Worldwide Class Change: An Invincible Swordsman Chapter 94, Legendary Equipment, Double Reed1
Angelina turned her head to look at the approaching Angels and whispered, "Jiang Chen, those are mbers of the Angel Legion, the strongest legion in the i Zone. They’re likely students from lsa Academy, an elite institution on par with the Nordic European Holy City Academy."
Seeing the Golden Dragon lying on the ground, the dozens of Angels were greatly shocked. They had co prepared, having made thorough preparations and bringing special potions to slay the Golden Dragon, only to find two people standing before the Giant Dragon, which lay defenseless on the ground.
"Who is this person?"
"Just two people daring to take on a Giant Dragon alone?"
"It’s not two people, it’s one. That woman is clearly a Priest."
"So strong! Could this person be a student from the Nordic European Union?"
"What do we do? Soone beat us to it, and it looks like the Golden Dragon can’t hold on much longer."
"Afraid of what? Just kill them and take the monster!"
Angelina stood behind Jiang Chen. A weight settled in his heart. He was using his strongest skill to slay the Golden Dragon. If these thirty Angels were to attack, I’ll have to be careful.
Jiang Chen watched as the thirty people slowly approached.
With a thought, Jiang Chen unleashed sixty strands of Sword Qi, forming a periter fifty ters around him, and declared, "Stop right there, or I’ll show no rcy!"
The thirty Angels quickly scattered, surrounding Jiang Chen and the Giant Dragon.
Anthony smiled and said, "Hero, we an no harm."
Jiang Chen sneered. No harm ant? Then why are you scattering? Preparing to attack together? You’re mistaken. Only I snatch monsters from others; no one has ever dared to snatch mine.
Without another word, Jiang Chen sent two Sword Auras after one of the Angels, directly pressing for a kill.
I don’t care what kind of Angels you are. Kill them all!
The thirty Angels never expected Jiang Chen to actually make a move, daring to attack them even while he was still assaulting the Golden Dragon.
SWISH, SWISH, SWISH...
Instantly, a burst of white light flared from each of the thirty Angels, enveloping them.
A Magic Shield? How could Angels have a Magic Shield? Jiang Chen wondered.
Anthony roared, "You struck first! Don’t bla us for being impolite! Charge!"
"Kill!"
"Argh!"
"This is impossible!"
Anthony watched the white light flash where his comrades fell and exclaid, "This is impossible!" We clearly had Divine Light Protection! Why didn’t it protect them? Killed in a single sword strike... How can his Offensive Power be so terrifying?
After more than a dozen flashes of white light signaled their comrades’ deaths, the surviving Angels finally retreated, pulling back beyond the fifty-ter mark.
Jiang Chen stopped his attack as well.
Looking at all the equipnt on the ground, Jiang Chen laughed. It was like they had delivered a fresh batch of equipnt right to his doorstep, all of it matching: either Silver-grade Suits or Diamond-grade Suits.
What incredible luck.
Jiang Chen said, "Angelina, go collect the equipnt."
"Okay."
Angelina walked over and began placing the equipnt, piece by piece, into her Space.
"Damn it! Not only did this person kill them, but he also robbed their equipnt—items which they had painstakingly collected!"
"Kid, give us back our things!"
"Do you have any idea what you’re doing? You’ve offended the Angel Legion! You’ll never know a mont’s peace for the rest of your life!"
"Who exactly are you?"
Anthony frowned deeply. Who on earth is this person? Why have I never heard of him?
Angelina whispered, "Should we return this equipnt to them?"
"Return it? What’s there to return? We snatched this equipnt fair and square. Why should we give it back? If they had killed us, would they have returned our things?"
"Oh."
Is this woman dense? Jiang Chen thought. We snatched it, it’s ours. Why would we return it?
Anthony said, "Hero, we are students of lsa Academy, mbers of the Angel Legion."
"Don’t talk to about being students from lsa Academy. So what if you were the Dean himself? Do you really think I’m afraid of you?"
Anthony took a deep breath. "Offend us, and you offend the Angel Legion."
"Just a bunch of Birdn. Scram, or I’ll kill every last one of you!"
Anthony seethed with anger. He had never suffered such a loss. As a Blazing Angel, he was fearless even against other powerful experts, but he had no confidence in dealing with Jiang Chen.
Especially that eerie Sword Qi; it could actually follow them as if it had eyes. What the hell kind of terrifying skill is this? one of the Angels thought.
"His Offensive Power is very strong; it can penetrate Divine Light Protection."
"This Sword Qi doesn’t just automatically follow you. It finds weak spots, striking the throat or head for a one-hit kill, as if it automatically seeks out an enemy’s vulnerabilities!"
"What kind of Phantom Class is this guy? He’s not a Magician, and he doesn’t look like a lee Class. What lee Class has an attack range of fifty ters?"
Anthony theorized, "It’s highly probable he’s a Magic Swordsman. Magic Swordsn can use both magic and Sword Qi Attacks. It’s an ancient class."
"That doesn’t seem right either," another Angel interjected. "Our academy has Magic Swordsn, but they’re not on the sa level as this guy at all."
"Could it be a rare class? Or maybe a rare Skill Book?"
The Angels couldn’t figure Jiang Chen out, especially his despair-inducing attacks. He could strike from fifty ters away. While they, as Angels, could also use magic and swordsmanship, their magic had a limited range that couldn’t compare to Jiang Chen’s.
Anthony furrowed his brows. "Let’s go."
Without hesitation, Anthony and the remaining mbers of his group left.
Jiang Chen watched Anthony’s departing figure, lost in thought. Dragon in the Sky indeed has a flaw. As long as one is fast enough, they can dodge the Sword Qi Attack. After my First-Stage advancent, I absolutely must get the Thundering Sword Art. It adds the Lightning Elent and, more importantly, increases the speed of Sword Qi from Dragon in the Sky, making it as fast and invisible as a Sharpshooter’s bullet.
Angelina breathed a sigh of relief. "They finally left. I was really afraid they would charge over and gang up on you."
Jiang Chen gazed at the Golden Dragon.
The Golden Dragon lay on the ground as Three Hundred Sword Auras relentlessly assaulted its chest, causing blood to gush from its wounds. The Sword Auras tore into its chest, shredding it from the inside.
The Golden Dragon closed its eyes, unwilling to accept defeat.
[Experience 100,000]
Two beams of light flashed.
Angelina’s eyes widened in shock. "Oh my God! It’s Legendary Equipnt! And two pieces at that! These two pieces must be worth tens of billions!"
Jiang Chen looked at the Legendary Equipnt.
It was a Necklace and an Inscription.
The Necklace’s Attributes could only be unlocked after the First-Stage advancent. However, this wasn’t the case for the Inscription, which could be equipped right from Awakening.
[Rutats Necklace (Myth)]
[Constitution 500]
[Strength 500]
[Spirit 500]
[Agility 200]
[Skill 1: Rutac’s Guardian: When activated, absorbs 50% of incoming damage for 5 seconds. Cooldown: 100 minutes.]
[Skill 2: Rutac’s Attack: When activated, increases damage output by 500% for one minute. Cooldown: 100 minutes.]
Jiang Chen was utterly stupefied by the Myth-level Necklace.
What the hell? The Four Dinsions increase by this much? Constitution, Strength, and Spirit each increased by 500 points! And what the hell are these skills? One absorbs 50% damage, the other boosts attack damage by 500%! If this base effect were amplified a hundredfold, wouldn’t I be invincible? Damage absorption would instantly beco 500%, and attack damage even more terrifying—50,000%! A hundred points of damage would turn into 50,000! This is completely heaven-defying!
Jiang Chen then looked at the other treasure.
[Rutaz Inscription (Myth)]
[Skill Effect 100%]
Hmm... Jiang Chen mused. This Inscription seems a bit underwhelming. It only offers a 100% Skill Effect. A pity it’s not a direct damage skill, but it’s still decent. For , 10,000 damage would beco 20,000.
