could rise quite a lot."

"Never mind," Lehman shook his head, "Let’s not take the risk."

At that mont, the door to the Goldman Sachs conference room opened.

"Mr. Lehman, the CBS reporter has arrived."

"Wang, rember, you’re an artist and a technology elite!" Lehman quickly reminded him, "And that’s the key distinction between you and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs!"

God damn artists!

Wang Jian nodded, signifying his understanding.

Shortly thereafter, a few reporters entered the conference room.

"Mr. Wang, Mr. Lehman, may we begin?"

After receiving affirmative responses, the reporters set up their caras.

"Recently, with the casting of ’Anomalies and Creatures,’ a communication tool called Twitter ca into our view."

"Today, we’ve connected with the founder of Twitter, Mr. Wang Jian."

"And what’s surprising is that he is not only a technology elite but also a bestselling author."

"On the bestseller list, ranked seventh is ’Arcane Throne,’ authored by him."

"And the TV series ’Anomalies and Creatures’ is adapted from his novel of the sa na."

"Mr. Wang, hello." The reporter began with the pre-discussed question, "What exactly inspired you to create this communication tool, Twitter?"

"It’s not really my invention," Wang Jian started, gradually responding, "It was invented by a book friend nad Jack Dorsey."

"Of course, I also participated in refining it later."

"Its original purpose was simply to discuss plotlines with fellow book enthusiasts."

"So," the reporter continued, "was the surge in Twitter’s growth just an accident?"

"Yes," Wang Jian nodded, "When ’Anomalies and Creatures’ was being adapted, people started discussing the casting on Twitter."

"And then," he continued, shaking his head ruefully, "suddenly, many more users appeared."

"What were your feelings at that ti, Mr. Wang Jian?"

"It was like when my first book unexpectedly beca a success," Wang Jian lanted, "Honestly, I never intended to beco a writer; I wrote just to express myself."

"Ha," the reporter spoke to the cara, "That’s what makes a genius a genius; they are extraordinary in their own way."

"Bill Gates wanted to use computers more conveniently, so he invented the MS-DOS operating system."

"Who knows how far Twitter can go, whether it will beco an industry leader like Microsoft?"

...

Silicon Valley, Apple’s R&D center.

Wozniak sat in the lounge, trying to alleviate so of the fatigue from work.

He tucked his phone back in his pocket and sighed helplessly.

"What’s Wang up to lately, why hasn’t he updated ’Anomalies and Creatures’?"

He grabbed the remote, bored, flipping through channels, only to suddenly freeze.

"That just now... was that Wang? The bestselling author?"

Wozniak switched to CBS, tuning into tech news that was discussing Twitter.

During a recent episode, he recalled arguing with soone on Twitter about ’Anomalies and Creatures’ casting.

"Actually... using Twitter to relieve stress is quite nice."

Wozniak watched the TV and soon furrowed his brows.

Wang’s slightly awkward, forced actions suddenly reminded him of an old friend.

Back then, his friend was still wearing a shirt, not a high-collared black sweater.

Ever since hiring an image designer for the IPO, everything had changed.

A sweater specially designed by a Japanese designer suddenly beca a symbol of being down-to-earth?

Wozniak tugged at his branded shirt, smirking.

That piece of clothing cost more than his Armani!

He watched a bit more TV, gradually confirming his guess.

"Going public, huh?"

He sipped his coffee, privately speculating, "Is it wangwen or Twitter?"
